I must be missing something or maybe it got corrupted.Gary

I put this in a video clip now I want to edit it. I can't seem to edit it becausae all I can select is the main image instead of the text I installed in there.  So I was going to install a new one but now I cannot find where I got it from. It is an image of a 57 Chevy and a juke box.

I am on a tight deadline and editing a video with many clips -- all video. The first time I tried a pan/zoom on a short video clip (:20)  it caused the timeline to stop playing. I tried multiple times and tried deleting the clip and starting over, and it always causes the timeline play button to stop working. I am able to manually move the timeline play head (blue down arrow thingy) so the program is not crashed. I have read many posts from previous versions of PE but didn't find a solution to try. I tried rendering but it did not change. I have to close and reopen the program. Would appreciate some suggestions! Pan and Zoom should work on video as well as still images, correct? Steve's demos seem to all use a still image so wanted to rule that out first. Next, I will try pan/zoom using Keyframe, but would like to know if there is an issue with the simple pan and zoom feature, or if I am missing something. Thanks!My system: PE 2023 on a desktop running Win 10, AMD R

I use Premiere Elements ver 21 on Windows. When I drag a music file from Project Assets to the Music Track a blank space gets added above on the Video 1 Track the same size as the music I added.How can I prevent this?Thanks,Sharon

Hi.I have some clips that I had to splice together.  Of course they are all a bit off from each other.  I had to zoom this one in, rotate that one, slide one to the side a bit, etc.  Now that I got them all in line so the subject matter is centered, how can I then crop the whole thing to cut off the top/bottom/side since things don't like up any more?I figured I could export the video and then edit that video and crop it, but is there a way to do the crop within the project itself?Thanks.

Hi all,I have Adobe Premiere Elements 2023, and I have a 7h long movie I am trying to export into 1080p MP4 format. Throughout the movie there are overlayed mp3s which show and play fine in the timeline. Upon completion of the export and playing the file, none of the mp3 music has come through, but normal audio from any segments where it was left in is still there, as is any music scores I have added from within Premiere (eg: Afternoon Sun track, etc). I have tested playing the mp4 in VLC and via Plex, it's definitely not there (and obviously the giveaway that something has gone wrong is that other audio is present). For the export preset I have chosen TV, HD/1080p 16:9 in High quality using H.264. The automatic audio selection is AAC which I haven't touched. Any suggestions? Thanks!

working with a client who's just learning premiere elements 2023 on a new macstudio with the idea that I'll help him via zoom and then do the final finish in Premiere pro 2023...  I tested the workflow on a windows machine, and I was able to open the .prel in Premiere pro 2023.  Now that we're deep into the editing I figured I'd see if his .prel would open on my new macstudio (the client's working on an identical mac).  Gave me this message when I tried to open it...  But booted up the windows machine and was able to open it and save it as a premiere pro project and then bring that over to the mac...  a royal pain.  Am I missing something?  Luckily I still have the windows machine...  

Hello, I am trying to import video clips from my iPhone into Premiere Elements 2023 (v21.0). When I try, I get the following error:Unable to import mediaYour system needs to be configured to import HEVC or HEIF type of media. Click on 'Learn more' to know how to enable these formats for import. I think I have tried pretty much all the online how-to's so now I'm stuck. Here is all the info so far: - Computer is a recent model Windows 11 laptop with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti- Clip is a .MOV file taken on an iPhone, it is (only) 1920x1080 (standard HD) @ 30 FPS- Phone is an iPhone 13 Pro running the latest software.- I had previously (99.9% sure) had the Microsoft HEVC extensions installed. .MOV files played fine on the computer. However I could not find any reference to the HEVC codec or MS HEVC extensions on the laptop so, to be sure, I downloaded and installed the extensions from the Store today - see screenshot.- I followed the Adobe help text at this link:&nbs

I have just downloaded Elements 2023; how can I open my existing projects that I did under Elements 2021 ( version 19)?

I have been onto Adobe support but they dont have a solution. I am trying to add narration, the speaker is feeding back with my own voice a short time after I speak. I bought a new Rode mic on USB but although slightly better, the speakers are still feeding back. I have turned volume right down and also speakers off but it makes no difference. I am no expert but surely the Mute Audio whilst recording button should do the job, Adobe say they dont control the speakers in the app. Windows 10 Dell XPS. Premier Elements 2020.

I am exporting a video that has both 4k and 1080p videoclips in it. I am then going to upload to YouTube (and Rumble). Apparently the project was automatically set to 1080p when I started it, because that is the recommended setting when I go to export. I figure it's impossible, but I would *like* to not downgrade the 4k clips...? Any advice on what I should do to achieve optimum video quality?

Hello, I recently bought 2 HP Z Book Windows 11 computers, and installed Premiere Elements 2023.  One computer runs Premiere Elements with no problems.  The other computer allows Premiere Elements to work for a while, then gives the following error message:...................  C:\Program Files\Adobe Premiere Elements 2023\dvascripting.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.Error status 0xc0e9000a. ................  This has happened twice.  The first time, I uninstalled PE 2023, and reinstalled it.  The problem has occurred again.  Would appreciate any help solving this.  I have used PE 2018 with Windows 10 computers, and did not have this problem.  Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hello,Thank you for your detailed reply. Unfortunately, your assumption that I amreferring to Adobe Premiere Pro was incorrect. I am referring to AdobePremiere Elements. I have lived all my editing life using PremiereElements, so it never occurred to me that my questions on this issue wouldbe interpreted as being for Premiere Pro. Had that occurred to me, Icertainly would have been more specific in describing my product.So here we are. hello, i use Premiere Elements 2022 with mac M1 and i can´t set in- or out-points shortcut I or O is not working. Could you help me please? 

Adobe Premiere had been working fine for me for a good number of years. Today I got a warning that my system had been running low on memory, after deleting some files I tried reloading Premiere and it refused to start. I tried every solution including deleting the cache files (1 TB worth!) and eventually I managed to get to the stage where Premiere was working. HOWEVER, when I tried to open up one of my pre-existing files it asks me to locate a file that no longer exists. When I click skip or mark as offline the system immediately crashes.

Hi All - Does this not work? - I just got this and wanted to use it on my M1 laptop with a larger screen having the time line and main program on one monitor and the preview of what Im working on - on the second one...Does this not work? - or is there a work around? Thanks

I've started to use PE 15 on my Windows 10 PC. It seems to do what I want.  What are the most significant changes between 15 and 2023? Is rendering faster? Am I missing some wonderful new features? Thanks, Jim

Hi, recently when I use Premier Elements 2023 video editor I've had an issue that any photos or video turn a really green shade when I import them, and they stay like that meaning the exported video has a very green shade too making it unusable. Any ideas what might be causing this and how it can be fixed? I think it might be to do with colour management but not sure how to fix. Thanks, Graham 

Hello Adobe Community, I have been using Adobe elements 22 for about 6 months now to make videos and have had few issues. Tonight I have found a problem I cannot seem to find a solution for. When trying to view/edit video from my GoPro 10, any videos I have shot in 240fps, 2.7k for ultra-slow-mo crash the program. Elements lets me put the video on the timeline(about 50% of the time, other 50%, crash) (expert mode) and play it, however if I try to do ANYTHING else it freezes the whole program and it crashes.  I have the appropriate HVEC codecs purchased from the MSFT store, and edit other gopro footage without an issue.  My PC is brand new, with an i7 and NVIDIA GTX 4070ti, and I have had no other issues with other 4k footage. Can anyone please help!? Thanks. 

I'm something of an expert in premiere pro but helping a client do some preliminary work on a project in premiere elements.    What he wants to do is rearrange the video only clips in the timeline without overwriting anything and without creating a gap in the music track...  The simplest way I can figure out to do this is to drag (on a mac) while holding the option key, which moves the clip inbetween 2 clips but leaves a gap where the clip was previously.  Not a big deal to just control click on the gap "delete and close gap"  but wondering if there's a simpler way to do this...   Could do a cut and paste insert but that creates a gap in the music...  If there's a way to lock the audio track, that would work...  but doesn't seem possible..   Thanks.    

Can someone please tell me, why this don´t want to export my video? It stucked in 00:05 sec to done its job. I updated everything I could, but it still doesn´t work. I spend more than 3 hours to solve this problem, but nothing helped. I used this software for more than 20 videos and it worked, but now... nothing. I don´t want to export video in 4K, I tried also quick export in low quality - nothing. Crashed or stopped. And no, I don´t have old  comp. Is imported videos corrupted? NO! Is it in different formats? Well yes, some of them is from phone, but is this something, that PE is not able to solve with?    [Profanity removed by moderator]

I cannot export export to dvd files on my c: drive with PE 2023.  Created folder in root of C: with full permissions.  Have over 1.5 TB of space on C: available.  When attempting I get the message in the screenshot below:I am able to gen dvd files using 2019. Any help would be appreciated.  My laptop does not have an internal DVD drive and I do not seem to have an external that matches the listed approved drives.  

Hi all. I have downloaded videos from my phone to my laptop, then from laptop to Premier Elements 10, but the videos are upside down. How do i rotate them to the right way up? Thanks.
