Premiere Elements

Hi everyone.Does someone know if it's possible to use Premiere Elements 2018, which I have installed as a Demo will work with a license of a newer product?I can't run a newer Version of Elements due to my operating system on the mac. I need to work in 32 bits.Thanks!

I own premier elements 11 and loaded on new computer, photoshop works but video editor does not. 

I am at a loss. I am trying to make a new project. I have brought in a video of home movies that were digitized. My screen shows the attached. I don't know what this is.I don't think its coming from my original. Can anyone tell me what I'm seeing. thanks,steve

Hola. Tengo windows 11, con adobe premiere elements 2021. Mi procesador es AMD ryzen 5 5600g, mi tarjeta gráfica es  gigabyte Geforce RTX 2060 winforce oc 12 gb (recientemente comprada). Mi sorpresa es que Premiere me indica que mi tarjeta gráfica es incompatible, y cuando miro la lista de tarjetas compatibles, si figura la RTX 2060 como compatible. He instalado los últimos controladores Studio de la gráfica, y sigue indicando la incompatibilidad de la gráfica. Ayuda. Gracias.

I have been a Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements user for years, using the Scene Markers, Menus and writing to DVD.  When I upgraded to 2023 I had no idea they were removing these items.  Usually upgrades add features, not remove them without telling us.  I feel cheated.  Markers still show up but don't work.  I spent two weeks with customer support trying to resolve the issue before I was told they are gone and they still need to fix the display so it doesn't show up on the screen. So, I guess we can only export our creation and find another product to create scenes, menus, and write to disk?  Any product suggestiong for doing this?

How do I change the default font and font size for text in titles.  Every time I make a change and close the adjustments window, those changes are NOT saved the next time I click on text adjustments.

I'm trying to edit 4K videos shot with my iPhone and I keep getting the error, "This type of file is not supported, or the required codec is not installed." Doesn't this software support 4K videos? If that isn't the reason, is it because of the file type being .mov? I tried uninstalling and re-installing Quick Time for the codec to be recognized, I've tried converting the videos to .mp4 and .mkv with Handbrake and I still get the error message. Is there a way to get the right codec(s) for this to work?

On the Adobe site https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-elements/using/gpu-acceleration.html I found a list of graphics cards for PRE2022 and earlier versions including the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650.I work with PRE 2020 on a Windows 10 (64) PC , with Intel I7 3770K @ 3.5 GHz, 4 cores and with 16 Gb of memory.After exchanging my old graphics card AMD HD5700 series, memory 1 Gb (not supported by PRE2020) by an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650, 4 Gb memory, I had the same media clip of approx. 2.7 Gb re-exported in 4K quality (original also in 4K quality) with the same settings as when using the old video card.However, I don't see a notification under Preferences-> General or Project Settings-> General in PRE 2020 that it's now applying hardware acceleration or using my GPU intensively.While exporting the clip, the CPU is still under almost 100% load for 15 minutes for this 3.5-minute clip. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 was only used for about 7% during export (info Task Manager Performance_GPU). Whe

Once I have made the video composed of other videos and photos, about 3 photos dont show up on the finished MP4 file. They are in the same folder they were used to make the video and in Elements they appear in the sequence. They are from the same cameras used for other photos in the sequence and are of good quality. What is happening?

Is there a tutorial or some guidence on how to do the following. I am in Expert mode.  I have a sprinkler that is moving right to left.I want to have text that is written on a curve. I need to know how to shape that text in order to appear correctly The end result I also need help with. I want to reveal the text as the water goes across the screen. How do I accomplish this in Premiere Elements.I'm a former video editor, but mostly from the linear days of old. I understand the methods and cocepts. Just not the new stuff in the software like this.Thanks in advance for your help.

I have owned 4 versions of Adobe Premiere Elements (12, 14, 2020, and 2023) and they all crash and lag and done so on three different computers the last crashing on a Core i9-13900K, 64GB RAM, and 3060Ti.  The problem is with their software and with all those versions crashing and having performance issues when editing, I would say Adobe has not bothered or cared to address those core issues with their software.  I can edit perfectly in other applications like Davinci Resolve with none of those issues.   I cannot say I will buy another version of Adobe's software again.  I thought maybe this new version would address the crashing problems but nope.   It is by all practicable purposes, unusable.

I have a iPhone 14 Plus and I can't import photos to Premier Elements.  My XS iphone had no problem.

Hello All,Editing videos would be a bit more flexible if we could use our regular mouse wheel to move the timeline Left/Right and also for Zoom In/Out. Is this feature there and I am missing it somehow? Please suggest. There are special mouse out there who can serve the purpose, but I am talking about regular wheel mouse.

Can I open .prproj (Premier Pro) files in Premier elements?

In complex projects I often need to reorganise my clips/titles in the timeline. Often drag and drop is not possible. But it should be easy by simple cut-paste. But I've not been able to find out how to choose onto which track the element is pasted.I cannot believe there is no way to choose in PE. Any ideas ?

Hello, I am trying to export clips (>export >devices >share work area bar only), but the clips render by default and the exported clips take a long time to export and result in HUGE files.  The file size is my biggest concern as I will quickly use up my disk space, and it seems so unnecessay as I haven't added text or special effects.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank-you..

Hi, I would like to insert the date and time of the video clips. Is this possible with Adobe Premiere Elements?

I have downloaded Photoshop and Premiere and Organizer 2023 on my Mac.It seems fine. When I try to connect med GoPro11 camera via USB and should start to download the files I get enerror message, se attachment. I have tried with very short films and that seems to work, but if the films arelika 15 minutes then it´s stop.I have tried to change battery and memory card in the camera but it is still the same error.My Mac is 10 years old, but upgraded with the latest mac os.Have you encounterd this error? Suggestions for solving the problem.BR/Patrik

Is there a way to organize images in Photoshop Organizer so you can import them in the same order to Premiere Elements.  I can see where you can order images in Organizer, but when using Add Media in Premiere Elements, the Organizer order is not viewable or presented as a sort option.  The lack of presorting is frustrating, expecially when working with a large set of images.  I might be missing something and am hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

There is no GPU acceleration with newest NVIDA drivers (536.99 Studio version)GPU acceleration works with old drivers (461.92), so hardware is not a problem here.  Any idea? I want to use new drivers for reasons not related to PE Thanks 

My MSI notebook has an i7-11800H processor and a nvidea RTX3070 graphics card running Windows 10. Does anyone know if Adobe Premiere Elements 2021 supports rendering with the RTX3070 ?
