Photoshop Elements

In the edit keyword tag dialog when I Click on "Choose Color" the " color Picker" dialog has no colors,   visable. all of the letters ie. H. S. B. R. G. B. AND # . are populated and change when the mouse is moved around the screen.  Also when I try to pick an image to place on a tag from ite image picker the inages are zoomed in completely. Please Help me. Chuck

after a free trial of photoshop elements v 2020 and not purchase, I attempted to restore my registered copy of v15 and have failed and adobe support rather than helping sent my here to a forum.  can somone help me or should i abandon adobe?

Hello all,for some time now (can't pinpoint it, maybe even after update to 2020) my videos in organizer won't play, they all appear with green bars - see attached image.Graphics drivers are all updated.What is going wrong!Best regardsMatthias from Germany 

When I need to find an album of which I vaguely remember part of its name, there is one option only (if I'm correct): browse all albums until you hit the right one. I would very much like to have a search fucntion for (part of the) album names.Rik Beeftink, PSE 19.0.0.0

In the pop-up for "Find by caption or note", the are - in addition to the string to be searched for - two conditions: (1) "Match only the beginning..." and (2) "Match any part...". Condition 1 is more restrictive than condition 2 and therefore will yield an equal or smaller number of search results. Condition 2 is more permissive than condition 1 and therefore will yield an equal or larger number of search results. Condition 1 is the default condition. I would prefer condition 2 to be the default, because I unvariably find myself to override the default and select condition 2. For the vast majority of my caption searches, I don't know the exact caption; instead, I vaguely remember or suspect a word that might be a part of the caption.Rik Beeftink, PSE 19.0.0.0

Ich fotografiere mit Canon EOS 100 und bearbeite die Bilder in Photoshop Version 10.Wenn die Bilder im Organizer verschlagwortet werden sollen, sind die Bilder defekt bzw.mit dem Symbol zerrissen gekennzeichnet. Nach Löschung der Bilder und wieder Aufruf sind dann wieder etliche Bilder korrekt dargestellt. Dies muß laufend wiederholt werden.Welcher Fehler liegt hier vor?VG  Alois 

I am new to Elements - i would like to overlay a line drawing of a photo as a temporary layer on top of artwork I have drawn in order to “check” the accuracy. Any steps or tips to get me going?

Can rhe selection tool line be made more distinct? When drawing, I have difficulty seeing it on the subject. It is particularly difficult when using the eliptical tool.  Maybe it's my eyes!I use Elements 2020 on a MAC. Much appreciation for any help.Thank youJean

I want to resize a photo to fit a bead loom pattern measuring 1.5 in by 7.0 inch. How do I do that?

One of the Windows system requirements for PSE is7.3GB of available hard-disk space to install applications; additional 3GB to download all optional content; additional free space required during installation (cannot install on a volume that uses a case-sensitive file system or on removable flash storage devices).What is this Optional Content? 

I have a new pc, Windows 10. Trying to install Photoshop Elements 11 from disc. After typing serial number, I'm told:The wizard was interupted before Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 could be installed. Your system has not been modified. I don't even know what that means. Could someone tell me what I need to do and exactly what I need to download so that I can install this?Thank you.

Le processus de téléchargement s'arrête invariablement à 98%. Photoshop apparaît bien dans mes applications mais ne s'ouvre pas. Faut-il, après l'achat souscrire à un abonnement? With Adobe Flash coming to end of life, I am getting messages to uninstall it and would like to do so.  However, if I search my MacBook Pro for Flash files, the result is thousands of xmp files from Elements.  I am concerned that uninstalling Flash will disable my Elements, or the 10's of thousands of xmp files I have.   Can anyone tell me if uninstalling Flash will have any effect on Elements 2020 or my very large edited photo collection?  I do not have Creative Cloud.

I recently updated to PSE 2020 from PSE 8. (I am using Windows 10 and PSE 8 was actually working but not optimally.) I do a lot of work with layers from multiple files. In PSE 8, when I dragged a layer from one file onto another the original size of the layer was preserved, regardless of whether it was smaller or larger than the new canvas. But today when I dragged a layer from one file to another in PSE 2020, it shrank the (rather large) layer to fit the new canvas. I didn't want it to do that. Is there a way to tell PSE 2020 to keep the original size of a layer that that is moved from one file to another? I.e., if I'm dragging a layer from an image that is 6600x6600 pixels onto a canvas that is 2000x2000 pixels I don't want the entire image shrunk to 2000x2000 pixels; I want to see 2000x2000 pixels-worth of that image and be able to move it around, or re-size it myself, so I can decide what part of it to keep. I manipulate multiple photos and do a lot of experimentation with layers.

Hi there, I have computers in a secure environment (no internet) that run 2020 Adobe Elements Bundle.  However, the 2021 version installation has changed, and it does not allow me to use offline installation.  Is there a solution for offline installation and activation? Thanks much!

I am using PSE2021 and I really like the Editing side.  I don't like using PSE Organizer though.  I know I can untick the option to save to Organizer but I frequently forget.  How can I make the default so that the photos do not use Organizer or save to it?Many thanksPaul

I hadPhotoshop Elements 14 installed on 2 PCs both of which have failed.I have purchased new PCs tp replace them but because the old kit won't boot I can't logout of PE14 to deactivate them and as as such can't install PE14 on the new kit....   Going on to my account at Adobe show PE14 with multple licences but doesn't give me the ability to deactivate those licences...Help.... 

I want to be able to store my photos in the cloud somewhere and make them accessible to my family so that my family can search photos using the keywords, etc. that I have attached to each photo.  I use Photoshop Elements 20 to organize my photos.  Is this possible?

I am trying to restore a full backup on a new computer. I also indicated that I wanted to move the files to a a different drive.I have run the restore function and have both drives appearing in my tree.  I can see that the photos have been copied onto the new drive. My folder structure appears in Photoshop Elements Organizer, for the new drive, and is correct and my tags have been restored correctly.  When I go to the new drive and tree, within Organizer, I have no thumbnails of my photos. I have 42,000 photos stored in the new drive. Is it just taking a long time to restore the images or do I need to import them?  Thank you!

I just purchased and installed Photoshop Elements 2021 and will likely be getting a refund. The polygonal lasso tool does not work on my magnified display on my 4K monitor.  It was the same in version 14 except I had a workaround.  The workaround doesn't work in this new version which really upsets me a lot.The polygonal lasso tool is not recognized properly  in the displayed area of the images I work with.  No matter what image I work with the result is the same.  It just does not work.  It is the flakiest tool in the bunch.  There are also other issues which I have had to work around but I can't be specific because I just move on from my difficulties.  There is absolutely no reason that it would not work on my magnified display except for faulty programming of your software.  In the older version of your software (Elements14) I was at least able to turn magnification back on and Photoshop's window would return to its magnified state a

Hi all, I'm using Elements 14. Even though it is in Expert mode the toolbar on the left is in single file and goes down behind the bottom bar, so I can't see the rest of the tools. Please see screen shot. I'm not sure how I did it but I somehow made a mistake by holding down a button on my keyboard and clicking on the toolbar, I think! And I don't know how to get it back to how it should be. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled the program but this has made no difference. Any help or advice will be much appreciated! 🙂 Thanks in advanceMark 

I tried to move this software to a new computer.  When I tried to deregister it on the old computer the website stopped at the password explaining that I needed to change my password.  In order to do that it required me to enter a code.  The routine then sent a code to my email address.  The problem is that the company hosting that email address went out of business years ago so that the email address is just as dead as the company.  No code, no login. I tried to get support from Adobe.  I won't bore you with the the details of my search for support.  Let me just say that it is not available.  The company has shielded itself completely from formet customers like me. So I face a choice..  Either I can throw the software out and chalk one up to experience or I can send it to Adobe headquarters as a gift and include a letter explaining why I am giving it to them. Which would you do?

Any ideas on how to print out a list of assigned tags used in photoshop 2021? 

Hi all,I created a catalog with about 53000 photos and videos that are in an external disk. I imported all the images and then created 3 main albums each with the same categories (3 different camera models). All went smoothly until I tried to update the catalog with new files. They were included in the catalog but when I tried to drag photos into the corresponding album an error message appears (see file attached). I tried different methods with the same aim but with no success.Also when I tried to optimize the catalog the organizer was unable to proceed. Oddly, on another smaller catalog there was no problem whatsoever. Can anyone knows what's going on?
