Hi all - the Premiere Elements 15 system requirements say:Intel Core i7 required for XAVC-SDoes this mean that with the following Core i5 I will just be slow or that it will not process?Intel Core i5-6402P16Gb DDR4 @ 2133MHz250Gb SSDWin10 HomeI don't understand why a lack of hyperthreading would kill this dead rather than just making it run slower... and what does that mean as a requirement anyway? Required to read mp4? Required to output in mp4?I'd appreciate a quick reply as I still have the chance to change the system spec if I act quickly. Thank you so much!-Mike

I am trying to burn a DVD video I made on Premier Elements 13. Every time I do so, a message appears, it says that the burn was unsuccessful because there was an interruption and to go to a folder to burn my DVD. I tried that and the quality was so bad I couldn't even make out peoples faces. Is there a solution?

Moving to Premiere Elements 15 from Cyberlink Powerdirector. Bumbling along, but one thing I need to be able to do and can't figure it out:I have a jpg/bmp that I use as a watermark on some videos, but I need to adjust the size, location, and shape of where it overlays on the video depending on the video clip. I can see how to easily move the object, and I can grab a corner or side and resize it, but it will only resize proportionally. I.e. if I just want to make it wider but not taller it won't let me do that.In Powerdirector there was an option when modifying an object like this said "maintain aspect ratio" and I could unclick the box and do what I need to do. This is a bit of a deal killer if I can't do this simply. I assume I just don't know how.Thanks!

I'm trying to get the last version of Photoshop Elements in spanish for Mac.I guess this could be the 13th, which is available for downloading in adobe official web, but I don't know how to buy it.I just could find the last version (15th) to purchase...Please, some help

Just installed Premiere and Photoshop Elements 15. Installation completed successfully, but when I try to open either program a window pops up saying "Premiere Elements 15 has stopped working A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows is searching for a solution" . Then says "Windows has shut down the program."  My Operating System is Windows 10 Home. I also have Elements 14 installed on this computer and it works fine. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing -  same results

HiI hope two simple questions, to help me getting my Premiere Elements 15 set up well on my Dell i7 computer (running Windows 10 and Premiere Elements 15)1.  DrivesI have a C drive which is an 80% full SSD drive, and a D drive which is a large HDD drive at about 20% full.I also have an external backup drive.Because one of them is an SSD drive, what's the best settings for my folders when I install Premiere Elements?2.  Backing upI have come to the end of my first project which has used up loads of space on the SSD drive. I now want to be able to move the essential files ONTO my external drive, so that years later if needed, I could restore them to a computer and re-open a project complete with files, and do further editing and amendments.In the light of the previous question about drives, what are the essential folders (or files) I need to copy to my backup drive. I am trying to move my Adobe Premiere Elements 10 from an older to PC to my mac powerbook with macOS Sierra 10.12.1 and get errors when doing the install.  There was a link to a fix for this but I can get the fix program to run.  Do I have options?  Will I have to purchase a new version of Elements?  BTW, Photoshop Elements 10 installed 

Premier 15 on 64 bit Windows 10. When DVD is clicked the Premier immediately goes into non-response mode. All other selections work. The DVD works. It has the valid and latest driver. Other software uses it without problems. From looking through the forum, this appears to be a reasonably common problem but I don't see any answers. Is there one?I've alsoDVD  tried reinstalling but that did not work. I purchased this product less than a month ago and the product has been around for a few months. There should be no issue having Premier 15 using a DVD.

I recently obtained a copy of adobe Premiere elements 4 and adobe photoshop elements 6, though the disc for photoshop elements 6 is M.I.A... My question that I would ask is:Is there a way for me to upgrade adobe premiere elements 4 to the newest version or am I stuck with version 4? Also is it possible to obtain photoshop elements 6 without the disc? I can imagine yes due to digital copies etc. I do have the serial numbers for both these products.Thank you in advance,

I Downloaded the PE 15 free trial and opened a few of my old PE 13 projects in it. Now the trial is finished and Ive uninstalled it ( I believe), but I cant open any of the old projects I looked at. Do I have to purchase 15?

Howe do I find/get upgrade pricing for Adobe Premiere Elements?  I have version 13, wishing to upgrade to 15.  The website says upgrade pricing is available, but doesn't state where it can be found or how to do it.  All I see is the 69.99 sale for the full version.

I've recently exported two sports videos to facebook & twitter and the first 12 seconds are blurry...clears up after that. Approx 40 sec clips. Video is not blurry in Elements 14, only after I export and only for first 12 seconds?

Apologies for not RTFM and failing to find the answer up to now.I have shot a real estate video (4 hour round trip) but find that the framing on my device and the framing I wanted are different.This means I either have to go back and reshoot, with is time and weather dependant, neither of which are in my favour, or simply add a black stripe across the top of the video.Is there any way to do this?What I would ideally like is the ability to set the size and position (obviously) but also change either the size or opacity over time. The need for blotting out the top of the video arises halfway through the video, so if I could either get the size of the black bar across the top to grow (downwards) from one point to another, or if I could get the opacity to increase (from 0 to 100%), that would be great.So, in summary - the video needs to have a strip at the top of the movie made unseeable, halfway through the movie.Any (quick) help would be gratefully received.I have Elements 14

HiBefore I start the title to this thread is a very wild stab in the dark. Let me start from the top.I recently decided to progress on to Premiere Pro after using a (quite old!) version of elements for the last couple years. I paid for it and installed it only to find a series of issues including timeline play back not working properly and audio cutting out or never being present. After a few days of tinkering and getting nowhere I elect to cancel and go for the most modern version of elements thinking I'll have better luck.I'm having the same problems.Whilst I could have believed my computer lacks the clout to run the professional version, there's not a snow-days chance in hell it should struggle with Elements. The main issue seems to be when I start up my speakers start to give off a static like crackling noise. The audio will then fail to work, usually followed by a complete failure of video playback too. Anybody know why I'm getting distorted lines at the very bottom of my video conversions?  I'm converting video files that were captured with iMovie as Quicktime .mov files from miniDV using the Apple Intermediate Codec.  I've tried three different converters (Handbrake, ACDSee, and Movavi) and have tried outputing to mp4, avi, and mov and played with pretty much every parameter possible on all of the converters.  The converted files all have the same distorted/blurry lines at the very bottom.  Not a huge deal but it's driving me CRAZY!  I should note that if I open the original files on my Mac, Quicktime converts them on opening from AIC to Pro Res 422.  The converted files have no distortion and if I convert those Pro Res files to mp4 or whatever, they come out nice and clean.  What gives?Here's a screen grab to show you what I'm talking about.

Hello! I currently have an image size of 16.043 wide and 6.543 high and resolution is at 400 ppi. I want to print this for framing without cropping or adding a border, unless I can print it then cut that border away and be left with the image in one of the following: I have three frame size options - 8.5 x 14 - 11 x 17 - 12 x 16 - so is there any way to alter my image size to make it fit in one of these without a border, cropping or distortion? Or do I just need to give up and print it with a border, then cut a mat to cover the border? If I need to add a border, the paper sizes would be either 16 x 20 or 13 x 19 if I print at home. I want the image to fill as much of the available frame space as possible. Thanks for any input!

Just purchased Adobe Premier Elements 15 on the Adobe website. Downloading ..... the ......  software ...... is ..... so ..... slow. It's taking several hours! Why?

Hi - I used the "Narration"  function to record a narration track for a video. Unfortunately, I cannot hear the narration track when I play it back in the Quick or Expert setting. But when I move the Narration track to "Soundtrack" or "Audio 2" tracks in the timeline, I can hear my narration. I can't figure out why. It's as if the Narration track is somehow muted. Any suggestions? I amusing an LG PC running Windows 7.

Hey guys, I've been having some trouble recording narration in Premiere Elements 15. Rather, it's not with the actual recording; it's because I have a hard time viewing my script while getting it to record. If I tab out to the window that it's in after starting the recording, it instantly stops recording and everything in the recording window gets grayed out, persisting even when I tab back in. If I try to make the Premiere window smaller so I can see past it, it instantly snaps back to taking up the whole screen. I can drag it around by the top bar but if I try to shrink it it snaps back into position. This occurs whether the window is maximized or not. I can record now by dragging the window around so part of it's offscreen, but this seems like a very stupid issue that should have a solution, so any help would be appreciated.

This seems to be limited to mixing the Audio 1, Voice and Music tracks. Suppose I want to mix Audio 1, Audio 2 and Audio 3, can you do that?I notice that you can click on the name of the track in the tool and change it. If I try to change the tool for Voice to "Audio 2" (with a space between Audio and 2) it doesn't allow that and just reverts back to Voice. If I try to change it "Audio2" with no space, it allows this but just changes the name of the Voice track on the timeline to Audio2. So it doesn't allow modification of the Audio 2 track.Can you mix audio for arbitrary tracks?Thanks.
