Photoshop Elements

I want to ask about Photoshop setup fail after download it 

I have a jpg in Elements. How can I draw a rectangle in the image, color it white and feather the edges? I have tried everything and am not sure it can be done. Sounds odd but it's to design a book cover. Thank you for any suggestions. 

I am preparing to move my catalog to an EHD. When I check the system info it shows as Vesion 18. I have never had PSE 18. I have PSE 2020. do I need to reinstall the program to be using the 2020 version? Hallo ,ich will Photoshop elements 2012 auf einem neuem PC installieren. Das Programm wurde von meinem Konto down geloaded und die Lizenznummer eingetragen. Nach Installation des Programms und Aufruf, komme ich auf eine Seite , in der mitgeteilt wird, dass eine Registrierung notwendig ist (obwohl das Produkt bereit in meinem Konto registriert ist) . Folgt man den dem Link  (oder scannt den QR Code), muss man sich auf seinem Konto anmelden. Dann erfolgt der Hinweis ( signed in) und man soll die Seite schliessen und an den ursprünglichen  Ort zurückkehren. Dort tut sich aber nichts . Das Programm öffnet sich nicht und man wird wieder zur Registrierung aufgerufen.

I find the fact that every time I click on anything in Photoshop Elements very annoying.I want it to open only when I click on Tools below the workspace, I don't want to have to keep closing it every time I do anything.  When I want to open the tools, I'll click on Tools.I've tried to find an answer online, but I can only find an answer about how you stop it from opening with PDF files.

I have been a user of the Elements" produe line for many years. Today I spent over an hour trying to resolve an issue that I am having; namely, lack of a low-cost cloud solution for using Premiere Elements. I have recently taken a large number of photos and wanted to add them, but my hard drive is full, In addition, I have some 16K photos backed up on an external hard drive that I would like to add, so I have the ability to access them fromanywhere and share with my family and friends. In "chatting' with Adobe today, I was advised that in order to hve a cloud solution I had to subscribe to the Adobe family offering at a cosy 0f $700+ per year.  Way too expensive given that I only need a storage solution and not all the bells and whistles. Given this, I would like for Adobe to consider offering a reasonably proed cloud soluton for Elements and tha ability for it to asign a record number to the photos so that they can easily be refeeced from a hard drive, etc. I have many photos tha

Hello, I am trying to re-install Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements 2019 (which I paid for after upgrading from 2018) onto a different drive on my computer. It's the same Windows computer that I had Elements on before. There is no difference in it whatsoever. When I click to launch the install I keep getting an error message saying that my browser or operating system is no longer supported and that I might have to install the latest updates to my operating system. My OS is up to date. I even changed my default browser to MS Edge (which I detest) in order to make this happen. I continue to get the same message. I'm beyond frustrated that I can't continue to use a product that I paid for. I don't use it very much and it has done just fine for me. I certainly don't need to pay for the new version when this one is good enough and was working fine before. Please help! Thank you! 

I have been unable to figure out how to clear recently edited files.   Can someone help?   Windows 11 Home Edition. Thank you.

I have an old, reliable copy of Photoshop Elements 5.0 that does everything I need, and I've installed it on my new Windows 11 PC.  It works just fine but nags me to register it.  However, the registration process always gives a Registration Error.  Every time I start up Elements I have to click "Register Later" because it won't permit me to "Register Now."  Any ideas on how to get this registered?

I have Adobe Elements 2024, bought through the Windows Store. The issue is that Adobe Camera Raw is still at version 16.0, even though I've manually installed version 16.5 to get support for my new camera.

I am running Elements 2024 on Windows11. When I collapse Version Sets or Stack, then leave the Organiser, when I return to the Organiser, those Version Set and Stacks are now expanded. This did not happen in Elements 2023. To make things manageable, I have to go to all the Stacks and Version sets and collapse them again - but they will only stay that way for that session of the Organiser. It is a real nuisance. 

I have seen the other responses to similar question but I cannot make them work.  Without the instantaneous adjustment, editing takes a long time. Is there a "fix" or workaround for Elements . Thank you \\Dick

Liebe Leser ,bei PSE 2020 bis PSE2025 verschwindet bei mir  die Werkzeugleiste beim Bearbeiten von Bildern.Kann man sie irgendwie dauerhaft fixieren?Beim wählen von Ausschneiden bekomme ich immer einen Vorschlag,den ich aber nicht will und erst wegklicken muss. Wo läßt sich das abstellen ?Vielen DankBT

Anyone seen this before? Two of eight .nef shots taken within minutes of each other look like the .jpg below when I import them into PSE 2023 or open them in the Windows Photo App. They look fine in-camera (Nikon D7200), in Fast Stone image viewer, and as thembnails in WIndows File Explorer. This may be a clue - I tried to attach the .nef original in this post, but got this cryptic error message: "The attachment's dsc_1250.nef content type (image/nef) does not match its file extension and has been removed."

Bonjour.Quand je modifie une photo dans photoshop element, le jeu de version apparait en gris dans les vignettes et quand j'ouvre un élément du jeu de version, il est tout gris. Je ne peux ouvrir correctement que l'original. De plus quand je veux modifier une photo, je fais enregistrer sous, je valide et le message s'affiche avec un cadena: modification en cours.  les 2 problèmes sont surement liés. Cordialement

I have Photoshop Elements 6 on my Dell. I recently purchased a Mac and I'd like to know if I have to purchase an IOS version of Photoshop Elements to use on the Mac. My guess is yes. I know we're talking about different operating systems. I'm just wondering if Adobe would see my original Windows version of Photoshop Elements 6 as enough to allow me a free download of a current IOS version? Thanks. 

Trying to smooth skin, cirecle shows up but there is no sliding tool to adjust? What am I missing? Its a low resolution photo, 72 as Im just using it for a post. When the screen with the photo with circle comes up I can't back out of it. Have to shut my computer down.

Hallo,ich kann aus dem Fotoeditor heraus nicht mehr drucken. Der Fotoeditor findet beide Drucker nicht. Mit dem Organizer geht es aber.  Unter Windows 10 sind auch beide Drucker erreichbar.Woran kann das liegen?Bernd
