Premiere Elements

Adding media to my Project in Premier Elements 2019, it will not allow me to import MP4s saying they are either not supported or the required codec is not installed.  I have always imported MP4s. ???

I currently have Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 on my computer.  Is it worth upgrading to version 2021?  Any noteworthy features or just minor tweaks?  My computer is Windows 10 latest version.  Thanks for any help.  

Hello, I recently had to reinstall the OS on my iMac. It turns out that Premier Elements 18 (that I had bought) is no longer compatible with OS Catalina. Tried dowloading PE 2021 but it does not work with the license I have. Does this mean that what I paid for this software is lost? ThanksS.

I installed Premiere Elements in the end of 2018 and it worked fine. Then, a few months after it started freezing on PlayerMediaCore.prm but this was because I wasn't updating the graphic driver. But then, about 2 weeks ago, Premiere crashes each time I try to open it but it makes no crash report and it doesn't give me any message to say why it doesn't work. This time, it has stopped working after I updated the graphic driver so I installed the old one again but it didn't work. I've tried all the solutions given to solve this (DS.ForceCPUonly true false; doesn't work). So, I contacted the support, I ran a cleaner on my computer and installed an older version of Premiere Elements 2019 but it still doesn't open. To understand what happens, I looked into the logs of the software and in the Plugin Loading.log it says this :Loading C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements 2019\Plug-ins\Common\PlayerMediaCore.prmLoading from disk...There was an error loading C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adob

Just downloaded elements 2021 after using 2019 for a couple of years and the right click on selected clip don't bring up options eg fade in and out etc , any ideas anybody ? All's it brings up is small preview box as if left clicking on clip thanks guys mike 

This request for advice is primarily aimed at Steve & colleagues plus any Adobe folks who look in here. My current PC:Intel Core i3-4130 CPU @ 3.40 GHz, 8 GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 4400 & Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Sp1I edit HD videos & my current CPU only gives a benchmark value of 3,267 ("High-Mid Range") BUT I do use a SSD for both C: & D drives (adding the latter made a big difference).  I use PE 14.1 Givens for the new PC: 32 GB RAM, SSD 1TB for OS & users files, WIN10.  Two monitors will be attached.  4k work not excluded in the future.  I'd invest in PE 2021 even though I am happy with PE 14.1 (unfortunately I don't have the installation file although I do have the Serial number). My question concerns the CPU:  We are considering:1) AMD Ryzen 5 3400G, 4C/8T, 3.70-4.20GHz.  Benchmark value 9,4152) AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 6C/12T, 3.60-4.20GHz.  Benchmark value 17,857 Option (2) is slightly more expensive - als

Hi all,Just bought the latest Alements Premier software having had a 5 year old one on a old laptop and every time i go to use the pan and zoom tool, if it's a crowded picture it's making the clip 30 seconds long and adding half a dozen frames... it's driving me blooming mad!I think i have worked out that it's called auto analyzer but having watched a tutorial to turn it off, my version does not have the AutoAnalyzer tab in preferences so i can't seem to stop it!Any ideas?  Cheers in advance to anyone who can help

Is there a step that I am missing I export my video to AVCHD and I do not get a M2T file.

hello.  im trying to move already loaded and used clips between asset folders but it will only show the grab hand grabbing the clip.  the target folder shows a no-go symbol when i try and move. sry about no capital letters. im one handed 

This program was working flawlessly just about a month ago.  The only variable I can think of is I think there was some Windows 10 upgrade (my icons look different).  I'm running the 64-bit version  Any suggestions on a fix. I noticed that after the splash screen either it closes or looks like it going to the editing workspace and then closes.  I don't know if the Import Quicktime.prm has anything to do with it as it pauses there a few seconds before it closes but I don't see why all of sudden that would cause a problem when I haven't installed or uninstalled any software.

Every couple years I try Premiere Elements to see if it's improved... I'm baffled why mouse wheel zoom is still not implemented like most other decent NLEs (including Premiere Pro).

When I select any of the Graphics items, and then select "Download Now", the "Online content download" box comes up and then after a few seconds a box says "The download failed..." I cannot download any graphics. But I have a working Internet connection, and I'm signed into PrE with my account. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi,I dragged a WAV file into my timeline (Elements 2021) and there was no end of clip marker at its tail.  When I butted the next WAV file up against the end there was an audible "glitch" as clearly something was missing.  I've experienced the same thing many times in Premiere Pro.  When I put the same to WAV files back to back in a different audio editing program, they played seamlessly, nothing was missing and there was no glitch.  Any idea why this is and how I get around it?Thanks.

Hi all, I have some 1920x1080 video clips which I captured via Microsoft Game DVR. When I import them then premeire elements says they are 2560x1440 and the image is zoomed out with this green abomination at the bottum, etc. (see attached screenshot). I had the game resolution set to 2560x1440 when I was playing, but my Microsoft Game DVR is set to record at 1920x1080 and it does. When I view the recorded video file in Microsoft's Images program it looks fine. This issue deosn't happen with clips since I started using Nvidia Geforce Shadowplay to record. Is there a way I can fix this 'import resolution bug' in Premeire Elements besides having to zoom in all of my clips?

Hello everybody, I used a trial version of Adobe Premiere Elements 2021. When importing a video file and viewing it after importing, there are green lines in my preview. I use a brand new Asus Nitro 5 laptop with an Intel core i7 of the tenth generation, Windows 10 home and an Nvidea Gforce gtx 1660ti. Memory is 16 gb RAM.When I look at the settings, the program says that my video card is not supported. I realize that this problem is not unique to my situation, but as I am a beginner in editing I would like to have some explanation/help. I hope my English is understandable, I live in the Netherlands. Regards, Jan

I have a Zoom recording of a webinar that has a 3 second portion of video (black screen with panelist's name) that I need to overwrite with the video image that was immediately previous (opening slide that was holding for several seconds).  A 2nd panelist starts to talk during the 3 second video portion so I only want to overwrite the video portion of that 3 second gap, not audio.  In essence I want to extend the opening slide video image over the 3 seconds, without affecting the audio.  I don't know Premier Elements well but assume this is possible!  Thanks in advance.

I have 2 files that I use in most of my videos. Is there a way to mark these files as used often? So I don't have to search every time I make a video.

I re downloaded Premiere Elements 2020 for my MAC running Catalonia 10,15.7. I cleaned every thing out that i could find that was related to Elements. The Photo Editor is fine but the Video Editor will not open.  The rainbow wheel spins then stops. Any ideas as customer service has huge response times

Just bought PE 2021 and playback was all purple haze - Found this article that suggests updating the device driver and it worked.  Was not an easy process but got through it.  Here is the article. https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/kb/green-purple-streaks-premiere-pro.html You need to unzip the file and then in the upzip folder find igxpin.exe, and follow prompts. See example in attached file.

Hi all! I have used successfully this program  years, and a few months ago I could still use my Premiere Elements 11, but recently found that program doesn't start. No any warning or error messages on the screen. Main window of the program is appeared if click but there is flickering blue/black bar only if I try start videoeditor. Program doesn"t lunch if try to open any previously created PE project as well. I assume that it happened after last Windows update Ver:2004. Following steps were taken but nothing helped: 1. Deleting all Adobe soft from laptop.2. Updating of all driivers, especially video card. 3. Disabling antivirus program. 4. Full re-installing of program.Last and important: same situation if I install this PE11 to the another laptop!!!!! Looks like Adobe specially disabled the ability to use РЕ11.  Please help, I understand that this version of PE is pretty old but still suits my requirements.

Hi,I'm using Premiere Elements 15 that I bought about 6 months ago.  I've spent several hours on a project, only to find out that it used the wrong project settings when I created it.  It used 4k settings when I need 1080.  Is it possible to change the resolution settings of an existing project?  Looking at old forum posts from around 2010, you could edit the .prel file in Notepad or Wordpad and change the settings.  Now, it appears the project files are encrypted or something.  Is this possible currently?Thank you,Brandon
