just purchase the 2019 adobe element and upon downloading it when open the system is crashing and will not allow me to open the video editor. My computer specs are up to date and currently running with quad core, 16 gb, at 2.60ghz
i added a video clip with a audio and a second audio clip on the timeline. (lets say for convenience sake video clip with audio as 'A' and second audio clip as 'B'). I synchronized the audio of A and B. Next, I unlinked A and linked A and B together. After that, I tried cutting all the video & audio at once using the razor tool. However it seems that I cannot cut all of them (video and audio) at the same time, even though it is all linked. Is there anything I am doing wrong? (razor blade: I just clicked the razor blade symbol next to the timeline).
Hi together,we are opening this discussion for a customer of us and Premiere Elements 2018 is not supportet by Adobe itself...The customer want's to cut a video in 16:9 with PAL material recorded by a DV-cam on SD-Card. (File info below)Every single video viewed in varios players (Windows Media Player, Win10 Movie & TV, Media Player Classic, etc.) has the correct aspect ratio 16:9 with no bars.Is the video importet in Premiere Elements 2018 (version details see below) he get's a 16:9 project with a 4:3 and bars left and right (see screenshot below). We tried to manual set the project settings and "Force Selected Project Setting" - same result with every Setting...Kind RegardsMartin Ecker (SCHAUX eU)
I have a video where the narrator was not very close to the camera and its built-in mike. I don't understand the various audio filters. Can anyone suggest ways to lower the echo and "sweeten" the sound? I am running Premiere Elements 2018 on a Mac.Mary Lou
Adobe Premiere Elements 15 will not accept my videos taken with my Mavic 2 Pro. I have had it in MOV and MP4. With MOV mode its says "importer reports generic error". MP4 mode states this type of file not supported. Elements had no problems with my P3P . Help please..
Hi,Apologies for the newbie question but I’ve searched the forum and can’t find an answer to this. I’ve recorded footage in 100fps and want to use it as slow motion in a 25fps video (PAL), combined with other footage shot at 25fps. Before I put it into the timeline, I’d like to trim the footage and cut frames from both the start and the end of the clip, as I do with all footage to ensure the overall video has the appearance I like. When I trim 25fps footage and export (save) the clips this is fine, but when I trim the 100fps and attempt to export (save) the clips I run into trouble as Premiere Elements will only allow me to export (save) the clip at a maximum of 50fps (or 60fps if I was in a NTSC region).Surely videographers edit 100/120fps footage all the time and save the clips for use in single or multiple projects, don’t they? Could anyone please tell me how I can save these edited clips and retain the original frame rate? I know the 100fps footage is going to be slowed down by 4x
This is probably a dumb question, but new to PE 2019 (formerly used PE 2018). When I try to preview a video, the bottom of video screen, with the video controls (Previous Edit, Rewind, Step Back, Play/Pause, etc) are blocked by a wide horizontal bar that has "Undo", "Redo", "Organizer" and "Home Screen." Each has an icon. (Screenshot below)How do I get rid of the bottom bar that's blocking access to the video preview controls? Never had this problem with PE 2018, so I suspect it's a setting somewhere, but where? I've resized the preview window from "fit" to smaller and smaller magnifications to no effect. Help! 🙂
Was having problems with 2018 so I upgraded both Premier Elements and Photoshop to 2019.Do you need to convert files? What should I know?Recent projects not found, use load project, drop down box appears, says project 100% loaded, then sits there?2018 both software packages still reside on the computer?Short cuts on bottom of screen still take me to 2018.Input?
Does anyone know why I am not able to remove the watermark on the Adobe premier elements free trial. I have tried to go to the timeline and delete the rendered files, then tried to re-render the files which should have removed the watermark according to the guidance but the watermarks are still there, even after exporting the video the watermarks are still there. Does anyone know how to solve it or is it just an error,Thanks.[Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome][Moved... Premiere Elements is not part of Creative Cloud]
Problem: I want to synchronize an audio track with a video track, but the smallest increment you can move the audio track is one frame.I'm new to Premiere Elements, so please correct me if I'm wrong. I need to line up the waveforms on two audio tracks, but moving the track one frame at a time is not accurate enough. There doesn't seem to be any way to move the audio less than a frame. I know I can export the audio and synchronize it using third party software, but why should I have to? Why can't I move an audio track 15 or 20 milliseconds vs. one frame? It makes sense that a video track can only move one frame at a time, but audio sample rate is obviously significantly higher than video, and I'd like to be able move it at a higher resolution. Is there something I'm missing here, or is this limitation intentional? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
HalloI am desperate: I finished a long video, and used the motion reduction tool once during creation. Now I want to export the video, and each time the export window shows the error code (maybe not 100% correct words): " Motion reduction still running or not working correctly- Please wait until finished or fix the problem"I tried:- deleting the motion reduction from the film by using the bin symbol- undoing it with the respective symbol- redoing the motion reduction (now 3 times in different versions)- of course saving the file under a new name- opening the film on a different device with adobe premiere 2018Please help - I have no chance to export the file into a version I can use, now.Thank you!eva
Hi all,I'm getting back into making videos again and I have totally forgot the best settings for rendering. I MOSTLY record screen gameplay and sometimes import 4k files and 1080p files. I am just wanting the best custom settings as i do have a high end gaming pcKind Regards
Hello. I've recently installed Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 on my computer with the following Spec:Intel Core i5 3GHz i5-4430 CPU16 GB RAM64 bit Windows 10 HomeThe software is running correctly, however when I import an MP4 format file to it by using the Add media tab, the video will load into the timeline, but with completely wrong colouring and no sound.I've had a look through the forum and various youtube clips to try and find the solution, and none of the solutions have worked for me. Most of them seem to be concerned with another version of the software.Hope you can help. Many thanks in advance.
I am currently working on some Super 8 scans, which run 18 fps. I am using Elements version 11, an this version doesn't support output in that framerate.Does the new version (2019) support output for 18 fps? As I would like to obtain the original framerate for this material.
Yes, I purchased and registered this licensed program about 5 years ago, it's old, I get it, I just never used it, having been a licensed LR user for the stand along version and now the CC version along with PS. I just never used any program including this one to edit / create any videos. I just want to import a small AVI file from a dashboard video camera that recorded a MVA less then 12 hours ago I was witnessed too and want to extract a 40 second portion of the file to provide to a survivor who is in the hospital to clear him of any faults and to get help with medical bills. When I drag in the AVI file into the program to get started in the Editor, I get this what I believe is a false error message since even this older version running on Windows 10 pro, supports AVI files: "This type of file is not supported, or the required codec is not installed". Can anyone help please?

When using Premiere Elements 2019 I am using time stretch to shorten a clip (x2000 and x 4000%). When playing back in PE the audio works well at the sped up rate. After exporting there is no sound in the mp4 file. This seems to always happen with a high % time stretch. How do I correct this?
Hi,I'm running Windows 10 Pro and Adobe Premiere Elements 11, and I'm trying to import some tapes from my old Sony DCR-TRV38 camcorder.I'm connecting the camcorder via fire-wire, and my PC recognizes it when I plug it in. It asked how I wanted to capture video, and I selected Premiere Elements from the list of choices. But when I select DV Camcorder from the Add Media list, Premiere Elements just closes - no errors or any other type of message.Does anyone have any suggestions on resolving this issue, or know if there are any log files or anything that may help me track down the issue? Thanks for your help!
I've been having a problem since I installed Premiere Elements with certain clips. I don't know exactly how to describe it, the videos run fine normally, but when imported into Premiere Elements the video, but not the audio, suffers occasional glitches and hiccups. How would I be able to fix this?
First time here, tried to look for answer in old discussions, but no luck. So, ... please bear with me, thank you.My project's frame size is 1920x1080, Full HD 1080i 30. I have a footage in 3840x2160 format, I wanted the result to be in 1280x720 format. In order to make the composition look tighter, I chose to use the Crop effect to crop out the unneeded 66.7% of the frame. See picture below. (This shows when Zoom option is not checked. But in reality, the Zoom option is checked.)So, when exporting, I exported the project using "Device-->Computer-->HD 720", and set the quality to be highest. But the resulting picture quality is very blurry, as if it's been unsharpened a lot! See the picture below, the left side is from Adobe Premiere Elements 14, the right side is from another software.I tried to change the project setting to 4K format, but I can't find such a profile in New Project. The largest frame I can find is 1080i 30. So, my question is: How to crop frames from 2160p down
Le titre déroulant que l'on trouve présente une vitesse de déroulement trop rapide, impossible de lire le texte à cette vitesse. Comment ralentir la vitesse de déroulement ?

Okay Adobe world,Can someone please tell me why my photo slide show images shift and pan and zoom on parts of the photo I didn't originally set? Driving me nuts after hours of work and during playback the pan and zoom are all off line. Are you not able to pan and zoom while using a transition between shots? Do you need to set the pan and zoom before adding a transition?or Are you not suppose to user pand and zoom with transitions on the same image. Thanks,Astichntime
I shot a video of a wedding with my camera in portrait, when I edited the video and finished it now is in portrait style with the sides of the video black.
