Hi all. Ive been organizing photos into folders on my SD cards and then moving them into a specific folder on my portable HDD. Earlier today I was unable to paste the folders onto the hard drive. I had recieved an error 50 or something. Inside bridge I had the option to move to the destination folder but the files never arrived in the destination. After lots of searching both with Bridge and my macbook, I havent been able to find these photos. Are they really gone for good? They must go somewhere. They disappear from the source location and never arrived at the destination folder. Please help! I want my photos back! I recently removed and reinstalled Photoshop and Bridge to get Camera Raw to work again. Now I can not see thumbnails for the images (I see icons) UNLESS I have previously opened each image in Photoshop and saved it. Only then will I get a thumbnail image in Bridge and this must be present to be able to open the images in Camera Raw for 'group' adjustmens. ( adjust one image and make the rest in selected group like that one)  Why is Bridge unable to make thumbnails on it's own?    Moved from Using the Community (which is about the forums) to the correct forum... Hey, Thats super strange but Im having trouble rating my Jpegs on Bridge. CR2 no problem but for Jpegs I need to press longer or more than once to get a rating on the file. Any ideas on why thats happenning?I will say that it happened after I installed the last update og Bridge but wanted to use the old version.I now uninstalled the new version. Thank you!

Hi - I don't think this is a 'Tiles' thing - But some of my Bridge thumnails have a black border round the actual image, and some don't. In the same window. See pic. What causes the border? How do I get rid of it? I've looked at obvious things (rating, etc) but can't see the difference between thumbs that have the border and thumbs that don't. Can't figure out what's causing it? Thanks!

I'm on a Windows 8.1 system, so I don't have access to any of the current software. My version of Bridge is 8.1.0.383 x64. For some reason, a while back it stopped letting me update metadata on JPEG or other non-RAW files, which is a major inconvenience. I tried clearing the thumbnail cache and resetting the workspace and preferences, but that didn't solve the problem. I would try uninstalling and re-installing the program, but the old version is not in the Creative Cloud for me to reinstall. Is there any way to access a version of Bridge that will install on my Windows 8.1 system. Or is there another way to fix the jpg metadata issue? It's a huge time waster to have to go back and recaption the RAW files and reprocess to jpegs for delivery to make basic corrections.

Bridge will not let me change, add or delete metadata with this latest version 10.1 that I updated today. I was always able to modify metadata using the metadata tab, but with this new version the program freezes. Any idea as to what to do?

I have decided to store all my photos on CC and not locally. I am using Adobe Bridge to move my files over. I use Bridges "Move To" command to move the files to the Creative Cloud folder, then sync. However, there is no reduction in the amount of storage that my files use locally. It appears that I have actually not moved the files to the cloud, but merely copied them over. If I delete the files from the Creative Cloud folder, will the remain in the Cloud and still be available?

Why is Bridge resigned to UI wastelands? When is 150% scaling coming? It's been requested for a decade now. Maybe I'm the only one left who actually likes *gulp* bridge enought to use it a lot of the time?

Using the arrows to navigate in Bridge has become intolerably slow for me. It takes 2 full seconds to transition to the next image regardless of the image size. It strange that clicking on images with the mouse brings up the preview almost instantaneously. The menus are also very unresponsive. It takes more than 2 seconds for the menus to drop down first time I click on them (or hit Alt + F). Then they drop down just fine until I click on an image. Going back to the menu gives the same delay.Photoshop works just fine. This problem is isolated to Bridge. Has anyone else experienced this type of unresponsiveness?I’ve tried changing my preferences to “Use Software Rendering” but this did not help. “Keep 100% Previews In Cache” is checked.I'm running Windows 10 (20H2). System has 64GB RAM, Xeon E5-2687W v4 @ 3.00 GHz and plenty of space on the SSD.

Not sure why I'm having trouble with this. Working with a client folder of jpg files exported from Photos/iPhoto awhile ago, where keywords and/or descriptions had been added, and included on export. Searching with Bridge for known and expected keywords yields no results. I understand, perhaps incorrectly, that Apple uses IPTC standards, so I thought the search would find them. Am I overlooking something obvious?Thanks.

Hello, I have seen several posts regarding Bridge issues with Nikon raw files from a variety of Nikon models, but I want to be sure I confirm this before I actually pay money for a real image asset management app. I have 4tb out of 8tb used with images from NEF, TIF, PSD, JPG, etc and I select the drive, tell Bridge to include all subfolders and wait. It only shows me 8500 total files, clearly that is incomplete, to say the least. Then, I tried to search for .NEF extensions or simply search for RAW in file type (filter option not avilable and no NEF option under file type index, either), which seems amazing since practically every file on the drive is in .NEF format.Only found JPGS & TIFS and even though I selected 'no hidden files' I sure did get a TON of them, and only about 1/4 of those. What's the problem here? Hello, It was suggested to me to shoot in monochrome so I did and loved it. I was traveling when I downloaded my pictures on my laptop and when I brought them up in Bridge, they turned to color and it was AWESOME. So now I'm home and I pull up the same images in Bridge on my desktop and I cannot for the life of me get them in color. I have checked every setting and tried to research this subject with no availability. Can anyone help me?

I have freshly updated to Bridge 11.0.2.123 today, and I have a Nikon D750 DSLR shooting raw .NEF files, and a Samsung Galaxy S21 5G camera phone shooting raw .dng and .jpg files. The star ratings work for the NEF files from the Nikon, but not on any files from the phone. I've reset the preferences in Bridge, nothing changed. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hello, anyone knows why suddenly bridge is unable to export images?I'm stuck on a deadline....Big sur and latest version of Bridge on macbook pro....

I am in Bridge. As far as I can tell there is no longer any facility to flip horizontal.In order to do it I have to go into ACR (I am sure this was available previously)However, If I flip horizontal in ACR it shows correctly in the main view, but if I ctrl B to compare or ctrl L for slideshow, the flipping is not shown. See attached screenshots

I have always inserted my metadata to video projects in Bridge. However, until today I can no longer do this. I cannot type into the metadata field, nor can I apply a metadata template. Any help would be appreciated. 

Hello,     I'm trying to Edit the Metadata for a Photoshop file in Bridge.     When I click on any of the IPTC fields (e.g. Creator) I get an Error message saying that the Property cannot be modified. (Please see attached image).     The psd file isn't locked. It appears in Bridge as "I Want You, Baby.psd" - also shown in the attachment.     Any idea how to fix this?     Thanks in advance for your help.Regards,Rajnesh

Hi, I am having a problem with bridge where I can't change the metadata of the rating (stars) of my photographs. Here is the workflow of the problem. 1. If the rating is not, or has never been set in windows, bridge works fine to set it.2. If the rating is then set in bridge, the rating can be changed from bridge again without a problem.3. If the rating is then changed in windows/EXIF data bridge will reflect that change.4. If the rating is then changed in bridge after it is changed in windows/EXIF data (in step 3) the rating of the photo will not be changed in the EXIF data, BUT bridge will keep the new rating only visible in bridge. (I have no idea where this data is being kept.) 5. If the rating is changed in windows after it is changed in bridge after it is changed in windows (steps 3 and 4) the new EXIF rating will override the rating that bridge shows that doesn't get written to the EXIF data (step 4 will be ignored and the new EXIF data will ta

I'm presenting a bunch of photos that are a variety of sizes at least 1920 wide, but they do not fill the screen when I ask it to view in full screen. I think it's because I have a 2015 iMac with retina display. How can I get some of these image to show up loarger on my monitor?

Hi!So I'm on a 2015 iMac, Quad-Core i7, 32GB, AM Radeon R9 4GB Graphics and I've been using Bridge for years. However since the recent update, I'm unable to preview my video thumbnails, they just show as the Quicktime icon, which is a pain since I need to review the clips to help find what I need with ease. I also use to have the ability for the audio to play automatically when selected, but now nothing happens. Checking preferences, nothing has changed. I've uninstalled/reinstalled Bridge, installed an older version, cleared the cache, reset preferences, still nothing. Are there any tricks I'm missing that I should consider to restore this? I appreciate any assistance that can be provided. Thank you in advance!
