Premiere Elements

I'm ugrading to a new/better/faster laptop so my editing/rendering in PE won't be so slow.  The specs here seem overly simplistic/generic: https://www.adobe.com/products/premiere-elements/tech-specs.html Can someone recommend some general guidelines for the optimal laptop hardware specs for PE (minimum processor speed, graphics, etc.)?

PE 2021 on a Windows 10 PC. I'm trying to follow the instructions "Create cool Time Remapping effects"as described on page #108 onwards of Steve's book for PE 2021. I get as far as step 5 "Select a Time Remapping speed using the big slider".Where the ***** is that big slider?  I just don't see it (unfortunately the book showspictures of every stage EXCEPT this big slider)... The online Users Guide is similar (no picture of the slider).

Bonjour, lorsque j'exporte mon film (différents essais même l'export vers Youtube), le rendu me supprime des images et m'offre des images fantômes qui ne sont pas sur la Time Line (mais qui sont dans les rushes). ???? Je dirais même ????? 3 heures à chercher des explications et surtout une solution. Pas trouvée. Y aurait-il un magicien ou une magicienne parmi vous ?

Hello all. I have an NVIDIA GTX 1660 SUPER display adapter (which is one of the supported graphics cards) but in Adobe Premiere settings it says GPU acceleration is not supported. I am running Windows 10 Home, Premiere Elements 2021, NVIDIA GTX 1660 SUPER with driver version 30.0.14.9709 dated 11/26/2021. I deliberatley chose this computer because it came with a GPU card that was listed by Adobe as supporting GPU acceleration. Any ideas? Thank you.

Hello! Everything I can find online says that NVENC support was added to Premiere in 2020, but it's very possible I missed something and it actually isn't supported by Premiere Elements. Please let me know if this is the case. I have an i7-9700k and an RTX 3080, on Windows 11, but hardware encoding is not an option when I go to export (File -> Export & Share -> Devices -> Custom -> Advanced Settings -> H.264). My GPU is specifically listed in the supported GPU lists by Adobe, my NVIDIA drivers are up to date, and this is a fresh install of Elements 2022, so I don't see any reason why the software/hardware encoding dropdown would be greyed out. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, as I would like to not have to wait 20 minutes for a 4 minute video to encode lol. Thanks!

Despues de desinstalar en dos ocasiones el programa adobe premiere elements, porque me daba problemas el ordenador, he inetentado instalarlo en varias ocasiones y me da, error 199. No encuentro la forma de instalarlo ni de abrirlo por ninguna parte.La batería del ordenador no carga correctamente. La voy a cambiar en estos días.Hay alguna forma de instalarlo correctamente o de abrirlo.Gracias.

On part of my movie, my subject is situated too close to the left border. And when she sways her head to her left (my right), part of her just gets blocked off. The green screened border background pic behind her is not blocked out. So, when I try to move her to her right (my left), the borders stay the same, so that she is still close to that blue border. Is there any way to move my subject within the borders so that only the subject moves and not the blue border. And other times when I try to move the border, it creates a zoom effect, which I don't want either. Hope that's clear. I just want to move her more toward the center so that when we sways 1 way or another, she doesn't get cut off. I should add that the way I filmed her, I did have to rotate her 90 degrees to the left in order to have her appear upright in my movie frames.Thanks.LNovik

Any DAW or audio or video editing software I've used, I just set a beginning marker and and end marker on the timeline, then click an icon that looks like a loop. During playback, the app will keep looping the designated section. How do I do this in Premiere Elements 15? Thank you,.

PE 2021 on a Windows PC desktop... Is it possible to somehow "save" a combination of Font, Size, Colour etc for repeated usefor example in a "Default Text"?

I have a .WMV finished file from someone created by who knows what. There a number of text screens that that start small and zoom in to enlarge text but the timeframe used is too fast to read easily. Is there a technique to slow down that zoom so longer time to read?

I have setup a DVD menu using the stock Premiere Elements templates.  However, I can't figure out how to edit the area that says "Movie Title Here".  I have placed two scene markers and will test those soon.  But, how do I edit the text field? Also, can I increase the timing on the main menu audio before it loops back to the beginning?

Is there a way to contact a person (chat or otherwise) in Adobe Support? There are currently no options.Running Ver 18 on Windows 10. I am attempting to add a video that needs to be forced to horizontal orientation. I have a MacBook pro with OS High Sierra 10.13.6. I just downloaded Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 and tried to edit videos that I recorded using Quicktime, so they are .mov files. When I import them, it shows up as audio only.  I checked the permissions, cleared my cache, changed the file name to .mp4 and a few others and tried a couple other troubleshooting tips I came across. All to no avail. Does anyone know why this is happening and have a solution?

Bought Prem Elements and Photoshop Elements via download from Amazon uk, Premiere Elements will not start,I click on Video Editor, the box saying"Loading Adobe Premiere Elements Editor Workspace" and nothing happens 

I have two different YouTube accounts, one ofr business, one personal. When i click to export my video to YouTube, it defaults to sedning it to my persinal account. How do I change that so it exports it to my business account? Thanks!

Hello, I am using Premiere Elements 2022 and am trying to create portrait orientation videos out of drone footage that is in landscape format.  I select New>Project>Portrait 9:16 1080p 30 fps, but when I drag my video to meet the margins of the new format, it diminishes the quality of my video.  I can't figure out how to keep the quality of my video the same in the new format.  Can anyone help?  Thanks.

I have several tracks in my song. I want to sometimes have a lower track appear on screen, and other times have the upper track appear. So, I know to first use the scissors tool to put a separation, ie, in the upper track at the point where I want to see the lower track. However, I'd rather not delete that segment of the upper track yet, since I may want to change the timing in the future. Is there a way to just silence or turn off a part of a track. I know you can silence the whole track at the left of each track, but, as I said, I only want to quiet one segment of a track at a time. I guess I could use more and more tracks for each segment, but I already have a bunch of tracks.Hope that's clear. I could reword it if needed.LNovik

Hello everyone. I am looking for advice on improving my workflow and hardware of a new PC. Hopefully the many experts here can set me in the right direction. Thank you in advance. I use Premiere Elements 2021 to process videos of my kid's soccer games. The videos are just for parents (“Look at Jenny’s goal” that sort of things). Also my daughter goes through them to see how she can improve. Games are recorded on my phone. I set it up at one corner of the field at about 7.5 feet high, pointing slightly downward. The recording settings are UHD 4K, 30 FPS, wide angle (0.6x), and HEVC/H.265 encoding. I need to use wide angle to get the entire field. The position of the phone/camera is basically a rough guess because I can’t easily see the screen or make fine adjustments once it’s up there. Every time I boot up Premier Elements (2021), it makes me have to dismiss the screen shown below.How can I get that to stop, and go straight to the editor?

Here's an excerpted image from Adobe Premiere Elements 2022:The green audio clip at right (VID) worked fine. I added the green one at left (DW). Now the green one at right is silent. Using Undo did not restore sound to the one at right. Any ideas what happened?

I just tried to use Premier Elements with my iPhone photos but they wouldn't import. Looking into forums or the web reveals that this is a known issue... so I don't get it, most media developers work with photoshop and mac and iPhone, why not fixing this issue. I do have an iPhone X and started to import into Premier Elements 2018 latest version. When importing the photos onto my Mac with PE2018 it gives me an error that the codec is not supported. It's defiantly not an option for me to convert my files to another format because I have to convert a couple of hundred and thats a no go... Hase anyone a solution for this. Again, MAC latest version, iPhoneX and Premier Element 2018 latest version. Many thanks in advance,Chris

Hello. I am using the Defuault Roll text feature, but it goes much too fast. Is there a way to slow it down? I tried slowing it down using the Time Remapping tool, but it doesn't let you do it on text. ChickenKid21
