When importing files, Premiere incorrectly reports the duration as 12 hours, regardless of the file's actual duration.Steps to reproduce: 1. Import any file.Result: File duration is incorrectly determined as 12:00:00:00Expected: Duration should reflect the file's actual duration. Ich kann in der neuen Premiere Pro BETA Version den LUMETRI Filter nicht nutzen.Es passiert nichts am Bild wenn ich dort Änderungen mache. Auch bei der Ausgabe wird das ursprüngliche Bild gezeigt. Appears to be #FIXED in v23.4.0 build 33-----v23.4.0.27 Mac OS Monterrey 12.5Basic steps to reproduce the problem1. Create new project2. Import File3. Make Offline (leave on disk)4. Link Media5. Check (or uncheck) 'File Name' checkbox Expected result and actual result:Would expect the box to be ticked/unticked - however app instantly crashes when attempting to tick the box. (Works fine in v23.2)NB I tried resetting prefs / media cache / plugins etc, no effect - does reset the relink page but unchecking the file name has the same effect.* video capturing the issue - attached
There were a number of bugs in Lumentri scopes (scope wobbling, whole scope shiffted up from the bottom of the window) that were fixed so I know you are workign on it. But, what is happening now is the low end is shifted up 10 such that adjusting of the rgb curvs down (low end crushes at 10 vs. zero. I deliver all content in HDR and try to maximize the thre range of the signal when possible for underwater cinematography. This offset is frustrating. I was trying to get off the beta but 23.2 that went out had so many of these problems on Lumetri Scopes that I had to stay on the beta. I hope you can fix this one soon. It would seem to be a simple fix due to how obvious it is.
I noticed thatin the latest version of Premiere Pro the preferences settings are opening and closing very slow. steps, open a simple projectgoto edit>> preferencesNote how long it takes before the panel opens, it takes about 10 seconds on my system...
While editing a multicamera clip, 1:44:00 duration so it's quite long, i'm constantly getting an audio warning dialog box stating "audio not found at.... "timestamp and clip name." I have verified no audio issues for any clips or assets within the project so it seems to be a incorrect error in the first place. I will say the performance issue with the timeline on this version is exponentially better than the previous version 23.2 and for that i'll live with this mild inconvenience. Using the Beta software 23.4.0 - Build 17 for the purpose of trying out the edit text feature.Problem I'm having is when I search for text, the timeline jumps to the right place, but the text in the Transcipt window's search area does not move to the same place in the full transcription. I have to scroll down 3 hours of interview and find the highlighted text. This seems...not right. A text editor should jump to the search result, no? Am I doing something wrong? 🤷 Extra note: I do notice that one single word (not one I'm searching for) is staying highlighted in blue (?). No idea what that signifies or if that somehow is symptomatic of my problem.
Not sure if this is a bug or feature or rather a couple of bugs: First, where are transcriptions saved in this version - if I save the project and reopen it on the same machine the transcriptions load fine. If I copy the entire project folder onto another machine, the transcriptions are lost. So, I export the transcription with a view to opening it on the other machine. In the transcription options, Import is greyed out when there is no existing transcription. Worse that that, if I do a new transcription the import option then appears but not for the native Premiere transcription format, only a 'Corrected transcription' from a text file. If I do that then empty padding is added to each line of the transcription which whilst not directly affecting the playback or editing does seem a bit odd. Any suggestions firstly where the project working transcription files are actually being saved. In the cache folder maybe?
Had a clip that wasn't showing any colour management options under modify|interpret footage. Source clip had been consolidated via project manager (back in v13 so no colour management then, right?). So I did a quick test - and it seems that dnx consolidated media has interpret footage colour management greyed out + op1a xavc consolidates is interpreted as rec709 (even though it should have been slog3.cine3gamma). I *guess* it's taking the colour space from the sequence, rather than the individual clips? I also see that the consolidate burns in the colour transform IF the General|interpret log footage setting is checked and leaves it flat if it is unchecked. BUT it appears NOT to match the colour transform as applied in the timeline though (and it's not a simple 0-255/16-235 levels change either). Seems to me that project managemt consolidation should copy the source clips with the metadata. Will try and flesh this out with some screengrabs and s
2 of them W 11 build 23.4.13 IMO there are too many workspaces. If Adobe is not planning to reduce them, at least put them in alphabetical order and make the dividers more visible.
Steps to reproduce:1. Have Project window open on separate monitor2. Project has more bins or clips than can be seen in the window3. Twirl mouse wheel to scroll down to clips out of view. Nothing happens4. Reach for elevator bar - it's empty Result: ... Can't Scroll Bin. Have to move it to higher resolution screen to expand.Expected: ...Scroll bin BUT WAIT...Move Project window back over main screen with timeline (a second time - still undocked)Elevator bars reappearScroll wheel will scrollNow it's all fixed. What's up with that??? System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v23.3.0.48 OS: Windows v10.0.22621, RAM: 63.80 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 16
I just imported a 4k video set into a new project. and dropped them on the timeline. The timeline says 3840 X 2160, matching the recorded image. However, the effects control says 1920X1080 at 100% as the image scale. This happened in the last beta drop or the one before. Scaling to 50% only reduces the image size. This beta drop is now unusable. Please fix ASAP.
Half the time I go to create captions in the beta, the option is grayed out. It's making the application unearably drustrating to use. I feel like I've tried every workaround on line.
Well, I have found a few bugs that will 100% of the time crash premiere. If you are messing with the position of a clip, like moving a keyframe and autosave kicks in it crashes every time.If you his save at the same time it was going to autosave it crashes every time.If you are typing in the caption window when it autosaves it crashes every time. Also autosave doesn't work the same anymore. It apparently waits until there is a lull in your activity. So autosave even though you set it to every 3 minutes for instance wont happen for 10+ minutes. You may see the autosave window pop up, but if you hit a keystroke it cancels out. Frustrating....
I want to correct this by adding a missing you so it says: a little bit simple and then you can click with the dropdown or just type here This is me adding the missing word And this is the moment I want to switch to Descript and take anxiety pills. Additionally: I cannot fix the bug by backspacing the redundant a's, they just reappear in all sorts of different amounts.
I have just found this bug (in February 2023)...and how to reproduce it and how to fix it:How to reproduce it (in version 23.3.0 BETA Build 35 on Windows 10)1. Do a ctrl-alt drag of a clip to swap its place with another clip2. That's it. If you then try to drag/move any clips in the timeline, the pointer turns to a 🚫 "no way" symbol and the clips are immovable. It's still possibe to trim, copy, paste and all manner of other things, just forget about dragging a whole clip around. How to fix itAs someone suggested in this post, docking the timeline panel into another panel fixes it. You can then drag your timeline panel back to its original position and everything's great again.
when using ctrl+alt when moving a clip around timeline lockes up. Only solution is to restart program Windows 11, 23.3.0.33.
al utilizar la funcion de detección de edición de escena en un clip e insertar un corte de edicion, el programa se cierra completamente (siempre)
1. Version: 23.3.0 BETA (Build 35)2. Windows 10 Home Version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.2486)3. Steps to reproduce:- I use OBS to record an MKV file with 3 audio tracks (1 for voice, 1 for team chat, 1 for game audio), then remux it to an MP4 multi-track video file- I create a new project, and import the multi-track MP4 when prompted, selecting "auto transcript" option- (I would expect it to ask me which track to use, but it does not)- Auto transcript feature uses either a combination of audio tracks, or the game audio track (which is track 1) to attempt the transcript.4. Expected result and actual result:Expected: Two different audio transcriptions, one for each audio track (my voice, and my team's voices)Actual: No words (or barely a few words from game sound affects that sound word-like) get transcribed.
With Beta 23.3.0 lumetri scopes are broken, the panel does not show anything.
Search functuion not working in new tect editing feature. Can't populate the search bart with text. System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v23.3.0.33 OS: macOS v12.5.1, RAM: 128.00 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 20
Does not behave as expected. As soon as i try to use the roll edit the icon disappears. If I want to use the ripple trim the panel closes. 23.3.0.24 W11
Im having the same issue. The export has the bnlack frames in, but sometimes closing and reopenning premeier removes them, and then they are also removed in the export. The footage im using is recorded in a professional studio on a Black Magic URSA, by ex-BBC staffers. There isnt an issue in the footage (plays fine, black frames arent in there in the footage, arent there played back in VLC etc).I am using the Premiere Pro Beta 232.3.0.30 (but has occured in previous versions - including stable releases) I am editing on PC, Intel i9-10900K CPU @ 3.70GHz 3.70 GHz, 64GB RAM, Radeon RX 5700 graphics card, Windows 10 Pro.
I noticed that rendering audio takes a long if you have a long timeline but onlyexport a short part.Steps to reproimport a clip which contains 30 minutes audioset speed to 80% and set mantain pitchNow export the first 30 seconds of the timeline to a movie.Notice that ALL audio first needs to rendered before video export starts! now cut everything after 30 secTry to export again, see that the audio render time is very short now and export video starts fast!
