Photoshop Elements

Dear Community, I bought Elements and it seems to be a big mistake.Unfortuneatly I cant open my NEF files from my Nikon Z6ii. Seems I have to download an extra Plugin named CameraRaw and it seems for the Z6ii it has te be min. CameraRaw 13.1I downloaded and installed 13.1 but still no progress. I am frustrated and angry, seems to be a big nightmare. For 90€ I expect a working program and I want to spend my time with photos and not with reparing a new software.Please help me!Thank you

Hi, I use PSE 2020 on a Windows 10 PC. I recently purchased some fonts that contain alternate characters and ligatures. How do I use these alternate characters and ligatures in PSE 2020? 

Hello Everyone: I've used Photoshop Elements - PSE Versions 8, 15, and now 2021 - since I switched from film to digital photography about 15 years ago. I upgraded to PSE 2021 when I purchased my Nikon D500 that requires Camera Raw 9.5 or greater. After using PSE 2021 for five months I have two questions. First: Elements+:I have read about Elements+ on-line and in one photography book but haven't found any photos so far post-processed with Elements+. According to Elements+ site, Elements+ is an add-on that lets out the hidden functions of Photoshop Elements. These opened functions will appear immediately in PSE after Elements+ is installed. Elements+ appears to be a less-expensive was of risng above PSE's basic levels to a level closer, but not matching, what Photoshop CS/CC provides. Is Elements+ worth getting? Has anyone here used it? Is there a way of editing exif data in Elements 2018 organizer? It would be nice to include data from a manual lens that can't be read by the camera.

Is anyone aware of a quick way (or a filter) to allow me to convert an aerial survey photo taken with infra-red film to natural colours? Specifically this.... 

1. Assume one photo in Organizer of my daughter. Facial recognition is ON. She gets found and appears in a stack in Unnamed People. I provide a name (e.g. Ann). A facial stack with the name Ann gets created in Named People. Is that the only place that "Ann" appears? Will a Tag of some/any kind get automatically created such that it will appear in the Keyword/Tags/Info sidebar on the right of the Media display view? Where? That is, in which 'section'- Keywords, People Tags, Places Tags, Event Tags, other? 2. Assume two photos of me are added to the Organizer. Facial Recognition is turned OFF. I create a People Tag called Bob. I drag that tag to one of the photos of me. I turn on Facial Recognition. Will it find my face on both photos, or only the un-tagged one? Assuming that it finds both, I get an Unnamed People stack of two images of me. I provide the name Bob to the stack and it appears in Named People. Clicking on it shows two photos of me. I return to the Media View. If I chec

Often (not always) when I perform an operation on a layer (for example adjust lighting from the enhance menu) the image in the layer disappears and the layer turns transparent. Often (not always) brush strokes fail to show up on a layer mask. This never happened on my previous version of PSE and needless to say is extremely irritating. If I stop and save the work as a psd and then reload it into elements, the image in the layer shows up again and the brush strokes on a layer mask that I could not see magically appear. Any thoughts?

My old Windows Surface tabled died. I was able to signout from my installation on that PC and i received the message that i should be able to signin on a new PC. But it won't.I tried to chat with support but we are going in circles.First only kb articles that are subscription based,,, after several time telling that it is not a subscription based software they send me the links i already knew about deactivating/logging out from the old PC to be able to login on the new one. I am trying to create a slideshow and ever time I create the slideshow the tools on the left hand side are not all there.  Plus, I cannot click on the icons.  In order for me to click on the icons I need to move the mouse arrow down then it will highlight.  Something is not right whenit's creating the slideshow.  I don't know what else to do.  I have uninstalled then re-installed and it still doesn't work properly.  Any ideas. 

I have the latest update of an online purchased version of Elements. Opened it today and now get the error message the gradient file is bad or corrupted. Elements is now slow, often cannot open files or create a new file and most times closes itself . Should I uninstall and reinstall? Concerned my license will not be recognised. 

I downloaded PHotoshop Elements 2021 to my new Mac (Big Sur 11.4) and it worked fine for a week.  Now only the creative Cloud will open adn Organizer will open but it acts like it is think9ing when I click Photo Editor but does nothing. Help!  I have many projects I need to complete.

Frequently when I try to save a PSD file my Mac will crash and freeze on me. I'm using Mojave V. 10.14.6.    I have 228.77 GB avail of 1.03 TB.  I get the spinning color wheel and have to shut down the computer.  When I open again and try to retrieve my PSD file it's corrupt (see attached).  Anyone have any solutions?  So frustrating to have to start all over! Hi all,I'm going to upgrade my Mac from OS 10.11.6 to MacOS 10.14.   I currently use Photoshop Elements 15 and just want to check that there won't be any problems using the program once I've upgraded to 10.14?I've seen that it works fine with 10.10, 10.11 and 10.12 - but can't find anything to guarentee it works with 10.14.Would appreciate any help.Thanks,Kieran

I have been using Elements 7 for a few years.  I love my Elements 7!  I have the original disk and serial number and I just wanted to know if it can be installed to my new Win10 laptop (and how to do that.) Your assistance would be appreciated.   

I am using Adobe Elements Premiere and Photoshop 2020. Lately the programs have been behaving erratically. Premiere will not save my clip markers when I reopen the project;  Organizer will freeze up when I try to add multiple tags; and the Adobe apps are  slow and  crash unexpectedly.  Other applications on this computer appear to perform normaly.   I cleaned up the photos (deleted dups);  defragged and reindexed the drives; updated all my drivers; uninstalled copies of Elements 2018 I had on the machine (leaving only the 2020 versions), shut down and rebooted the machine multiple times but the problems persist.  Attached are screen shots of  the system errors.  Does anyone have any idea what could be going on? I am about to try to backup the catalogs, uninstall Elements 2020 and install Elements 2021. Are there any issues with upgrading from Elements 2020 to 2021 I should be aware of?

Hi I have a Sony A6000 camera and want to edit photos in RAW, when I try to open photos a message pops up advising me to see camera raw documents. where do I find this, can I add this camera to Elements. version 11

I have been reviewing some of my photos and am finding some with multiple duplicates. I don't understand how they get into organizer in the first place but I am afraid to delete them as, in past experience, it seems when I delete one I end up with a question mark instead of a picture and it wants to try and find the picture but can't. My organization skills are lacking.

what does copying onto separate layers mean? and looping animation? 

Hallo,ich bin von PSE 9.0 auf 19 umgestiegen, weil es dort Probleme mit jpegs gab. Dort wurden die Verzeichnisse überwacht und neue Dateien übernommen. Das klappt bei PSE 2021 nicht.Kann mir jemand helfen oder hat jemand eine Idee?GrußChristoph

When I 1st downloaded the program it wanted to analyze every image from my prior version [2018]. This took several hours because there are over 20,000 images. After it finally completed this process I tried to use the program. It sat there, no cursor was available to use and I could do nothing with the program.I have deleted the program and reload it 2 times with the same end result. Is my copy defective? I need help.
