Photoshop Elements

First I searched, only to find most recent on this topic was 2020, so I must ask here.  I recently upgraded to the 2025 edition, and it said I had an update.  But when I click on install now, I get "There is no application set to open the URL auphd://update? sapCode=PSE&baseVersion=25.0&platform=osx10-64&skipUpdateInfo=true." I use Firefox, but under choose application that was greyed out.  After enabling show all apps, I chose Firefox, but only two search results, from 2020 and 2023, and no update option.  So I chose connect to app store, the result being "Cannot Connect to App Store". I don't understand why (1) I have to log into Adobe every time I oppen PE2025, and (2) why it can't update application from within the PE app, like almost every program I have used. How do I install the upgrade? And can I not log into Adobe just to use PE? It was a one time purchase, not a subscription, so I don't think Adobe needs to know when I use t

Die Daten sind alle weg, die Platte ist defekt. Seit ich das Programm auf einem neuen Rechner installiert habe, motzt Adobe das Programm wäre noch auf einem anderen Rechner instaliert. Elements 23 (with Windows 10) will not load ARW Raw files from my new Sony A6700 camera.  Apparently the problem is that while Adobe's site says Elements 2023 should work with Camera Raw plug-in version 15.1 or later, Elements 23 will in fact not load any Camera Raw version later than 14.5.  And Adobe is disinclined to do anything to rectify this omission. After reading the posts I tried the recommended solution of downloading the latest (16.1) version of the plug-in directly from Adobe's site, but after downloading it I received a message that the download "Could not be verified" and I could go no further.  Interestingly, when (just to satisfy my curiosity) I downloaded version 14.5 of the plug-in from the same Adobe webpage, I received a "Verified" message immediately.  Presumbably, if I had proceded to install the verified version 14.5 I would have been able to load any old Raw files except of course, the ones I am trying to load from my new camera! Any

HelloWhen you use CTRL W , all your "keywords" are written in the file metadata. This also true for the "Persons" tags, the "Events" tags and any  photo description .If you  “reimport”  the photos you can select the option to match the metadata keywords with the existing ones in PSE. This works fine but NOT for the persons tags. Rather than matching them with their PSE equivalent, a new category is created (“imported tags”) and all the persons tags are written there. I suppose that all the tags that PSE cannot match are grouped in this category, but I do not understand why the matching is not extended to the "persons" category . It is also the case for the “events” tags.In PSE, the category “Persons” et “Events” are not  part of the “Keywords”  category, but when they are written in the metadata their tags become “ordinary” keywords… This is certainly the explanation, but  could not it be taken care of at reimport time ?Unless I missed something in th

I purchased and downloaded Adobe Photoshop Elements version 9 years ago. I tried to use it recently and I got a message that I have to sign in within a week of purchase to use it. Also, I tried signing in, and the website says I signed in successfully and to go back to whatever I was doing. Then I open the Photoshopapp and still get the sign in message. What to do? 

A while ago I got my hands on a CD of Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0, from what little I've been able to find it seems dated, but other than that I haven't been able to find much about it. Is it still usable in the modern day? (Somewhat skeptical though) Or would I need to get my hands on an older computer to get it working? (The CD itself doesn't seem to read for me but I have been able to register it on my account if that changes anything)

.MOV Videos from my new iPhone 16 with IOS 18 will not play or show a thumbnail on Organizer 2021. They have no thumbnail on Windows File Explorer but will play on Photos, Media Player or any other Windows video app. I have tried all kinds of different camera settings on the iPhone including turning HDR OFF and reducing the frame rate and resolution, but nothing makes them work on Organizer. Is there any iPhone setting or Organizer/Windows update that will make this work?

If so, what are the quirks? If not, how may I upgrade? Thank you.

Hello , has anyone a good understanding of the way keywords and metadata are managed in PSE Organizer ? Here are my findings and questions: In PSE Organizer (24) , my keywords categories are:  dates, locations structured by sub categories ( I do not use the "location group" of PSE - no GPS data) and eventually multiple categories and subcategories ... Then come the PSE  "persons" category  (that I have organized in groups)  and last, the PSE "events" group..For a given photo, on the right hand side of the screen , all the selected tags come in the right order  (i.e. like the keyword list).However on the bottom of the screen, "events"  (if any) would come first, then"people", then date ,  location, and , last,  the other tags...Despite a different order, nothing very disturbing. However the "people" order  is  surprising :  rather than being sorted by "group" and alphabetic order as displayed on the right side,  the n

I have being printing on a Canon  pro 200 through PSE 2023. Now it wont print, telling me that it cannot open the printer.The problem appears to be with PSE 2023 because I can print from the laptop theough other print options seperate to PSE 2023.  Any help would be great appreicatedTonyN

Hello,Few weeks ago I've had to replace my CPU/Motherboard. My PC sudently had crashed and didn't let me the time to log out Photoshop. As Photoshop was installed on my desktop and laptop, I was not able to re-install the application on my newly rebuilded PC..... (Too many licenses used error). In order to avoid such situation, I'm wondering if it is possible to log out the applications (both Photoshop et Premiere Element) when you close (quit). Thanks for your help. 

Help please. Certain guided programmes in Elements have stopped working, in particular the peek-through overlay. I have used this multiple times in the past with no problems. I have restarted my computer and reinstalled the software.  Any help or ideas appreciated.

PNG files won't open in Photoshop Elements 2025 Premier. I don't know what the issue is. I can save images as PNG but they will not open in PS Elements 2025. I'm running windows 11. Other programs on my PC will open them but not PS Elements.

I used to open raw images in Elements 2024, but now get a message that it requires GPU acceleration. I have been able to open raw files in the past and don't understand why I am unable to now. I have an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 card. I can still open raw files in Elements 2021! I am not a techie so don't understand all the directions on the Adobe website. I certainly don't want to upgrade further in case the problem continues plus I don't want a subscription. Any help will be appreciated.

I bought a version 10 of Photoshop Elements, Registration Date Dec 28, 2023, lifetime which is 32-bit.  The I can only download for 32-bit. Now that I bought a 64-bit computer, it does not work on it. Do you have any ideas on how I can make it work

I want the default tray in which my printer looks for paper to be the cassette but it is ALWAYS set to Rear Tray which is empty. I have to change it every time I print. How can I reset the default tray to be cassette?Canon TS 6300 series printer. With all other programs it looks for paper in the cassette where the paper is.

My old computer died.  Bought a new one. Downloaded PSE 15 from my Adobe Account.  Can't open it because Adobe says I have "too many devices using that serial number."  In my Adobe Account it says I have "no devices activated". How can I deactivate a device if Adobe doesn't show me what devices it "thinks" I have activated??? Doesn't sound legal to me. .

I have adobe photoshop elements 13 that I am trying to move from my old computer to the new windows 11 computer but keep getting a message to login to adobe.  is there a work arond?  

Hello, i am working in Photoshop elements 2024, using the "advanced" tab/mode. I'm trying to print out an image at 77%.  There is no scale option in the Print Dialogue box. How do i do this? Surely there must be an easy way? thank you

I just installed Elements 25 on my MacbookPro (V. 15.4.1). When I go to download photos, it only offers the options 'from files and folders', 'in bulk' and 'from iphoto'. It doesn't offer 'from camera or card reader'. Is this normal?

Photoshop Elements 2022 very slow at startup (at least seven minutes). My hardware is enabled to support it. What can be done to solve this problem?

I bought a never-used Photoshop Element 12, along with Premiere Element 12.  DVDs for Mac and Windows came in sealed box with redemption code.  Used redemption code to obtain Serial #s for both apps, and used Windows DVD and serial numbers to install both apps on my laptop.  I already had an Adobe account, as I own a copy of Acrobat Pro.  I then used the serial numbers to register both Elements and Premiere Elements, and Adobe now lists both products as registered.  So far so good. While still signed into my Adobe account, I opened Elements 12 on my laptop.  A screen opened with a link and a message stating that I must sign into my Adobe account, and am required to register the product with 7 days or it will stop working.  (I was already signed in, and the product was already registered.)  I followed the link and signed in via password and 2FA.  When I did, I received a message stating that I'm signed in and can get back to where I left
