Hi everyoneIs it possible to apply to upload AET templates?

So I need to recreate this https://pin.it/34efBKgje video for a client. But instead of the two characters, they want two puzzle pieces like this https://in.pinterest.com/pin/20758848277417701/ walking in and then getting into the puzzle. and then I also need to know who to do the heart+ puzzle animation at the 0:31-0:36. I can use after effects, photoshop, and illustrator. i just don't know how to go about this. Any help appreciated.  So far what I have.An illustrator file of a jigsaw puzzle. However, that doesn't have the pieces that match the bride and groom shape. In the sense, the groom has 1 head and 3 "joinings" and the bride has 1 head, 2 hands and only one joining. And the jigsaw puzzle is all the same. two heads, two joining. How do I change that. If possible please give as detailed an explanation as you can. Apologies if this is very difficult to understand. It's 2AM where I am and I have no idea what to do.

I had downloaded after effects 2025 and in just day one i am facing issues like this it keeps saying that "Chunk in file too big-Probably unsupported file version (33::7).How should i fix this problem pls reply as soon as possible as i can't use my plugins for my video which are very nessesary.Pls fix this issue.

Good afternoon. What is the proper way to edit a Rotobrushed layer after Effects Controls have been added?  With Effects Controls turned on, the mask line is warped to accommodate the effects and using the brush seems strange.  With Effect Controls reset,  the mask is a straight line again but seems to have migrated from its original position.  What happens is this:  After rotobrushing a layer, I turn on the Effects Controls, review my work, make a list of changes, then reset Effect Controls to begin editing; but my mask seems to have jumped around and I have to go through the review process again. Just looking for a work flow that makes sense.  Thanks so much.

Since version 17 of After Effects, this shortcut no longer works... A very annoying problem for a super useful shortcut. Is version 17 have an anniversary?The shortcut setup is correct, if I click the 3 keyboards the After Keyboard shows me that it should work on shortcut preferences. But not works.I updated to version 18.2.1 right now and the problem continues. By the way, the keyboard shortcuts panel only shows me the correct function of the keys if I don't click ctrl first then shift or D. If I click ctrl first, it doesn't recognize either the shortcut. In the timeline it doesn't matter, it doesn't work anyway as you can see in the gif attached.

I recently upgraded to 24 and there are some bugs, but most go away by closing and reopening.  One just popped up that despite closing and opening and restarting, it won't go away.   The keyboard shortcut for split layer (Shift+cmd+D) doesn't work.  I went into keyboard shortcuts and it said that was the shortcut.  When I got rid of it and tried to reassign it to that, it turns out that it AE won't even accept that as a keyboard shortcut.  Can anyone think of a solve for this, short of uninstalling and reinstalling AE?   Title edited by Mod.

Bonjour,  Je vous écris parce qu'après une brève recherche je n'ai pas trouvé de solutions à mon problème sur After Effect..Alors voila j'ai commencé un projet, un jour je l'ouvre et je réalise que je ne peux plus afficher le point d'ancrage sur mon texte et cela sur tous les textes. Impossible d'afficher l'outil de déplacement arrière et cela, même avec le raccourcis (Y) . Je pense que cela est dû à une mauvais manipulation de ma part mais impossible de trouver dans les paramètres ou je pourrais le réafficher. Avez vous une solution pour ce soucis ? Je rappelle que je suis sur la dernière version d'After Effect !  Merci d'avance ! 

Hi. I'm having an issue with a single layer in an animation which I am exporting through bodymovin.I am using multiple track matte layers that sit underneath each shape layer of the penguin. The pink outline is the shape layer I am using with inverted alpha matte layers. This all plays perfectly in after effects but when I export out through bodymovin, the white belly does not mask (see screenshot on beige background).Is there a way of sorting this? I have tried auto tracing the layer and masking it, precomping the layer and masking, adding the white belly layer into the body layer so that it moves with it, and parenting the white belly layer to the body and masking. I have also tried putting the mask on a solid layer, and also creating a mask that is the opposite shape of what i've drawn, covering the area that the penguin is diving.I'm using After Effects 25.4. Any help would be so greatful.Thanks!

okay so i have this footage of a green screen which I want to track but failing. btw this is an AI generated clip. I tried Mocha AE to track the screen but the surface distorts after a while even when using points mainly because i didn't use markers, any suggestions?This is what i am getting everytime. Footage in question 

Hello everyone, I would like to know if there are shortcuts to be able to quickly access the modification of the points of a path or a mask path, without having to manually open the various steps of a level (SEE ATTACH IMAGE). Exist a rapid shotcut to select point?THANK YOU FOR REPLY.  

Every time I create a new project, I have to disable the "Use color display management" because it changes my colors like in the image below. (the preview is what I want it to look like)However, if I forget and turn it off in the middle of the project, I cant really return my colors to what it would look like with the option checked. So when I render out it just kind of ruins the colors. My color spaces match in the project settings and export, but it still comes out different.Is there a way to get AE to render as it would look like in the preview? As if  "Use color display management" was in the render as well? And no. The video player does not matter here. It's the same no matter if i put it in potplayer, premiere, etc.

Hello, so I have been following this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKzB-CFT0MI on how to make 2d intros in after effects and at the 2:20 mark he shows how he uses the pen tool to make curved lines around the elipse. I tried to do the samething myself, and couldent make the curved lines. I looked it up online and there were tutorials on how to make curved lines but they did not work the same way, and I could not make curves like he did.So if any of you know how to do curved lines like in the video, your help will be appreciated.Thanks !

So, I was working on this project today and it was working fine. However, when I decided to close and re-open it the comp just completely vanished. Most of the time it's gray, but when I move the playhead it'll be black for a second.I have already tried the following:Clearing CacheResetting PCTurn on software only renderingCheck and uncheck Hardware Acceleratte composition, layer, and footage panelsRunning as administratorReloading my sequencesUnhide each layer one by oneAll of my other AE files work fine by the way, it's just this one that does this.

Hi, I have an arbitrary parameter where the user can draw two polygonal curves. So far it works a little. But I have trouble to get the arbH data correctly. It is created - ok. I get in in ClickEvent, the user clicks, a new point is addet (background: 1)Parameter is PF_CHECKIN_PARAM. But then its disposed and copied again. ArbitraryCopyFunc SRC background: 0 foreground: 0  - OK, empty polygons ArbitraryCopyFunc DST after background: 0 foreground: 0    - OK LoadArbData background: 0 foreground: 0  - OKSaveArbData background: 1 foreground: 0  <-- here the point was setDisposeArbData background: 1 foreground: 0 <- it was saved, dispose get the changed one, but why dispose? ArbitraryCopyFunc SRC background: 0 foreground: 0 <-- but the next copy came and get the default oneAnd there are a lot of ArbitraryCopy events! I try to create heart rate pulse but when I try to taper the stroke of shape layer I goto>content>shape 1>stroke 1>here in stroke 1 no option for taper stoke  when I search on google for my problem solution then google give me suggested video wherein these videos I see they have 2020 version of after effect and taper option is still here and working but I also have 2020 version of after effect but no taper option. anyone help me if he knows what type of trouble.

I'm using After Effects 2025 (25.1.0 Build 68) on a MacOS (Sonoma 14.7.2). I use an external SSD for the cache and I haven't had any problems for over 2 years using AE 2023 and 2024. Of late, whenever I try to 'Purge all memory and disk cache' After Effects either freezes or moves extremely slow. The 'Cancel' button is also grayed out, so the only option is to Force Quit the application. Attaching a screengrab when I tried to clear the cache when it was approximately 30 gb (Cache is actually set to 200 gb):Here's what I've tried so far, without any improvements:1. Restarted both the system and After Effects2. Created a new folder and chose that as the new cache location.3. Manually deleted the cache folder. This actually led to another interesting complication — when I try to empty the trash, that operation also moves extremely slow even with all Adobe applications closed. 

 Hi, I'm in PPro beta (25.6.0 b50) and AE beta (25.6.0 b49)Select clips in PPro timeline > Replace with AE comp doesn't work as expected! AE is opened but without any clips in the comp timeline.Neither does copy & paste PPro > AE or drag & drop.I've also tired the non-beta version and while some combination works it is very unpredictable and difficult to link and switch between applications for some reason. Why is that? Just updated to 17.1.0 build 72I have 64GBI was working on a project prior to the update and wanted to work on another comp in the same project file. And I am now getting this message whenever I hit Numerical Keypad 0 to render the comp.I shut off the font layers and it seems to stop. But when I add fonts - that worked earlier I get the message:After effects error: TDL outline contains triangles that are too small to be rendered. Check for very thin triangles in original artwork. (88:3)I purged the memory and cache but to no avail.Any suggestions?

While importing PSD files (that contains multiple layers) from the extension panel in 'After effects' using  app.project.importFile will not provide any option to import individual layers, it always imports as merged psd.We want to provide user option to select any of the layers in the psd file during import.In premiere pro extension panel,if we import the same psd file, using the following code, will give us the option to choose the layers. app.project.importFiles 

Hi, I´ve been working with after effects for quite some time and i have never had an issue like this. It started like a week ago, i tried to play a preview and the timeline wouldn't play and the preview panel stayed in the same frame, after this happens i can pause the preview, i can move the timeline slider but the preview will stay the same no matter what, even if i change composition or create a new comp viewer, the preview will froze and the timeline won't update when i hit play. I still can select everything, move around the software and even add effects or footage to the project but like i said it won't play, then i would save and after i try to close the app it will froze and i'll have to End Process through the Windows Task Manager. If i reopen the project it will happen again, the only workaround i found by myself is to open a new project, create a new comp and then open the project i'm working on to get the preview panel to start working correctly but this only lasts lik

So long stupid story short, I installed AE before I was ready to learn how to use it and didn't realize that the Maxon Cinema 4D files that popped up in the launcher (I'm on a MacBook Pro) were associated with the AE install.I deleted them.  (And no, they're not in my trash for easy restoration like I'm having trouble getting Adobe tech support to understand.)Realizing the error of my ways once I was ready to sit down and learn AE, I uninstalled the program, rebooted and downloaded a fresh install of AE from the Creative Cloud.  It hasn't restored any of the Maxon software now.  What is the next step to fixing my mistake?  I would have assumed a fresh uninstall/reinstall would have addressed the issue, but I'm missing something here.  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
