Maybe this is a feature request, or maybe I'm doing it incorrectly, but I would like to simply use the text tool to draw out a fixed text box. It acts like it is going to do it, but as soon as I start typing, the fixed box disappears. Instead I have to type in some text first in an auto-width default. I have to click out of the text tool, then drag the box handles to make a fixed box. It seems like unncessary extra steps to me. On this help page in the "Draw Text in an Area" section, it looks like this should be possible. https://helpx.adobe.com/xd/help/drawing-text-tools.html But it does not work as suggested in the diagram.  I just want the type tool in XD to work like it works in everything else: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop.

Audio file can't be heard when previewing on iPad.  I have two audio files. One audio file for success. One audio file for error.  On the iPad, the audio file for success can be heard. However, the audio file for error cannot be heard.  I tried previewing on desktop and mobile, both audio files work perfectly. Why is this happening to my iPad and it randomly had this problem when for the past few days everything was working perfectly. And I am having a usability testing tmr (monday)...

Hoy todo archivo de XD que intento abrir me lo hace en blanco, y no me permite realizar ninguna acción dentro de la app.... si le doy, por ejemplo, a Archivo no me despliega las opciones, o si le doy a layers, extensiones, etc. Si abro XD y le doy a crear un documento nuevo, ocurre exactamente lo mismo. He reiniciado mi PC, XD, CC y no logro resolver el problema (Windows 10- 64bits)

I have an issue with retrieving my Xd file I saved last night. I can only find an older version in the cloud, Please advise how to retrieve my document.

Good morning, Im and IT Admin for HB Global LLC which has a number of divisions that they have recently purchased under them and are bring into the fold of the HB Umbrella. These are Mechanical Contracting, HVAC, Plumbing, Contruction companies that have numerous jobs in different location of the country at any given time. I support the division Nash PM in Wildwood, FL but also the other divisions as well when I can.So on to my issue. We utilize 3 or 4 O365 Licenses depending on what the staff member will be doing and whether or not they have company equipment. In the case of a member not needing company equipment but still needs access to email we assisgn an F3 License, which only allows the user to access O365 contect through a web browser and in this case a web browser on their personal mobile device. hi, i have some question. i make some design at adobe xd with several fonts intalled at my device. but when i export my artwork to html with web exporter plugins, all the fonts changes and become so different and messy. it's just like missing font case. anyone knows how to export html from adobe xd including some foreign fonts and without any changes?

Hi all. I am a student thats doing a lot of prototyping and I am using Adobe xD for the prototyping. Thankfully the school has an Adobe License linked to school login so I can sign in with my School Account to Adobe Cloud and I have License to everything. The slight issue is that since I am using Adobe xD its not a default install and sadly I don't have permissions to install programs on the school network (rightfully so) well I can install xD but once the download is completed its not fully installed and will give me 109 Error - Other installed Adobe Products work fine so I assume its the fact it cant Read or Write to a location. I was wondering if there is a way that I can install Adobe xD to a form of Portable Storage and be able to use it on multiple PC's that have Adobe Creative Cloud installed? I don't really think I can ask the IT Team to install Adobe xD on every single PC at the school just so I can use it.

1. Not able to preview my mobile prototype with USB connection.2. Not able to connect to my published XD CC files folder with my Android mobile.Did Adobe say the XD Beta days is over? Doesn't act like a fully functional application if you ask me. Many people are experiencing the same issues they had 12 months ago.

Hi, ich würde gerne das Gegenteil von "fixed objects" erreichen. Beim Scrollen möchte ich, dass Objekte die anklickbar sind, sich aus dem Bild bewegen wenn ich weiter scrolle.Im Moment bewegen die sich mit, anstatt wie die Hintergrundszenerie, die in einem Bildlauf eingestellt ist, sich aus dem Bild zu bewegen. Gruppieren mit diesem Hintergrund funktioniert auch nicht. Kann mir jemand helfen?   

When I choose the Align to Pixel Grid command, XD is changing the size of the font. This effect seems to only happen with text boxes that contain multiple sizes of fonts in them, and occurs with each and every instance. Before:After:The only work around I know of is to instead manually change the X and Y position values to whole numbers in the Transform palette... but that isn't practical at all. This problem makes my entire effort to make elements pixel perfect sketchy at best.

Follow my thought:If you want to create a button component, or a list full of buttons, and you want this button to be used all over the system. Each button has its own text. One is Ok, another is Cancel, etc. On my system I have more then 50. Each button has 9 states: Selected, Unselected, hovered selected, hovered unselected, locked unseleted, locked selected, Locked selected hovered, locked unselected hovered and disabled.  So....  For each button I create, I simply cannot use the same component, since the way it works adobe XD, we need to rescale each of the 9 states, and copy +paste text on each of the 9 states.  We urge for a solution on that situation. This is against any prototype process.   

In some cases I can't enter any text. I have the layer created but when I type on the keyboard nothing is displayed

Hallo zusammen, hallo Adobe-Team,ich arbeite gemeinsam in einem UX-Team mit mehreren Entwicklern in verschiedenen Projekten. Dazu gehört auch das gemeinsame Arbeiten in einer XD-Datei. Die Funktion "Freigabe", also das herausgeben und aktualisieren eines XD-Links ist jedoch nur Eigentümern vorbehalten. Das macht uns im Alltag enorme Probleme und behindert uns sehr. Seid dem letzten Update sehe ich noch nicht einmal den alten Link und kann ihn nicht kopieren. Das geht garnicht! Ständig muss man Kollegen bitten Links zu aktualisieren, oft dauert dies Wochen, da sie im Urlaub oder Krank sind. Nichts geht mehr. Ich frage mich wie das sein soll, wenn ein Kollegen das Unternehmen verläst. Ständig die Datei umziehen, kann doch keine Lösung sein. Ich bitte hier dringend um ein Update, dass einstellbar zu machen, sodass jeder mit Zugriff zu der Datei auch Freigabelinks aktualisieren kann. Sollte das bisher schon gehen, wäre ich auch dankbar über eine kleine Anleitung zum umstellen. Vielen Dank.

my company is using AEM but has componeets that they custom skinned, whats the best way to link the AEM live libaray of componets to XD?

Saving files to Creative Cloud is all well and good within Photoshop—that is, if I later want to open and modify image files inside Photoshop. But when I save a JPG file to the cloud inside Photoshop for use in a different Adobe product, such as XD, it's nowhere to be found. It's not available in the Creative Cloud desktop, nor at assets.adobe.com—it's just gone. What am I missing?

I'm working on a cloud document with some coworkers. While working with them, or on my own XD will repeatedly decide that it doesn't feel like letting me edit text boxes. It appears that this occurs exclusively with text boxes, both within the editor and in the options panel on the right. In order to "wake" XD up, I can sometimes click on a different layer, then be able to edit the text. This is inconsistent though. I've recorded a video showing the issue that I can share privately with the Adobe team.
