I am trying to create a .iso DVD file in Premiere Elements 2018, and it just creates a "VIDEO_TS" folder and an "OpenDVD" folderinstead. If I open that "VIDEO_TS" folder with VLC media player, it 100% acts properly as I click on scene selections, watch movie, etc. But I don't know what to do with this folder as far as making an actual DVD. I haven't done this stuff In a few years. I was hoping to get a regular .iso file so I could use that to create my DVD from it. But I have no idea what I am supposed to do with this folder. When exporting, I even have .iso selected as my output type, yet I still get this unusable folder instead. Any ideas?
Hi all,I need help with the Premiere Elements 2020 video editor under Win10.The problem is that selecting the export and share menu - the next screen freezes.1) First select export and share (here screenshots in German) 2) getting an error on the new export and share screen.Additional info:Loading and working with videos are no problem in the Video Editor.I tried different videos with different formats - all the same.If I select the export and share menu without loading any video, this error appears too. Environment: i9 / Win 10 Pro / 32 GB Ram / 500 GB free on HDToday I ran an update on from Adobe, no change on thie behaviour.Current Version on Premier Elements Video Editor is: 18.0 (20201207.daily.2234367) Any hints for a solution or a place I can check (special logfiles etc.) would be great? Picture quality issue importing analog videos I am using the Basetech USB 2.0 Video-grabber BR116 to import my 25 y old Hi8 Videos into Premiere Elements 2022 (appers as "webcam or WDM device"). My still going strong Hi8 camera has made analog videos with 25 fps. The resulting imported AVI videos have only 20 fps: this results in 1 frozen frame out of 5, greatly impairing the movie quality. How can I setup PrEl 2022 to import those videos correctly with 25 fps? With the included software (honestech VHS to DVD 3.0) I get PAL standard .mpg files (720 x 576) with 25 fps; that means it's not a problem of the video grabber. I can import the MPG files in PrEl 2022; however, that software has some bugs that make working more difficult. Moved into a new thread: different issue [mod]
Hallo zusammen.
I recently installed Premiere Elements 2022. On the initial install, the colors were not displaying correctly on my imported media. After reading a similiar community post, I updated and installed a new GPU driver. This fixed the problem at the time. I was able to import, edit, and export normally. I go back into the program today, and the same problem comes back. I searched for updates on the GPU, and my driver was up-to-date. I restarted the computer, and still no fix. Changed the 1080p25.sqpreset DSLR file to 1920p25.sqpreset with wordpad to handle 9:16 video with Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 and then added a folder under the 1920p DSLR with the new file. The program does not see it. Can anything be done?

I have just updated my Windows 10 system successfully, but now Premiere Elements won't allow me to sign in. I have also noticed other irregularities since updating Windows 10. Any suggestions on what to do to fix this problem? I have read other posts where the same problem seems to exist, but I have not gotten a sufficient or understandable explanation of what is causing this problem, or how to fix it.

FYII use PE13 on a Win10 box with the HEVC codec installed. Of course, any HEVC video will come into PE13 as audio only (can be converted in Handbrake). I bought PE21 but I need to make blurays so I reverted to PE13. I have used a gopro 8 with the video compression set to H.264 + HEVC successfully in PE13. The gopro 8 will output H.264 on 1080 30, 1080 60, 2.7K 60, 4K 30 and 4K 60. I just bought a gopro 10 and set the compression to H.264 + HEVC and found that this gopro version will still only output HEVC only when set to 1080 24 and 1080 30 and 4K 60 but will output H.264 when set to 1080 60 and 4K 30. There is no warning that this will happen even when the video compression setting is H.264 + HEVC. I contacted gopro to inform them of this deficiency but I won't be holding my breath for their fix.
I have premiere elements 2022. It keeps freezing on me as I edit videos. I only have 12gb of ram. Could this be my problem?
I used Export & Share > Device > Computer to export my video (MP4) (single images & wav files). Images look great, but NO audio can be heard. In Premier, sound is fine. I don't know what to check. Windows 11. Premier Elements 2021, version 19.0.
I have a project under construction in Premeiere Elements 2022. I have been working this project for two weeks and I have other projects I am working on in the program. But the one I am trying to complete will not open up and it then locks up and the only way out is task manager. This has occured only in the past three days. Up until then, the project opened just fine. I have added no content expect for the content added at the start of the project. I have only been editing clips and adding transitions between clips since then. Two strange things going on. 1.) The project has opened randomly only after numerous attempts.2.) The three other projects I am working open just fine.Any advice? Thanks!
All images in correct date/time orderI do not automatically get the various images, videos and photos in the correct date/time order. When my partner and I travel we take images with a camera, video and photo, and phone, also video and photo, that goes for both of us. (Naturally, we immediately set all equipment on the correct date and time in advance). So we have various videos and photos with various extensions. We make a film from a selection of this material in Premiere Elements. This program offers the possibility to select the material by date (and time) at the touch of a 'button'. However, when I import the images afterwards, it turns out that a lot is not in the right order! Not even with stills and videos from the same camera! So the question is, how do I easily get the various images with different extensions in the correct date/time order in Première Elements?! Thank you very much in advance for response!
I had been prompted to install an update on both Photoshop and Premier Elements (2021 Suite) to 2021.4. However, when I try to instal (either "now" or "Install at exit"), two windows pops up stating: 1) "couldn't start update manager. Retry after some time" and 2) "Choose an application to open the document URL..."I am using a 2018 MacBook Pro and running Big Sur v.11.6.2. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mike
Hi, I'm struggling to find the right settings for my videos, can anyone help please? The original videos are pretty clear/crisp and good quality, but whenever I export the edited video the quality is dramatically reduced, so I assume I have the wrong settings either at set up, or export, or both. But I can't for the life of me figure out what they should be! The finished videos are to be uploaded to YouTube, and I'd like them to be the highest quality possible. I'm using 2 types of video -1) Filmed on my iPhone 12, which I think is MPEG Movie type, at 1920 x 1080, frame rate 29.992) Filmed on Quick Time, MPEG Movie type, at 1920 x 1080, frame rate 29.79 My project settings are currently - Editing mode - DSLRTimebase - 29.97Frame size - 1920 x 1080I'm using Premiere Elements 2021. And I'm using the 'Computer/HD1080' preset for export, which gives 1920 x 1080, format MP4 - H.264 and bitrate of 32mbps. Any ideas what I should be changing these to so that
I am trying to add gifs to my video as an overlay type of thing; I have done it multiple times in the past but all of a sudden it just says "Add Media Failure. This type of file is not supported, or the required codec is not installed." Some of my gifs have work and others don't, but they are all .gif files. Thank you for any help.
I'm using Premiere Elements 15 with Windows 10 and reading about using keyframes with applied effects. According to what I'm reading, when you click on the stopwatch at the top of the effect's window, it should display a timeline. The keyframing works as expected but the timeline display is not there, nor are the three controls for adding a new keyframe or jumpting to previous or next keyframes . Is there some setting to turn it on and off? Thanks.
There is a major quality issue when editing MP4 videos created using Movavi. This occurred when using Movavi on one machine and editing with Elements on another. It doesn't look like a simple problem as elements holds the high quality information. I use Adobe Elements12 and am in the process of trialing 2022. This problem exists on both copies. The original Movavi file was created on an older desktop with an older monitor, hence the video format size of 1440 x 1080. The problem only occurs with Movavi videos created on my older computer. All images below have been taken on my newer laptop connected to a 4K monitor. The Movavi video looks fine on all devices. When loaded into Elements on my laptop it looks awful. Elements contains the high quality, as can be seen from ElementsImage2 All attempts to save high quality videos from Elements failed The screen shots show:The Movavi fileA screen clip of the Movavi vid
The new computer I purchased for previous software install was not up to the task of editing 4K video. I returned the it and upgraded to a more capable platform. Where do I go to download a no charge second copy? Thanks,Barry
The rendering pocess suddenly, in the middle of a project, has become extremely slow. A simple fade out takes more than ten minutes to render. The computer (Imac 27´) works fine and I have a SSD-disc. The problem occured suddenly. Grateful four your ideasMikael Levy
I am having a few issues with the aspect ratio. I had been using elements for a few months without this issue. When I would record and upload the file to Elements it would fit into Premiere just fine. Now, any new recording is widescreen and I have to manually fit it to the screen each time unless I want black lines above and below my video. I have not changed any settings on my computer, my recoridng software, or in Premiere. I have tried forcing selected project presets and that does not do a thing. What do I need to do to have my recording be full screen without having to always manually adjust?
I've used Elements 2019 for dozens of videos and haven't run into this problem yet. I've created a video and exported using Export and Share at different quality levels, 4K, 1080p, etc. The quality of the mp4 that is exported is much poorer than the original video files, which were recorded using bandicam (I haven't done anyting different in creating these screengrabs). The stange thing is that I only get this quality issue exporting this one .prel file. In other words I can export other prel files with no quality issues, and even stanger, I can create a new prel file, use the exact same video clip and export it and have no quality issues. The problem then seems to be isolated to the file I have created. I've put a lot of work into splicing clips together and would rather not redo the file from scratch. Is there something I'm missing with settings? Hope this was enough info. Thanks so much!
I have several images that I want to change the default duration for. I can change the duration on single clips without a problem, but I cannot select multiple clips and then change the duration all at once. There is a catch however, when I select multiple clips and the timestretch dialog box appears, I am able to select/deselect the link icon, but the time slider/numerical input is greyed out. I am using premiere elements 18.Thanks
I have two photos side by side in the timeline, apron 6 seconds each. Each photo has some motion (scale and position) beginning at the first frame each photo, and ending at the final frame of each. I've added a cross dissolve to transition between the two photos, and rendered the timeline. When played in the viewer, there is a noticeable "jump" at the transition. If I remove the cross dissolve, the "jump" is not apparent, just a straight cut from one to the next. How do I add the dissolve so that there is no "jump'"?
