This is the screenshot of my project. You can see a basic rectangle and an 'asset' (Both imported from AI using overlord).The only effect used is CC Repetile and the basic rectangle is just one single shape, the 'asset' is split into groups within the layer contents.When using CC Repetile effect on them, it creates a thin gap in between.However it should be noted that, when I use a shape created within AE, this problem doesn't occur.I tried to apply the effect after pre-composing, but that didn't remedy the issue. If you require anything more for a deeper diagnosis, I would be happy to provide.(The same settings for effects are used for all the shapes, only that the Expand Right values  differ for each)Thankyou for taking the time to assist.

Why is a Photoshop temp file created when I run After Effects?

My custom file exporter plugin works great on After Effects on Windows on x86_64. But recently Microsoft asked if I’m interested in supporting ARM64, so I started working on this.Both Premiere and After Effects plugins work perfectly on x86_64. The Premiere Pro plugin works also perfectly on ARM64, but the After Effects plugin doesn’t work.We investigated together (using Procmon and TTD) but only found this in the registry:HKCU\Software\Adobe\After Effects\26.0\PluginCache\en_US\VoukoderPro.aex_74697f7d-6eaa-731e-5ba9-290933586ec3\Ignore = 1Do you know why and how this could happen? How and where can I find more information to solve this issue?

Hi i work with one projekt in adobe after effects.its a tamplate with a crt and vhs tapes and one problem i am struggle with now is on the vhs player there is a logo and i change the logo to somthing els and for some reason the logo is gold and i dont want it to be in gold i want it to be in original colorsso my question how do i make the logo in original colors? https://aedownload.com/download-old-tv-vhs-opener-videohive/you will se the yellow/gold logo in the vhs player 

You can see in this screenshot in the LHS all layers properties are opened. Unwittingly I pressed the F key, that closed the all layers properties, you can see it in the RHS. I cannot find out the function of F key in the keyboard shortcut window. How can I find it? Video also attached        

Basically if I try typing settings into an effect manually, try to use the effects and presets panel search bar, or the text tool, it doesn’t work. I’m able to click on the search bars, but it’s like a hold instead of a toggle and doesn’t let me type anything in. I’ve tried resetting my preferences, safe mode, disabling my plugins, and nothing will work

i've had after effects cc 2020 for over 2 weeks now and yesterday i started having a problem. when i render my edit, it renders for around 5 seconds of the edit and then my computer randomly shuts off and i have to restart it again. i've tried rendering many times and my computer keeps shutting off. if anyone could help me, please let me know.

Is this an After Effects job or some other software?

Went blank two days ago, randomly. Ive updated drivers, re-installed AE multiple times, and still the composition window is blank. If I hit spacebar to preview the animation, the compostion window shows itself and it’s content. Is it possible to detect only the upstream instances of the same effect? I am trying to make a displacement effect that uses a noise for randomized displacement and I want it to accumulate the displacement of the other instances and use it in the calculations. Basically:First instance --> Displaces layer based on original X/Y(unaffected by its own displacement)Second instance -> Detects the displacement the first instance produced and adds it to X/Y which will then create a displacement that moves the layer in a completely different direction than the first instance. (this instance must only be affected by the displacement of the first instance)It is easy to detect all the instances, but I can't find a way to make the last instance not be affected by its own displacement. Basically all the instances start with the same X/Y and only add to them the displacement created by the upstream instances. Is there any way to do that? I need to find a way to tell the last instance say: "Hey!

Tenho um plugin externo de estenção chamado Brazu Motion sempre funcionou numa boa. Recentemente eles atualizaram o plugin que preciso acessar pelo navegador, porém o after 2026 esta com incompatibilidade no plugin por que toda vez que eu clico nele só carrega e faz nada. Hi all,I'm trying to make my cep-panel tablet friendly and I've realized that when I click and drag the tablet thinks my panel is a web browser hence it tries to scroll the page instead. Is there anything I can do to disable the scrolling feature in my code? Hello Adobe Community !I’ve been working with After Effects for years, and like many of you, I’ve had to constantly upgrade my hardware just to maintain a normal level of productivity—without seeing any significant improvements (though a more powerful processor and graphics card do really help me work normally).But in recent months, I’ve had to revert to the computing habits of the 2000s, using heavy 3D software, because After Effects—despite a complete reinstallation of Windows 11 Pro less than a year ago, the installation of a high-performance NVMe SSD (Samsung 990 Pro), major operating system updates, and the precaution of working on version 24x, the most stable version I’ve ever had, significantly slows down my entire machine after 2 to 3 hours of work.After that time, I have to shut it down via the Task Manager to restore my PC’s usual fluidity; otherwise, everything becomes slow, laggy, and impossible to use.The mouse freezes or becomes extremely slow; every movement, every edit,

No plugin, I have a feeling it's related to the puppet tool.I can't continue my work and considering to finaly switch to another software, the past 2-3 years of unstability drives me nuts.

Is there any element in Effects in Presets to turn this object into glass like? What I want is to make this object into transparent to see what is inside it.   

Hey, I’m trying to figure out how to make this frame effect. I know how to do the coloring and glow, but the problem is I can’t figure out how to create these kinds of pixelated edge particles. I can't even find an effect that could do it. If you have any ideas, I’d be grateful! 

I know this question has been asked a million times, even i've come up against it before and somewhow managed to solve it but with every AE update i find myself back at square one again trying to remember how to fix it again. So, for the umpteenth time... how do i stop colours getting washed out when i render out in After Effects?!  Here's some results from a test i've just made of a particular colour (#FF3E24) with screenshots taken in Illustrator and After Effects and then screenshots taken from MP4's outputted from both AE via the render queue and Media Encoder.  For Illustrator i always use sRGB profile, likewise the working colour space in AE project settings i also have set to sRGB and as you can see in the results the colours match between programs. The script is able to select layers by name without any issues. But when I attempt to generate a list of layers based on their names, it only shows the last layer instead of all the layers. How can I fix this?

Hi, I wanted to ask, why sometimes the inserted expression is not visible? For this example, yesterday, I added expression to this layer and today I would like to adjust some settings, but I can see only TimeRemap and not the expression, even though the expression is still working. I’v tried to click on everything I could to open it, but nothing

I have been using Adobe products for about 5 months and I am concerned about the question why the right mouse click to select a tool does not work? It works correctly in Photoshop, Illustrator but does not work in AE. This did not happen today or yesterday, it has not worked all this time.
