Photoshop Elements

Program kan ikke indlæse RAW-filer fra mit kamera - Nikon Z7 II.

Hi, I hope someone here can help me! I've been searching online to find a fix to this problem, but I've only seen solutions for Illustrator, not Photoshop Elements. I'm using PSE 2020. When I Define Pattern as a single block and then choose Fill Layer to multiply the pattern onto a larger canvas, faint white seam lines continuously appear. I can zoom in and they are still there (a bug mentioned in Illustrator), I can't find where I can see if the pattern has shrunk or added a decimal to the pixel size or canvas size. How can I solve this issue without having to painstakingly go over my final canvas with a blur or pattern stamp?Thanks for your help!!Molly

Da ich die Version 2020 habe, möchte ich die Version 2018 von meinem Rechner entfernen. Der Speicherplatz auf der C:-Platte ist knapp und Photoshop 2018 braucht viel Platz. Was muss ich tun. Mit den Windows-Möglichkeiten läßt sich das Programm nicht deinstallieren. 

Hi there, Im running High Sierra 10:13:6 and thats the newest OS my Mac can run, I need PSE and from what i can tell  Photoshop Elements 2018 is th latest compatable release, but I cant find one any where? Any ideas folks, im in a bind with this. Malcolm

I have Photoshop Elements Version 18.0 bought in 2020. Lately when I open a RAW photo I see red streaks and splotches on some objects in the photo. These streaks do not appear however in the JPG of the same photo nor do they appear when I look at the photo in my Nikon ViewNX software. Also, the red streaks do not print. Has my Elements software been corrupted somehow?

Looking to get photoshop elements for basic photography conversion from RAW to jpg to optimize outdoor landscape and wildlife photos.  Can I get a version for both Mac and PC or should I favor one over the other?  Thanks!

I DID A BACK UP OF MY PHOTOSHOP 15 ELEMENTS AND IT SAID IT WAS SUCCESSFUL HOWEVER COULD NOT FIND THE BACKUP AND MY PHOTOS HAVE DISAPPEARED FROM MY PHOTOSHOP ANY HELP

For many years, I was able to create place names in Photoshop Elements that reflected the name of where I was: Legoland CA; Aquarium of the Pacific; Minnesota State Fair, etc. A few rev's ago, the Map feature was added, which forces me to pinpoint the location on the map. So now, my Place tags are along the lines of United States > California>Palmdale>Angeles Forest Highway. In addition, I have to be connected to the internet so the map can do its magic - so much for taking my laptop to a park and tagging a bunch of photos. Is there a way to avoid the map feature and create/attach Place tags that have meaning to me? (I'm confident the Angeles Forest Highway was a hike I did....but which trail?) My workaround is to add my Place names in Events, or to copy/paste "Legoland CA" (for example) in each of the photo's captions.

I had hoped when I upgraded to Elements 15 that I would be able to add Place Tags to my photos, but again, I have to put them on a map, which I don't do. WHY can't I simply have the option of organizing the way I want to? Has anyone found a solution to this other than putting the "Place" photos in "Other" like I am currently doing?

My Elements 2019 died. It refused to close no matter what I did. So, I bought Elements 2021. When I try to open pictures from the organizer, they open, but are blurry,  it says file lost, click to reconnect. But then it asks what file I want to connect it to. I have 24K pictures and certainly can't do anything onsey twosey. How can I get the 2021 organizer and editor to play nice together? 

The pen is not working correctly in the editor. When hovering, the cursor appears correctly under the pen but putting the nib to screen the location if the cursor is displaced far to the right and down.Pen works correctly in other apps.I thought it was a scaling issue as default windows display is set to 200%, but switching to 100% has the same issue.

I have seen a video how to fit a new image automatically to the canvas in Photoshop, and was wondering if this can be done in PS Elements as well. In the full Photoshop under general preferences there is an option to, "resize image during place".  I know that it can be done manually in Elements, but it would save time if it could be done automatically. Example. I am working on an image in PS Elements. I wish to bring in another image on a separate layer that has different pixel dimensions. When i import the new image it could be larger or smaller than the existing canvas and I have to manually resize. Is there a way to have it automatically resize to the canvas size? Kind regardsChris

I created a PDF file from MS Word, and tried to open it in Adobe Photoshop.  I selected both pages, but when Adobe opened the file, it was a blank file without any of the original PDF.   Suggestions?

In 2006 I bought a Plustek OpticFilm 7600i with SilverFast.  Looking at my old first scan images they were produced (saved?) in Photoshop 7.0. If I remember correctly Photoshop ‘called’ SilverFast to do the scanning and then were saved by Photoshop, which is now seen in the file’s properties. This year I purchased a new HPzBook running Windows 10 Pro 64bit.  I’ve bought the latest versions of SilverFast and Photoshop Elements 2020.  Both have been updated in the last few days to the latest release.  I saw that Photoshop bridge was also installed, when I installed the latest releases. However, I am unable to ‘call’ Silverfast from within Photoshop as I did in 2006. Has this feature been removed or have I yet to learn how to do it? 

I would be interested to learn if ythere is a way to:1- Automatically fill a circular mask to fill a frame2- Automatically centre a mask to the centre of the canvas or other object. I know how to do this manually, but it would be nice to find out if this can be done automatically to the exact pixel. Your advice would be appreciated.Kind regrds  Chris

hi.I wanted to do a re-install of my software after deleting some system files.When the DMG is finished being verified, i only get a window with a number of folder icons showing. It is not going into install.. and i dont see any installation icons.I do see one icon with a big red circle around it....  sort of looks like an error.. like i cant do something.. or it cant do something...i've never seen an error lile this.

I imported all my photos into PSE Organizer 2021.I wished to copy some files to another folder. Organizer allows "select" and "copy" but I can't see a "paste" command.I copied the files using Windows Explorer. I then right clicked on the destination folder in Organizer and imported the files. The photo thumbnails do not show in the destination folder.I tried another call to import the files but it says the file import for each file has been skipped as the files are already in the folder.I can't view the copied files in Organizer.I have deleted the Organizer "Catalog" and recreated it but the copied files still do not show up in Organizer.Why doesn't this work?How should I be doing this?ThanksSteve 

I just installed the new photoshop elements on my computer.  It worked at first, but after I closed it and reopened it, I couldn't get it to load.  It says Loading Photoshop Elements Editor Workspace and thinks for a while then nothing happens.  Please help!

Hello, I am a novice at using Photoshop and am having no luck with using the tooth whitening tool in "Quick" edit. I select the tool, highlight the required teeth and.....nothing happens! Am I missing something?

I just started using Elements 2021. The quick selection tool worked fine on the first photo I edited, but after that the normal circular shape of the tool changed into a shape like a cross, and it wouldn't select anything. The size and shape of the tool did not change when I pressed the bracket keys on my keyboard.  I restarted the computer and the tool went back to the normal shape, but when I began to edit a second photo it turned into the cross again. I can't find a way to repair the tool. Please help.

Some of the people in my photos are mostly referred to by nicknames, but not always.  I do not want to use diffeerent tags for any person.  I want to see a list of assigned face tags.  I can take screen shots of listings that use more than a single screen

Adobe has some guides in PDF that an overseas support person said he would download to my computer, but I cannot locate them.  Please tell me how to download them.
