Photoshop Elements

Nach einer Neuinstallation des Rechners kann ich meine Nikon NEF-Dateien mit PS Elements 2020 nicht mehr öffnen bzw bearbeiten. Dies auch nachdem ich camera raw 14.2 installiert habe. Was fehlt da noch? Für Hilfe wäre ich dankbar!

Dear Adobe CommunityI've got a little pledge here, I helped an 83 year old phtographer (and ex saxophone player in the berlin jazz philharmonics) to buy a used copy of phtoshop cs6. Not the whole suite, only Phtoshop (used 358 €). No crack all licensed. The real thing. Allthough this ambitioned photographer, has allready purchased four versions of photoshop essentials.Would it be possible to introduce layers in phtoshop essentlials to reach a certain target group of ambitioned phtographers here?Kind regards, Jens.

Hey, so I know I had a reeeeeealllly old version of Elements from at least 10 years ago, but does anyone remember "ghosting" an image?? I'm trying to line things up properly from multiple images, and this tool was my savior - it was a really simple, easy layer effect (style?) that automatically reduced layer opacity to 50%. Now I can't even find how to change layer opacity! Please help! T.T

I'm running Elements 2022 on a Mac and when I used the Type Tool for the first time, the font size was 900 and I was unable to type in the text box. Virtually impossible to contact Adobe Suppport!

Fore this is another option to save the "final" of the piece this would be a very useful, but the reason why I'm trying to use 'Export' is to transfer my individual layers to separate files, and the 'Export as new files' option isn't working as an alternative. So, how would I ungrey the 'Export' button?

I have been looking at many answers evnoloving the font issue with Elements 2022. I am hoping someone from Abobe will be willing to help at some point. This issue seems to be fairly wide spread. I called and again this is my opinion be I could not help but feel like the techs at Adobe were not having this issue so it is not happening. I have been reading on many different sites and in my opinion people seem to be missing two important fact. The first being the issue is not with any other program therefore it is not a windows setting all that is doing is messing with the other programs. The second being the issue is not the same across the menu (titles) and drill-down menus. So one change alters all those and the issue is not creating problems with all of them. I firmly believe this is a programing issue that someone at Adobe needs to believe us and either create an area where you can modify all settings or create a fix. I have had the same problem with another old Adobe program, Photoshop Elements 2.0.  I just purchased a 5 TB external drive to replace a deteriorating 3 TB external drive.  When I try to save files to the new 5 TB drive, PSE says it cannot do it because the drive is full - even though it has almost 4 TB of available space.  It does, however, still save files to the old 3 TB drive.  Having read the solution posted above, I then partitioned the new drive into drives of  about 2.5 TB each, thinking that if PSE 2.0 works with a 3 TB drive, it should work with a 2.5 TB drive.  Unfortunately, I still get the same message when I try to save a file - it cannot do it because the drive is full. Any suggestions, please? Thank you. Dave

Photoshop Elements 2021 crashing issue with new upgrade to windows 11 - I had no problem with windows 10 ... the crashing varies each time- it crashes in the midst of editing, saving, or opening.  A king Adobe Tech helped - but the results were short lived. Please help remove these glitches with you program. I attempted windows 2022 trial and it too does the same thing - I will not pay to upgrade until these problems are resolved. 

Hi,I need to move my Photoshop Elements files from one NAS Drive to another. I have LOTS of files in lots of folders, all correctly connected in the catalog.  I am scared of losing stuff in this process so would like to follow the safest method..  I have backed-up the current catalog using the 'Backup Catalog' function within Elements Organiser.  I see that when I restore from this back-up using the 'Restore Catalog' function within Elements Organiser, I can select the new NAS as the 'New Location.' Before I do the restore, do I need to delete the existing catalog and files from the old/current NAS drive, or does the 'Restore Catalogue' to 'New location' function, first delete the old location stuff before re-creating in the new location?  I don't want everything twice!  If I do need to delete the old stuff first, what is the best / safest way of doing that? Does the 'Restore Catalog' function restore everything, is there anything I will lose?  A

I’ve been using an old Noise Ninja 2 4 2 Plugin with various versions of Photoshop including Elements 2021 for about ten years without any problems at all. Suddenly a couple of days ago it just wouldn’t load although it was still in the Plugins folder.  I’ve re-installed Elements and the Plugin (it’s still downloadable from their website) but it still won’t work . I’m testing the Neat Image Plugin and that’s loading fine. I haven't changed anything recently so I’m mystified as to what’s gone wrong with Noise Ninja.

I have already paid for PSE 2021 (and many others before this) - and was considing upgrading to 2022. I have the trial and it keeps crashing, as well as the 2021 crashing in various different times during the process of opening and image, editing or saving it... which makes me very hesitant to purchase.Is it true you have pay monthly for the Creative Cloud in order to use PSE or any Photoshops? I believe it was part of my PSE 2021 package but appears not to be available as part of being a user any more. I need help to understand and figure out what is best for me.Thank You!

Downloading Photoshop Elements 10 to Windows - Error file archive part of adobe Photoshop Elements is missing, please download all parts . How do I fix this?

Project: Add a consecutive series of numbered JPG pictures as 'stickers' to the corners of a corresponding series of JPGs. I am trying to find a way to streamline this process by importing a file of custom number images that I can access through the graphics drop down and slap onto a series of several hundred photographs.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying before I buy, so am new to Elements.  I started by Importing by Bulk a large number of images, and Organizer crashed. No warning, no message, no Organizer. I then Imported by Folders, a few folders at a time, which worked well until it crashed again, with only a few images being imported. It seems it was crashing on a specific image, as I imported all images before this one, and all after it successfully. However, as far as I can see the image in question is a very normal jpg, similar to the others.   Again there is no error message, the Organizer program just closes. Can you please advise how I might address this problem?

My Elements 15 stopped working in my Mac.Adobe Photoshop Elements 15 Editor Version: 15.0 (15.20170109.m.101074) x64Operating System: Mac OS 10.16.0 when i tryed to paste any image i get this message “NSCreateObjectFileImageFromMemory-Qrcm4RZ1” no se puede abrir porque no se puede verificar el desarrollador.Any idea?

Hi all,I saved all the metadata into files . After doing this, I find the appropiriate face-names in subject and keywords. But I do not find the appropriate rectangle coordinates e. g. x0, y0, width, height or similar in the metadata.Can anyone help where to find the rectangles? Regards AA 

My brushes (elements 19) have just recently changed to a stop sign shape and are only painting 50% of the area covered, has anyone any ideas on how to fix this

I have Elements 12 and need some urgent help please. I've one of my novels up on Amazon in paperback and want to convert it to Kindle. They require that I submit the front cover, spine and back cover (all of which I have designed and saved as three separate images) to them as just one single image.  All I can find is to make a panorama - and that is not what I need.Anybody out that who's a genius and can tell me (in idiot speak please!) what to do? I've just seen below I can drag files, so will try to put the three images in the order in which they are supposed to be as a single image (that is, back,spine,front).Many thanksFionaPS: just seen Adobe has me as new as at this month! I have no problems running Photoshop Elements 2019 on my iMac Retina 5K 27", OS 12.2.1.What improvemtns and features will I get on the 2022 version?

Photoshop Element 2022 acheté il y a 3 mois, Windows 10 à jour, dans Editor plantage dès CTRL/ P, seule solution "fin de tâche" dans le Gestionnaire des Tâches. Pilote d'imprimante à jour, celle-ci fonctionne parfaitement avec tous les autres logiciels. Frustrant d'acheter un logiciel inutilisable.

Hi,When I try to display the metadata of a picture using File/Information menu, the information window opens but it is completely blank and to close this window I have to press escape. This used to work for me. Any clue to solve this ?I am using Phtoshop elements 11 under windows 10 64 bits.
