Hello,I'm using Acrobat Reader (currently the latest available 64-bit version for MS Windows, i.e. 2023.001.20174) under MS Windows 10. I chose to use a different PDF viewer as the default due to lower operational footprint of the alternative viewer, but I want to use Acrobat Reader ocassionally for certain more advanced features (e.g. electronically signing documents) as necessary. Unfortunately, Acrobat Reader changes the assignment of the default PDF viewer/handler to itself as soon as I open it in spite of the fact that I didn't enable the setting to notify me about possibly different default handler (and even less to change it silently in the background in spite of my preferences). I understand that Adobe developers may be in a difficult position considering the fact that Microsoft Edge (installed by default on MS Windows) changes the default to itself sometimes as well (there are ways to circumvent it with MS Edge, but not easy to find for newcomers), but that's no excuse for Ado
- corporate environment- domain-joined computers- local users do not have admin rights- Reader DC is deployed to all machines as part of standard image- no software blacklist- nothing in GPO related to Adobe reader Adobe Reader DC has been disappearing from computers around my network. Multiple locations, multiple users - no common threads there. It works, and then one day people find that the computer is defaulting to opening PDFs with one browser or another, and Reader DC is totally gone from the computer. Easy enough to download and reinstall, but what is causing it to vanish?
When I try to convert I get the error message "Internal Server Error: An error occurred while connecting to the service. Please try again later" I do try but the error persists and has done for several days. I have previously coverted all types of documents no problem and as far as I can see my account is paid up and cpable of conversion.

Nach der Anmeldung bekomme ich die Datei nicht angehangen an die E-Mail sondern nur den Link zur Adobe Cloud für das File. Ich möchte es aber an die E-Mail anhängen. Vielleicht kann mir jemand helfen.
Update to Adobe Acrobat Reader 23.001.20174 was installed on my pc last week. Since then when I click on the camera to take a snapshot, I still get the pop-up box that says it copied it, but when I go to paste that snapshot into any other doc (word or e-mail) it won't allow me to paste it. It's like it really didn't copy it.
Adobe Reader DC starts up with the Tools menu down the right side. Can the startup be modified so it starts and stays as a full screen view without seeing the tools unless asked for?
I'm attempting to Enable and Lock down Run in AppContianer by modifying the registry. If I enable Run in appContiner it works fine but if I enable and lock it down the check box disapears and the option is grayed out.

I previously had an account through my work. However, I finished my contract and needed to get a private adobe account installed. I did the following:- leave organisation- delete account Download and install acrobat reader for Mac (version 10.15.7). Every time I open a document I am asked to login with my previous (work) account… (see attachment)- I am unable to change to my new account- I am unable to login with my old account, as it is deleted Which means, I am unable to use the program.- I tried deleting and reinstalling, but nothing helped. - I am still asked to use my work login. What did I do wrong, and how am I able to fix it?

Is there a way to change the color used to highlight results when using control F to search within text? The system default doesn't stand out very well and I often have to hunt for it in small text. Thanks!
How do you remove or hide the quick tool pane? I added a picture of the tool pane I am referring to.

Hi All,Please help to disable sign in and Share button in Adobe Reader DC 19.[Moved from Acrobat General Troubleshooting to Acrobat Reader by moderator]
Intermittantly, Adobe PDF reader requests that I install a fontpack to read PDFs on my hard drive. I am directed to this page to install an Asian Fontpack Adobe - Adobe Reader : For Windows : Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Font Pack (Continuous) - For Acrobat Reader DC version 19.x . I have the choice of several Asian languages. The PDFs are in French so I'm confused why this is happening. Thanks for your assistance PC Windows 10.
Hi! I have a volume licensing agreement which is required to distribute Adobe Reader DC that we intend to use. I have downloaded the installation file from the link provided in the confirmation email and attempted an install. The installation itself is fine, but there is a popup for every user upon first start where they have to agree to a volume license agreement for "personal computers" in order to continue using the software. Is there a way to accept this as an admin during the deployment on behalf of our users so they won't see it? There is also a second screen immediately after accepting the volume licensing agreement about Adobe ID Sign in that I'd like to supress. I want to distribute this software during Autopilot enrollment, so I was hoping that there is a solution available other than group policy objects that can be applied either during the installation itself (msi switches, an answer file etc) or by adding a registry value somewhere. Hi,I experience recurring memory leaks with Reader 23.001.20143. I had computer reboot with no effect. This makes computer freeze and various other programs crash. Closing all Reader windows only partly solves the issue it seems. Killing Reader process from task manager solves the issue.I usually works with tens of PDF open.I'm running 64 bits Win10 up to date on i7-8550U CPU with 16GB RAM.When other programs start to crash Reader is using over 6GB of the 16GB on the machine. Now again while writing this ticket, I restarted Reader a couple hours ago and have only 2 pdf open (a few MB each) and Reader is using 1.5GB RAM... closing Reader RAM usage drops down to 1.2GB and it takes 20 seconds before all the accrobat.exe processes disappear. The PC otherwise copes well with plenty of apps runing plenty of things in parallel and rebooting only every month. Not sure I will be reachable to help solving the issue.Cyril

Adobe Reader DC keeps intermittently crashing while using fillable forms. This mostly happens when using the drop down menus for dates but also happens when I copy & paste information from an email onto the forms. I don't have any issues when typing text or typing dates in the drop down fields and there are no issues inserting pictures. Only with drop down dates and copy & paste. I'm on Windows 11 and copying & pasting from Gmail or Outlook 2019. Thank you in advance. William Scott
I learned not from the Community, and not from mythical or non-existent Adobe Support, but from a colleague, that in order for a PDF containing many comments to function in Reader DC, one must uncheck the default-checked "Preferences > Show comments pane when a PDF is opened".
Since the last update there has been problems on 3 different computers with sending .pdf as mail attachment from Adobe Reader. The problem occurs after a few mails have been sent. First few mails work perfectly, but after that pressing the envelope button opens a white screen with a loading circle which spins forever. The only option is to kill the task. After that it might work again for a few e-mails. We are using the most recent version of Adobe Reader DC 2019.012.20034 and different 2016 versions of Outlook.
We have some users who are reporting that printing is slow to a Brother MFC-L2700DW or Brother MFC-L2707DW printer from 64-bit Adobe Acrobat Reader 2023.001.20143 on Windows 10 Version 21H2. I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:Uninstalling and re-installing Adobe Acrobat ReaderUninstalling and re-installing the Brother MFC-L2707DW printer driverClicking on the Advanced button in the Print Dialog box, and then checking Print to ImageClicking on the Advanced button in the Print Dialog box, and then checking Let Printer determine Colors The users who are experiencing issues printing to a Brother MFC-L2700DW or Brother MFC-L2707DW from Adobe Acrobat Reader are not having issues printing to a Brother MFC-L2700DW or Brother MFC-L2707DW from from other apps such as Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel. The problem is irritating for the users who are trying to print PDF's from Adobe Acrobat Reader as it takes a few minutes to get a single PDF file pri
Hello,I have been trying to enable the option "Remember current state of Tools Pane". I noticed this feature is in Acrobat DC Reader, but not Acrobat DC Pro.Is there a similar option for Pro?If not could we acquire an update for this option as I feel this pertains to Pro as much, if not more than, Reader.Thank you,Zachary C.
When we open PDFs with Adobe Reader and then close them a pop up appears asking if we want to save the changes even when no changes are made. Is there a setting somewhere that will stop this from occuring? Thanks
