Premiere Elements

I'm adding /inserting photos and effects to the timeline. when I do the audio track and the music track splits and I can't detach them from the timeline with photos. the delete and close gap is greyed out. I've tried grouping and ungrouping in case the audio and photos are connected somehow. Please can someone help? I feel sure there is something simple I can do! thanks! attached pictures show everything is good, then a picture after I've inserted an image - the audio splits...have to admit I'm going crazy here !!

When I record a narration using Elements 11 I can hear my voice, delayed by a second or two, through the headphones.  I have tried muting the audio have checked all of the levels and setting both in elements and my sound card and this still happens.  If I try recording with anything else, such as windows sound recorder, this does not happen.Is there a setting I am missing somewhere as it is very distracting to hear yourself on a delay and makes the narration feature unusable.

Hi, a couple of months ago I upgraded from PSE '14 to '22. Used only the Organizer and Photoshop so far, everything works. Now I tried to edit a video and the welcome screen just shows a black screen. I googled the problem and tried a host of suggested solutions, to no avail. Can anyone help? Much appreciated! Some details:- the video is an MP4 from my Canon R6 camera, 4K/50fps. The manual says the camera records in either H.264 AVC or H.265 HVEC. Both should be compatible with PSE I guess- my operating system is Windows 10 and meets all the system requirements for PSE 2022- I have deleted all files from the Media cache I thought it could just be that 4K/50fps is a little too heavy for my (relatively) old HP laptop, so I imported another MP4 video which is just Full HD/25fps: same black screen. Tried a 4K video from my IPhone X: same.Here's two remarkable things:1. I can play all of the above mentioned videos in Elements Organizer without any problems2. When I import the 4K/5

I highlighted a clip --- hit Control H to rename the clip, but nothing happens. What might I be doing wrong?

I shot 20 distinct video clips of 2 minutes each — all in one video file. I've edited them and left space between them. The obvious export option is to delete all but one, export that clip, undo the deletion, then do the same for each clip. UGH. Is there a better way? Please? 🙂

Hallo, ich benutze  Adobe Premiere Elements 2023 unter Windows 11 zum ersten mal und bin noch dabei zu testen. Wenn ich nun einen Film von der Videokamera Canon HV20 über Firewire laden möchte und ich den Videoeditor starte, Medien hinzufügen auswähle und Videos von Kameras und Geräten anklicke ist die Quelle ausgegraut und ich kann nichts aswählen. Wenn ich das gleiche mit meinem alten Magix Video easy mache funktioniert es und ich kann den Film auf PC speichern. Sollte ich mal Premiere kaufen sollte diese Funktion aber gehen. Kann man da noch was einstellen, da ja zumindest die Funktion da ist sollte es ja auch gehen.

Ich möchte eine Animation mit Premiere Elements 2021 exportieren.   Egal, welchen Codec ich nehme, ich habe immer Treppchen im Bild. Vor allem am Boden. Wie schaffe ich es, das es gar nicht zu Treppchen kommt ?   Zusammengestellt habe ich es mit Cinema 4d und 720/576. In der Vorschau in Premiere ist noch alles Glatt, aber sobald ich es in Premiere exportiere habe ich grobe Treppchen.

About 1/2 of my clips are now 1/4 size.  The preview window shows the video in the top left 1/4 with the rest of the screen filled with lines extending from the 1/4 size video. 

Recently bought Premier Photoshop & Elements bundle 2023.  Two files in each zip.  PhotoshopElements2023MAC zip file had two dmg files - PhotoshopElements_2023_MacARMESD and PhotoshopElements_2023_MacIntelESD.  Which one is correct to be installed for Mac Air M1?  Thanks

Dit type bestand wordt niet ondersteund of de vereiste codec is niet geinstalleerd. Het zijn 3 JPG fotoos. Wat is er mis. 

I've been using Photoshop and Premiere Elements 2020 but only the basics.I'd like to make better use of it by truly learning it this round.Are there any tutorials here or out there that you recommend?

Warum wird Premiere Elements 14 trotz gültiger Seriennummer nach 7 Tagen abgeschaltet und ist nicht mehr aktivierbar?

Every year Adobe releases an update of Premiere Elements and I feel there is no improvement in terms of performance. Like many Adobe Products (e.g. Acrobat Pro DC), Premiere Elements' performance also decrease. This is my machine -...more bellow This is a file's property - Take a look at this timeline So 2 files like that is on the timeline and I just applied 1 step of exposure to both of them. When I Turn off Video Track 2, it can play the video. But when I turn on Track 2, it barely able to play the video smoothly. To be honest it is really really bad. Not sure what is wrong with Adobe team, but when other application releases any update, they basically improves performance dramatically. Unfortunately I do not see that here. I paid for removing some effects and basic UI changes! Seriously!! Is there anyone who reads and take these seriously? More on my workstation ------------------- System Information -----------------

I record some clips with Shadowplay and I tried the option, that I have 2 Audiofiles in the end: Game Audio and Mic Audio. So I can adjust both of them seperately. My problem now is: When I load the file into Premiere Elements, I only get still 1 Audiofile, but you see 2 different lines in it. When I play it in the program, I only here my partner and the game sounds, but not my mic. https://youtu.be/A-aBC5I_vxA Does anybody know of that problem? Hallo,ich habe Photosop Elements und Premiere Elements 2021.Wenn ich eine Diashow erstellen will, fehlen bei beiden Programmen die Untertitel , die ich auf den Fotos geschrieben habe.Ist das normal oder habe ich etwas falsch gemacht?Ich möchte in der Diashow die Fotos mit den Untertiteln. GrußReinhard (wollnik07) 

I have an older but still capable i5-2500k based computer with integrated HD3000 graphics.  I have verified that I have the latest drivers installed.  Running Windows 10. As soon as I click on Export/Share, I get a spinning circle that never stops until the program asks if I want to wait or close. I've tried the simplist 1-clip proect and it still does this.  PE 2020 on the same computer does not hang and I'm able to export normally.  All other features seem to work OK. I hate to think I just bought a program that won't work on my computer.  BTW, I tried opening a 2023 project in 2020 but that gives an error that I assume is based on data incompatibility. TIA. 

A very important feature is volume level adjustment through keyframe timeline. It feels like that went missing. When I take a audio track, mark different segments with keyframe and set volume levels, it do not work. Funny part is, 2 volume option turns up when you right click on the track -Volume level control is a very important feature and this went missing! I am not sure what is wrong with Adobe Premiere Elements team, but they are not doing good. Sorry for the criticism but you really need to work hard to make things right. 

I shoot video using Akaso v50x and transfer to my laptop as MP4.  Video plays fine in Windows Media Player.  When I import into Premiere Elements 2022, the audio now is 2x speed, while the video is fine.  Sounds like the chipmunks!  If I unlink audio and video, then set audio Time Stretch to 50%, the audio plays correctly, but I have to manually move the video track and eyeball it to match up with the audio.  And of course, the audio track now needs to be trimmed becuase it is 2x longer than it should be, the second half of the track being silence.  Is this a bug?  Am I importing wrong?  Is there a better workaround than what I have described?Windows 1112th Gen i764-bit OS

Hallo!Ich arbeite seit langem mit Premier Elements 11 um aus Urlaubsbildern ein Video mit Musik erstellen.Seit dem Update auf Windows 10 startet Premier Elements allderdings nicht mehr. Es erscheint kurz die Programminfo wie bei jedem Programmstart aber mehr tut sich dann nicht.Ich hoffe mir kann jemand helfen, die ich für den aktuellen Urlaub mit der Familie gern wieder ein Video erstellen möchte. 

I'm planning a computer upgrade using an Intel i9-13900K. Currently I import and work on 4K videos from my Canon 5D Mark 4 but export these to 1820 x 1080 set to the highest quality. How much DDR5 RAM should I get, 32GB or 64GB? My current video card is a Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 2 GB. Would it be advantageous to upgrade this? (of course, I can try out my current GPU with the new set up brfore deciding whether to upgrade it.) If I ever decide to upgrade to Premiere Pro, would this change your suggestions?

Hi   while I was working on some clips I couldnt apply any longer basic effects or adjustments, like Brightness. Its just gone. I made a short clip to show what I mean:   https://youtu.be/BBSJkYpsAuw   I reinstalled it, but it seems that the program just staood the same, as before. What can I do? Or how can I fully reinstall it? 

I know that there are already threads for it but I want to highlight this problem again. Win11 Pro with HEVC extension installed. The media cash files deleted as recommended in the help center.No success, files cannot be imported and in Organizer and in Premiere Elements a popup still tells that my system must be prepared for HEVC/HEIF-media. I have then started a chat with Adobe support and I granted access to the Adobe support engineer.The support engineer changed the permition of the HEVC extension files on my computer to everyone.No improvements, still the same issue. The support engineer generated then a new test user on my computer to have a fresh environment.For this new user the same behaviour. No improvements, still the same issue. After that the support engineer simply closed the session and left me alone without any further instruction, next steps or even a sorry, good-by. The chat window is still connected to Adobe but no one wants to pick it up. No

I have an installation file from 2018 which is 32 bit. Now I want to install it on my new MacBook. Now I get the error message that I need a 64 bit install version.Does this 64 bit version exist or do I have to buy a new license?

I moved some files around and now under the People Heading in my catalog a number of the names have no pictures and when I click on them nothing comes up.   I am running the latest version (2023) of Elements.  

Just installed PSE 2023 and cannot import a S22 Ultra HEVC MP4 file into Orgainzer.  I get the message:Running WIndows 11.  I have the MS HEIF & HEVC add ons installed.The funny thing is I can pull the file into Premiere Elements and edit the file, but Organizer rejects the file.Any help is appreciated on getting Organizer to recognize the file
