Photoshop Elements

I have an old, reliable copy of Photoshop Elements 5.0 that does everything I need, and I've installed it on my new Windows 11 PC.  It works just fine but nags me to register it.  However, the registration process always gives a Registration Error.  Every time I start up Elements I have to click "Register Later" because it won't permit me to "Register Now."  Any ideas on how to get this registered?

Bonjour.Quand je modifie une photo dans photoshop element, le jeu de version apparait en gris dans les vignettes et quand j'ouvre un élément du jeu de version, il est tout gris. Je ne peux ouvrir correctement que l'original. De plus quand je veux modifier une photo, je fais enregistrer sous, je valide et le message s'affiche avec un cadena: modification en cours.  les 2 problèmes sont surement liés. Cordialement

How can I delete photo tags from the catalog?  Like misspelled tags and such? I'm using Photoshop Elements 21.

I have Photoshop Elements 6 on my Dell. I recently purchased a Mac and I'd like to know if I have to purchase an IOS version of Photoshop Elements to use on the Mac. My guess is yes. I know we're talking about different operating systems. I'm just wondering if Adobe would see my original Windows version of Photoshop Elements 6 as enough to allow me a free download of a current IOS version? Thanks. 

Trying to smooth skin, cirecle shows up but there is no sliding tool to adjust? What am I missing? Its a low resolution photo, 72 as Im just using it for a post. When the screen with the photo with circle comes up I can't back out of it. Have to shut my computer down.

Hallo,ich kann aus dem Fotoeditor heraus nicht mehr drucken. Der Fotoeditor findet beide Drucker nicht. Mit dem Organizer geht es aber.  Unter Windows 10 sind auch beide Drucker erreichbar.Woran kann das liegen?Bernd

I am  running Elements 2024 Windows 11 successfully (mostly!). The machine is powerful enough to run Topaz Phot0 A1 pretty quiciky. When I try to use Open in Camera Raw within Elements, the machine locks up. If I revert to Elements 9 and open files using Open As Camera RAW, I can access the useful RAW editor. I did not have any problems using the RAW editor in Elements 2023. I wish I hadn´t upgraded to 2024. Help About Plugins tells me that I have loaded RAW 16.0.0.1677.  Any advice ?

How can I enable the ellipse tool in the toolbar?

I just updated Elements 24 to Elements 2025, plus I added the camera RAW plugin. Now I get this message when I attempt to edit an image. I have Windows 10 and Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-5200U CPU @ 2.20GHz. 

Elements 2024 states, " One or more plugins are currently not available on your system. " I've used this plugin on older versions of Elements. Do I need to uninstall 2024 and install one of my older version? This plugin for my Canon Pro 100 makes a big difference in my prints. Installing this plugin has always been a little hard for Elements to recognize. I've never gotten a not available notice.Thanks for any help.

Hi Can see how to move or delete photos in panelled organizer (right click options). However I am usually in full screen to determine the worth of the photo and the right click options do not appear. Have to go back to the multi-photo mode(non full screen) to get the options. Is there any  way to have these options in full screen? Many thanks.Or maybe you can suggest a better workflow 

Hi, I purchased a background pattern from Shutterstock in png format. I have loaded it into Photoshop Elements and defined the pattern.   When selecting the pattern in pattern fill it fills with white? No other patterns do this on the document I am trying to do.  I have also defined new patterns and they work. I am at a loss?  Be grateful for any help.

Hi,   PSE 2022 on a late 2015 Mac running OS 12.7.6     As with other people I am getting the license utility failure on my Mac since early october (PSE 2025 launch).  I've not knowingly had an update to either my OS or PSE, although PSE may well have updated without my knowing.  After the failure, PSE will run as before save that the check for updates is ghosted.  Any ideas?   I also have Bridge installed on my machine.  In a vain effort to fix the problem I uninstalled Bridge and CC.  Then uninstalled PSE and Premiere (which also causes the licutil, but I prefer using iMovie, so no big deal).  I then deleted any ADOBE looking plist in the library and any other ADOBE-esque products and rebooted.  Then re-installed PSE, only for the fault to remain.   I really don't want to be bothered with yet another purchase of new software.  Frankly, I used to have PSE (and premiere) 14 and there is nothing new in

MacOS, 2023 Elements Pops up notifications in the lower left corner every time I run it. How do I turn this off?

Hi all.  In an attempt to stop my scratch disk full errors down I wanted to change the scratch disk location to my D drive which has the most space.  Preferences only shows drives C, which is an SSD and E which is a subset on C.  The D drive, an HHD, does not show up on the list.  Any suggestions?

Bonjour, j'ai reinstaller photoshop elements 11 sur mon nouvel ordinateur suite à ça j'ai le message suivant au lancement de l'application "limite d'activation atteinte". Le logiciel a été desinstaller sur mon ancien pc et meme desactivé sur celui de mon épouse. Donc il n'y a plus que sur mon nouveau pc que l'application est active. Que puis je faire pour débloquer la siuation ? Merci.

Many times I have encountered a situation where I can not get the PS Elements 2022 Organizer to execute.  I have the Organizer icon in my Windows 11 Taskbar which links to the Organizer's .exe file.  In this situation when I click on the icon nothing happens.  In this state I am also not able to execute the Organizer from the Windows File Explorer either.  What I finally discovered is that I can force it to execute by running the Organizer in Administrator mode.  I have never encountered this problem when the Organizer is the first app I run after booting and I think it works consistently provided I have not used any of the other Photoshop apps that I use.  The problem is intermittent and could be either an Adobe issue or a Windows 11 issue.  Has anyone else experienced this issue?

When I select my basic eraser tool, it paints instead of erasing.  I was playing around with the background eraser one night and it has been messed up ever since.  I have tried resetting my tools with no luck.  I'm new to elements and I'm sure it is something simple but I just can'y figure it out.  I need it back in a hurry to finish a project.  Can anyone help?

I am running PSE 11 on an external SSD with MacOS Mojave. My main SSD (replaced) in my old MAC from 2012 is running MacOS Catalina. In order to use PSE 11 I need to restart my external SSD which is a hazzle all the time and I don't have access to all files. To be able to use PSE again on my main SSD I found a PSE2022 upgrade version on Ebay which is compatible with Catalina. The question, do I need a physical PSE 11 version on the main SSD to install the upgraded version PSE2022 or is having the serial number of PSE 11 enough? I have asked Adobe helpdesk but they refuse to help me. Thanks

I have both Elements and Premiere Elements 2023 installed on old pc.Going to My Account, they are listed and the set up/s can be downloaded. However both installations fail after a few minutes and I get Error 183 and/or could not find MSVCR 120.dll ... whatever that is.According to what I have read, because I only have these products installed on one pc then I should be able to install onto my new pc. I don't think it is necessary to log out on my old pc? I have tried to find a way to contact Adobe directly by email but it seems that as a domestic hobby user they do not want to be contacted?Would very much appreciate advice from the Community.Thank you

War bis gestern glücklich mit Photoshop 2018. Konnte alle Bilder herrlich bearbeiten wie gerade rücken, Ausschneiden, mehr Farbe hinzufügen, nachschärfen. Dann musste ich auf Photoshop 2025 umsteigen. Das habe ich getan, das programm gekauft und meinen Kalatalog (viele Bilder) importiert. Jetzt finde ich im Editor gar nichts zur Bildbearbeitung. Schärfe zum Beispie oder Bilder gerade rücken. was mache ich falsch ???? Bin sehr verzweifelt Danke Jens

I have PSE 2023 and have used it a few times on my new computer with Windows 11.  I tried logging in today and the main window opens but when I hit the Photo Editor button it says it's loading, spins for a little while and then disappears.  I have used Task Manager to close Adobe and also rebooted my computer.  It still does the same thing.  Anyone know how to fix this?
