Hello, I've been using adobe reader DC for a long time and never had any problems with the cmd + F function but 3 days ago, everytime I tried to search a word in a PDF with this command, instead of just showing the words I wrote in the bar, there is a big blue square that appears and makes the search goes interspace from interspace in the same sentence... and this goes on for the complete sentence... What is happening ? Thank u!

Good afternoon everyone, I am fairly new to Adobe, therefore I apologize for a potentially silly question. I created a form in which I used the following JavaScript to essentially add/remove additional pages based on whether one of the various check boxs are selected or not: if(event.target.value!="Off"){this.getTemplate("t1" ).hidden=false;}else{this.getTemplate("t1" ).hidden=true;} My form works perfectfully fine when utilizing Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017; however, when opened in Adobe Reader (where the individuals receiving this form will be opening it) the form does not respond to the JavaScript function. I receieve the following error: "NotAllowedError: Security settings prevent access to this property or method.Template.hidden:2:Field Risk 1:Mouse Up". I have done some reading some the error, but the error seems to be somewhat universal and could be a result of many different issues. Any thoughts on how to avoid this issue? Man
Hi guys, Previously I've been able to access my document cloud via the Acrobat Reader app directly. But since some time recently, I could no longer find Document Cloud under the FILES section in the app, which only shows My Computer and Add an Account now. Please let me know if anyone has encountered the same issue/know how to add it back. Thanks! macOS Catalina 10.15.7Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2020.013.20064
I'm trying to open a file, that says it needs Adobe Reader 10.0 or higher to open. I downloaded the latest version of Adobe Reader in the Android App store and it's still not working. What should I do?
Is it possible to disable pdf horizontal scrolling for Acrobat Reader DC when used on an M1 MacBook Air so that two fingers on the track pad only permits vertical scrolling?
I was wondering if it is possible to disable the Version Comments pop up when checking a PDF back into Shairepoint that has been opened by the desktop version of Reader? It's of no relevance to what we do/operate so is a minor annoyance. Thanks
Every time I open a .pdf file in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (the default .pdf program I use on Windows 10) I get the following error notice "Windows Application Error The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000022) Click OK to close Application" I end up clicking the "X" (instead of the "Close" option), it disappears, then comes up again. I click the "X" again and the error notice closes for good and I am able to continue reading and printing my .pdf. So no real stoppage, but annoying. Any suggestions? Also I used the Acrobat cleaner program and reinstalled with the same result.
Hello, I know that the question is asked before, but neather answer does solve my problem. I want to add Dutch voice to Adobe Reader DC, for reading a document. In Edit > Preferences > Reading > Read out loud options, I can choose Microsoft David Desktop OR Microsoft Zira Desktop, both English (United States). In Windows Narrator, I have voices for Dutch; Microsoft Bart - Dutch (Belgium) and Microsft Frank - Dutch (Netherlands), ... in that same dropdown I see for the Microsoft David and Zira, two different versions:Microsoft David Destop - English (United States) ANDMicrosoft David - English (United States). The same applies to Zira; with and without Destop in the title.Their is another English United states, Mark (also without Desktop in Narrator) and that doesn't show in Adobe options. Can someone help me to install a Dutch voice that works for Adobe Reading out Loud?Thank you, Kind regards, Bart

Hello, my 'Replace text' tool in Reader DC has changed to be red strikethrough but with blue insertion point (a red question mark is shown in the 'Color' box). I want it to be blue strikethrough and blue insertion point, to differentiate from strikethrough (which is red). On right clicking, there is no 'Make properties default' option, just 'Locked' option. Other editing dialogue boxes do have this 'Make properties default' option. I assume this is as a result of an update as this has only happened over the last week. Can anyone help? or is this a bug in the latest Reader that needs sorting? Thanks

Hi. Suddenly my printer cannot print pdfs. It was fine until about five days ago (24 March 2022). I have a new Windows 10 64bit installed on my PC. A laptop that also uses the printer via wireless has Windows 7. Printer is Canon Pixma ip7250. I have the latest version of Adobe Reader DC on my PC, and a laptop has the licensed version. The first problem was that neither the PC nor the laptop could printing pdfs and images that had been email attachments sent from a mobile phone, nor could they print the pdfs on Microsoft Edge. All these things had been working fine with Windows 10 until five days ago. Sessions with Canon support ensued, mostly re-installation of drivers. Now one laptop can print pdfs via usb, but not via the wireless version. Now the wireless printer installations cannot print pdf files at all, but sometimes manage to print pdf files. No error codes appear.Rarely, a pop up flashes briefly, something about spooling. After a while, a mess
I am using a free acrobat reader. This always pop up a screen for request to verify my email, but that email is not existent. How to get rid of this error. Even I create another user successfully, but that the same cannot solve.
I would like to suggest or know if there is already a plugin that can be used to access the 'read out loud' faster, a button on the toolbar or something like that. Something that makes the functionality simpler and without the use of keyboard shortcuts.
I know you can reduce the file size in previous versions of Acrobat but I can find how to do it in Acrobat DC. Please help.
Hello all,I'm a little confused. For some time now, the 64-bit version of Adobe Reader has been available and, as msp packages, regular updates accordingly. Today I found the enterprise Homepage and got a:AcroRdrDCx642200120085_MUI.exefrom https://get.adobe.com/de/reader/enterprise/ However, it only contains an AcroPro.msi and no AcroRead.msi as in the 32-bit version. So far, I update the package via the slipstream integration and then distribute the package via the software distribution of the GPO.Can I use the AcroPro.msi in the same way, or does this require a licence or a different procedure? Many thanks
I have an issue that I was made aware today. When trying to use the email icon to send a pdf via email using the windows 10 mail app I get that the default mail client is unknown and by pressing send I get the error "Adobe Acrobat is unable to connect to your email program". I checked the menu email accounts in preferences and there is no more the default mail account (I get an empty list). I have tried to uninstall the acrobat reader with the cleaner as well as the mail app and cleaned all the user data, reinstalled adobe reader dc from the adobe website as well as the mail app from the store and got the same results. I checked the registry Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail and get only the hotmail entry which is created when I install the mail app. I then deleted the entry and repeated the uninstall/install of both applications after a reboot. The key is created again but still cannot send from adobe reader. The exact same thing occurs in 2 more computers that I
Most browsers have deprecated FTP support now, and in many environments it can be difficult approving/installing extra FTP software. FTP ports may also be blocked in some companies. I even tried using the old command line FTP tool, but no luck: At this rate, I'm going to have to use another computer or obtain the .admx files from some dodgy google link. Please consider hosting these tiny files as HTTP instead. Thanks
