Premiere Elements

I purchased Premiere Elements 2020, and want to create a DVD menu that has a list of chapters all on one page.  I downloaded a couple of the existing templates, and they all seem to have only two buttons on the first page, "Play movie" and "scenes".  Then the "scenes" button links to another page, and there are a bunch of pages for all of the various scenes.  I saw one that looked like it had more buttons on the first page, but then, when I downloaded it, it was the same as the others.  Are there any menu templates that have this capability, or is there a way for me to create my own menu? Also, it would be nice if I could have the ability to return to the main menu automatically after a chapter plays.  Is there a way to do that? Thanks,Tom

I just built my new PC and I'm planning on buying PRE and I want to have the most recent version. ( old PC was running PRE2018 ) Since last years' release was in October; can we expect a new release within a couple of days?   [title edited by mod]

I purchased elements 21 in February of this year. I had to have my hard drive cleaned this week and I no longer have the info to re-install. Programs under the cloud reloaded fine. Other companies have helped me out to get programs back up and operating - am I out of luck with Adobe with Elements?

I put a title into a section. When I moved it to the correct position it appears there was a duplicate of it underneath. I cannot delete it. It does not appear in Project Assets and I cannot find it on any layer of the timeline. It is in the wrong place.Are there hidden layers?How is it even there if it is not an asset?!

Leider kommt bei mit diese Fehlermeldung immer wieder egal welche Projekteinstellungen ich benutze. Ich bin mittlerweile echt am verzweifeln und finde auch diesen Kundenservice von Adobe unterirdisch, da man nicht einmal eine Mail schicken kann. Ich bitte um Hilfe. Ich habe ein ganz normales MP4 Video mit der GoPro gefilmt.

I have used PE 15 for many years without any issues. Suddenly it crashes during rendering. I have used image stabilisation on many clips of a 15 minute video.

Hello, I have been using Adobe Premiere Elements and Element Organizer since decades and their 2021 version since almost a year. Since the last PrE 2021 update, dated 2021-08-27, labeled 2021.3, I face stong issues when working with projects developped a few month ago. The project loads correctly, ressources are well found, video clips appear correctly, as well as added titles, but I am unable to play the timeline using the usual SPACE bar. My machine works currently under Win 10 21H1 x64. It is based on: Intel Core i7-9800X CPU using 8 processors and 32 GB RAM, NVIDIA Quadro P4000 8GB, 4DP GPU, detected by PrE but not used for accelerating its operation, OS (C:/) SSD SATA 3, 1 TB drive, both for OS and for all installed softwares, including Adobe PrE and PsE, Video HD SATA 7200 rpm 4 TB drive, for all video clips and projects. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in solving this bug, which seems to be related to last Premiere Elements update, i.e. 2021.3 one. Thanks in advance,

Hey gang, I've been a Creative Cloud subscriber since 2014 since I mainly edit my own YT videos, edit photos in PS, and like recording music with Audition. However, it's 2021 and I realized I barely used CC the last two years for its hefty price and I decided to check out the more recent APE 2021 and PSE 2021.  It turns out they meet all my needs these days and I didn't need the CC battleship subscription since they have caught up to what I've been doing technically as a mere amateur YT guy.  Cool.   Sure, the Adobe Media encoder is the best but I don't need any other formats than for YT. Just wanted to share with the community.  I was with APE since version 2.0 in 2006 until I stopped with 9.0 in 2010 and then moved to the production suite with Pro.  I bought the new 2021 Elements suite and tested it for a night and half. Most recently I have installed (and registered) PRE 2021 on my beefy i9-9900K PC. The PC has fast storage components and a powerful graphics card, the nVidia GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER. The GPU is ideal for GPU support of rendering tasks. Under "General" settings I can see 2 lines:- "GPU has been detected" (it was my 2080 S)- "GPU will not be supported"What? That is more than annoying. After some googling, I found a reference to an Adobe PRE GPU beta test program that allows PRE users to test (so far) unsupported GPUs. I applied for participation as a beta tester and after entering my data I got an email with a link to a file: "PREAddGPUSupportUtility".I thought great - and clicked OPEN. And that's when the trouble starts. I should log into my MS account:"Sign in to xxx.com and we'll give you access immediately".But that didn't work, the message came:"That didn't work.We're sorry, but xxx.com can't be found in the adobe-my.sharepoint.com directory. Je viens de réinstaller mon ordinateur avec la dernière version de Windows 10 à ce jour (21H1). Je viens de télécharger via mon compte ADOBE le fichier d'installation : "PremiereElements_2019_LS31_win64". Au moment de l'installation j'ai le message suivant : "Mise à jour requise. Votre navigateur ou votre système d’exploitation n’est plus pris en charge. Vous devrez peut-être installer les dernières mises à jour de votre système d’exploitation." Ce que je ne comprend pas car cette application fonctionnée sur mon PC avant réinstallation de l'OS Windows 10. J'ai essayé quelques réglages, dans les config du système en désactivant tout les services et en désactivant tout au niveau du Démarrage, donc aucune application ne peut poser de problème pour l'installation. Je soupsonne ADOBE de me faire croire que la version 17 n'est plus compatible mais j'en doute totalement... Avez-vous une astuce pour réinstaller cette version, sans passer par un abonnement?

I recently went on a vacation to try my new Sony a1 and took videos in 8K XAVC HS 204mbps 24p 4:2:0 10bits. PE2020 allowed to open/edit half of the files and rendered to 4K. The others just failed with "generic error" message.  Also, a few files in 4K XAVC HS 200mbps 120p 4:2:2 10 bits didn't open either. Can someone please tell me why some open and others don't? Are these file formats -- 4K, 8K XAVC HS -- even supported in PE2020?Thank you for your input

verwende die gleichen Einstellungen. Leichte Ruckler und der Ton (Musik) leiert etwas bei Premiere 2021.Das Problem tretet bei gleichen Einstellungen / gleicher Rechner / gleicher Clipbei Premiere Elements 15 NICHT auf.Das Ruckeln fällt nur auf dem Fernseher auf. Es ist ein leichtes Nachziehen.

Hi everyone, I just download Premiere Elements 2021 to check it out.  The last version I used was 9.0.  Seems way better.  I currently subscribe to the full CC but I'm barely using it and wanting to see if I can manage with Prem-El 2021.   I've worked out most things but I can't nudge clips on the the timeline on my Windows 10 PC.  I know that nudging clips in Premiere Pro works and Audition but I can't get it to work with Elements.   All the other shortcuts work even even moving between markers with the Ctrl+Arrow key so I know my arrow keys work.   I've turned off "Snap" as well but any combination of keys does not move a clip.     Any ideas? Thanks ,  Peter

After importing my existing photo collection from a directory, the import seems successful first, but then no pictures appear in my library. Steps see screenshots attached (in German, sorry). No idea what I'm doing wrong. Of course, not all of the files can be imported, however I expect the remaining >6K photos to be imported.

Add subclip feature to Premiere Elements. Makes working with a very long much easier to work on. When I shoot an entire event; I would like to sub divide it into subclips like Premeire Pro.   Editting with only the abilty to edit with the entire media is very painful.  

Hey everyone, So when I start Adobe Premiere, I get a popup telling me I should update to the new version. Problem is, the install button doesn't do anything, nor the arrow down button for additional options, and the update forces the focus so not only can I not use the software, I can't even close it without using Ctrl-Alt-Del, nor access the website from the "Learn more" until I have shut down the software. This is a massive oversight and I would appreciate support to be able to use it again.   Thanks, Kevin.   Title edited... Moderator

When I drop a first clip (video and sound) into track 1, automatically three more sound tracks are generated and the sound part of this first clip occours also in these additionally generated sound tracks. This was not so in the past. What is the reason? How to avoid the generation of further additional sound tracks? Thanks for any advice.

Update Conflict while updateing (5%). Help suggests to shut down CEF Helper process, but process can't be killed, starts again immediately.

I'm having issues with the audio where I need to remove a chunk because it sounds like it's "skipping a beat". the audio is in sync with the video after I used HandBrake, but it looks like it caused this issue. any help is greatly appreciated!

I've already arranged all my still images I wish to use in this video to be shown for the exact duration I want. I now want to add pan & zoom to each still, but adding it changes the duration and I really don't want to manually set the panning time for each image. How can I fix this? I swear this has never been a problem before so something must have changed. All I want is for the pan and zoom effect to not change how long the still will be shown, as I have already set them in the timeline.

My question is whether there is a way to reduce the time it takes the text to start rolling, or is this something I must live with?I am using Adobe Premier Elements 2018 on a PC. I dragged the default roll template to the video track.I added 90 words of text to the template. When I read the 90 words on paper, it takes 35 seconds.If I do nothing to the template, it takes up 6 seconds on the timeline. The text rolls so fast that it is not possible to read the message. If I drag the right edge of the template to 36 seconds on the timeline, the text rolls at a pace that is comfortable to read.But there are 10 seconds of black with no text at the start of the video. Viewers will assume something is broken & move on without viewing my video.I would like to reduce the 10 seconds to 1 second or less. I have tried every conbination of settings on the Roll/Crawl Options. I will render my project, and almost all of it will render. However, small parts will not. When I try to render again, it plays from the beginning, acting like it ended rendering/had nothing to render.
