Please tell me if or when Adobe Bridge will be available for use on ARM devices (such as Microsoft Surface laptop)  

Hello everyone   This is probably a simple easy fix however I cant find it, and I really hope someone can help....   Mac user   My recent PS had to be reinstalled  (corrupt Mac update) ..   Using Bridge I was able to press 6 on the image and it went to red, 7 yellow, 8 green etc..  however with the re-install I am having to use the command key and then pressing the relevant number to chance the colour for the label.    I have searched and spent hours looking for the information to resolve this to no avail....    Can anyone help what I need to do to make it just one key?  - as it stands I have command & relevant number to change it,  I know it sound petty but its quite annoying.   Thank you for your attention    Regards   Dave

Files are copied from CFE card to an external disk.Bridge has the  permission of Full Disk Access.Bridge is up to date. This makes Br useless to me since I use it for file culling.I do it with DPP from canon last time.  Need your help guys.

Hi, I'm completely new to Bridge and I'm trying to work-out how effective it would be in solving my particular needs. I'm a Family Historian and have loads of genealogy photos, records and articles spread across many folders and subfolders on my laptop but all under a root directory GENEALOGY. If I go through everything and add the name of the person / people each item relates to as a Keyword, I see that I can then use Find to get a view of all items related to any given person (Keyword). That's great (and a big step forward from Windows File Explorer) except for the fact that I'd have to type in the name of that person in the Find > Criteria box every time. What would be better would be to be able to get up a list of all my Keywords (people's names) and just click on the person I wanted to find material for - across multiple folders. It seems that the Filter function offers such a list of Keywords but only for the files loaded in the Contents window and therefore not acro

Hello, Maybe someone has a tip for me. I’d like to set up a shared photo library for my team in Adobe Bridge. We want to organize our images and videos into different folders, and everyone should be able to access them at any time and upload additional files.We all have Adobe Creative Cloud licenses. Unfortunately, I can’t find a way to create and share a photo library there. I’d really appreciate any tips from the community if someone has had the same issue and found a solution.Thank you in advance! Best regards!

Hi all - I am coming from Photomechanic and being frugal, I am using and have been impressed with Adobe Bridge for viewing and captioning images. Is there a way to say add a library of players names from a team sport, then press a funtion key to insert names of players into the caption? Thank you in advance

Just installed the app. Collected the images together into a central location for easier indexing - my "Pictures" folder. Began trying to create subfolders and moving images into them. Worked well for a few seconds. Then ::POOF!:: They all disappeared. Every last sub-folder. And I could no longer access "Pictures". "Item does not exist". It most certainly DID exist. Deleted images no in my Trash Can. Nowhere to be found. ALL WITHIN 10 MINUTES. I officially hate Adobe.

Hi all, I'm sharing this here in case anyone else has the issue I just had. Bridge either crashed or I force-quit it while it was in the middle of a metadata operation, and after that it refused to write metadata to some random files. After some investigation, I found that I couldn't write metadata to the associated XMP files with any program. The problem is that Bridge marks the files as read-only while it's working on them, but doesn't unmark them when it's forcibly killed. This flag moves with the file, so copying the file or moving it to another drive doesn't fix the problem. My solution (Windows 10/11):Open the Command PromptRun the command, with <path> replaced with the path to the folder containing your files.attrib -r "<path>" /S /D​-r removes the read-only flag, /S applies this to all subdirectories, and /D applies this to folders as well.  There's likely a similar solution on mac but I'll leave that as an exercise for the reader.Hope this

I'm doing illustrations in Photoshop and using Bridge to sort through them.Every now and then, when going through older illustrations, I have the case where I am like "oh I don't need a .psd file of this sketch anymore, since I never worked further on it". So I usually export a JPEG and delete the PSD. Does anyone know if there is a way to save these actions (make JPEG, delete PSD) and bind a key to them? i really would like this to be simple so I could just press a single key and move on.

I've used Bridge for years, but it seems that with later cameras, like the Nikon Z9 it does not show thumbnails of nor play videos, unless there is some secret I don't know about.  I've never liked Lightroom, but I found that it does show theses thumbnails, which would make it much easier to add desired metadata without having to use free programs like Nikon Studio to show or play the video.  So I was trying to test how compatible the 2 program in the title.  I see that LR shows my entered metadata, and keywords.  but I also saw that it had dates for the videos, which bridge lacks.  I tried exporting a file with the date and also added a keyword, saving with the same file name and location and checking back to see the file in the same folder in Bridge and nothing new added.  Is there someone familiar with both programs who can explain why this is so.

Well a brand. new Macmini and a Studio Monitor and I can't access Files from an external  SSD, but, can access Files via "Finder" am running Bridge V 16.0.1  and Photoshop V 27.2, MacOS Tahoe 26.1  had all my data and Apps migrated from my old Imac 10 years old to the Macmini.Peter

Get this dialog when I launch Bridge 16.0.1.18 (latest): “Adobe Bridge 2026.app” would like to access data from other apps.When 'allowing' it just comes back on every launch. Not a huge deal, but very annoying.

Bridge is taking forever to load thumbnails, then eventually crashes.  HELP!!

in LR Classic I see the (sub)location and country where the photo was taken, but not in Bridge... Of course I enabled XMP and IPTC Core 

I would like to export a field from a FileMaker database to Bridge.More specifically:I have about 100 photos in the FileMaker database, each with a detailed description (title, technique, size, etc.); the individual details are then combined in a formula to form an overall description for each image:e.g., Bouquet of Flowers - Watercolor - 18x24This formula field now needs to be exported for all 100 photos to a metadata field for the corresponding photo in Bridge, e.g., description, so that I can then access it in Lightroom or InDesign.Is there a workflow for this?

Issue: Bridge stops responding when I try to access settingsBridge version: 2026 16.0.0.63OS version: Sequoia 15.6.1 I am trying to get the file size, dimensions in inches and pixels, etc. to show under the thumbnails in bridge. When I try to access settings, Bridge stops responding and I have to force quit.I expect it to take me to a window in which I have access to make these changes.I have already given bridge full disk access in settings and purged the cache.
