Hi, I'm trying to get an AO from my height map using AO (HBAO) node and it works fine except for the fact that on edges I'm getting this weird artefacting: Which is strange as I can convert Normals abosultely fine from that same height map which is 16bit grayscale png: Any ideas how to fix that? Thanks a lot in advance!

hi dave i got a i5-12400 and a rx6600 (non supported card for rendering in iray/ cycles [in blender]), should i change the render engine to SSE2? what is the difference? ( i rarely use much the 3d view if this info helps)  

guys is there a huge difference between a lets say 512x512 compared to 2048x2048 or the changes are just undetectable to the human eye. lol.

Why does metallic check use the gray conversion node as 0.333 per channel when transforming from basecolor to reflectance?

Hi,I want to make a filter for use in the painter. I want to use HSL in the filter, but there is a problem.the default mode of HSL in the painter is Perceptive, but when I use the HSL node in the designer and send it to the painter, it works like regular mode. I couldn't change the HSL mode in the designer. Please let me know how to change the HSL mode in the designer just like the painter.I want to make the HSL works just the same as the painter's.Thank you.  

HiI need some help with limiting the saturation of a color node between 0 and 0.8. I know I should use the linear interpolation function, but when I try breaking the color node with swizzle and limiting the 'y' parameter, it doesn't work. Can you show me the solution? Thanks!

Hii,My english is not good, so kindly forgive any grammar mistakes... Im here to request adobe to make a powerful 3d software like maya and blender which is layer based and not node based.... An industrial standard layer based software is lacking here and im pretty sure software developers of adobe can surely do it... It will be more simpler to work in layer based than node based.... So if this happens it will be a huge game changer in 3d software section,    animation and vfx... Consider my request as a request of lot of people around the globe.... I hope this request will reach adobe developers... With hope:)

Hi, how can I use the Flood Fill to Position node to access each point position from this node within a FXMap node. I tried a sampler node within the FXMap functions; by using the correct input image node that being the Flood Fill to Position node in for example input 1 to sample the point positions but I'm not getting any result ?

I'm having a really tough time here. So many issues...not working. Even the most pro users are scratching my head when they see the issues I have. Can someone here please tell me why my material is not showing up in the 3d view? Please don't ask me the same simple questions... "Did you right-click and view outputs in 3d view?" - yes... I did. "Did you right click and reset and view outputs in 3d view." Yes... I did that too... There's something I'm just not doing...and I'd be happy to pay for the answer since I only get crickets on the discord channel...and basically no help at all. No support for this app exists except this ..area. Any help would be so awesome... and I'd be so grateful to reach in my wallet and pay you to help...since that seems to be the only way I can get help. lol

Hi All, I need to expand how I'm creating textures using substance designer, I'm currently using python and sbsrender across multiple threads locally which works fine. I'm moving to a model where I want to do that remotely, am I ok to just buy a bunch of substance subscriptions and run them on something like paper space and call python to run sbsrender or will I get pulled up for that ?  It needs to be a proper supported solution. It feels like something better suited to automation server but I don't know if that is still a thing, when I tried to get a licence a few years ago / spoke to sales team etc. I gave up couldn't even get through the door to have a sensible conversation about pricing without being an enterprise and I don't need all that overhead/governance at this point just a licence, not sure if anything has changed since then ? thanks! Mark

Hi all, I really need help in automating/ batch outputting the texture maps from a list of sbs or sbsar files. I can no longer donwload Automation Toolkit, so all the videos online are outdated. What is the process for Automating now? It is so poorly documented after they closed access in September 2022 and I am really lost. I am trying to something like below. I am getting blue screen error in Substance painter program. I don't get blue screen error in benchmarks tests. I only encounter this problem when exporting. I am us,ng i7-13900h and 4070 rtx (Laptop ) graphics card. I'm getting a blue screen only with this program. Could you help?
