I signed up for the free trial, as a teacher. I can not figure out how to HOST a webinar/meeting.
So, first off: you can't use the typing function very well. The keyboard covers the text you are typing, and if you minimize the keyboard to see what you've typed then bring the keyboard back up it automatically homes you to the beginning of the string, so you can't edit. You also can't then delete what you wrote because cell phones only have a backspace key, not a delete key. You also can't "select all" or any other text functionality. So that's an explitive. Then the video is terrible quality and I get tons, absolutely obscene amounts of garbled audio. I pick up maybe 50%-85% of what the speaker says, and I have issues broadcasting my own A/V, recipients once described it as i paused, then did everything at 2x speed. Then there's the issue of there not actually being any settings you can select from in the app. So that alone makes the thing practically worthless. Good morning to those users in my part of the world: UK. Afternoon/Evening to others in the wider community. All hail ADOBE for their quality products and ridiculously generous online support/offer for the next couple months during the Covid-19 crisis. Like others, I am trying to move my private tuition business online at the drop of a hat. I have just signed-up for today's Connect Daily Demo at 8pm my time [UK-GMT] but the registration form had a problem accepting my address. 'Country' is okay as the UK but there is no appropriate drop-down choice for 'state' which is mandatory otherwise the form fails to submit ... and you have to start all over again. I chose "Armed Forces Europe" because I had no other choice. There are US and US-related states, Asian and Australian cities but no UK cities. Understandable - it's become crazy very quickly - and you cannot include ALL cities but guys, how about a generic term for us in this world corner?
HelloI have been trying to use Adobe Connect so that I can get my online classes. Whenever I mute the sound, the camera of the host works fine. But, when I unmute the speakers (in the program) the camera freezes and I cant hear any noise or sound from the host as well. I tried to reinstall the program, etc. Can anyone help me about this issue? Thanks.
Is it possible to use the isaddin property to determine if a user is using the addin or browser? Creating a custom pod and I am able to use syncconnector.isaddin to see if I am using the add in but I am trying to loop through the userlist to tell if participants are using the addin. Any help would be amazing as documentation is very limited it seems!
While I can fully use Adobe Connect on my company's account without any issues (both audio and microphone) as a host, I cannot get my microphone working using Adobe Connect for Meetings (25) that I downloaded recently (taking advantage of the free trial). I know how to align the Windows 10 audio configuration with the AC setup (I clearly do because I can use AC as a host otherwise - in fact, I did so just a couple of hours ago). When I run Audio Setup Wizard, the audio plays fine. After selecting the microphone (and ensruing that it is the same as Windows thinks it should be), the Record button shows as RED but when I click on it, no audio is recorded. In fact, it's like AC is ignoring my click of the Record button ... nothing happens.I should add that I also have the Adobe Flash Player Settings set correctly: Allow access to my camera and microphone.Help!
How do about canceling my adobe connect license. I use to be able to do it form the dash board -->administration--> service plan but now that link directs me to a help page.
Hello! Could you please tell me how to manage the audio feature in Adobe Connect during webinars and meetings? I cannot manage to allow my participants to respond to me when I am speaking. It's either them or me. So, how can I have a discussion?

I have a Canon HD camera to a BlackMagic mini recorder box using HDMI, then using a thunderbolt cable we run that into a MAC. The output video shows up in other applications like Zoom, but does not even give me the option under "Select Camera" in Adobe Connect Desktop. Help Please.

Dear Customer Service,I have this account for three since I think 15 years, when it was a generous promotion. I am using it to show the classroom in seminars, so I am actually promoting it:) My situation at the moment is the following. I am working for a German University which uses Adobe through DFN but due to Corona the usage is limited. However, I would like to offer my team a short introduction to Adobe and would like to record this. Unfortunately the recording is not activated in my room. Is there any way of monitoring real time usage on Adobe Connect? There is nothing on the admin pages to let you know what current usage is: number of concurrent users connected *right now*, for example.

Not necessarily will I be using this video chat software (but still virtual learning on google hangouts) but is there any way which I can use green screen in the background of my video of my choice while chatting etc
We have event clients that are looking to expand their use of virtual meetings utilizing platforms like Connect. We're hired to create and manage more 'produced' events that - in addition to smart and creative uses of Connect's presentation functionality - require external camera or switched program feeds as live sources in the meeting. I've not found current posts in this forum specifying which (if any) HD encoders or capture cards are supported by Connect. In most cases we would use an HDMI, USB3 or Thunderbolt-connected device from Matrox or BMD, but obviously the drivers for those devices need to be recognized by the Connect application as a 'camera' or accepted input source. Are there supported devices can currently be used for external 720p or 1080i live video inputs? (In earlier iterations we were able to use a Matrox capture card that Connect recognized as a web cam, transcoding HD to a lower res., but we're hoping the current platform has evolved on this front.) I'm am new to Adobe Connect. I have a PowerPoint with some embedded videos. Do I need to upload the video mp4 files separately and run them outside of the PowerPoint I upload to the documents pod? Running a MacBook Pro with Mojave 10.14.6 OS
Is there documentation for making Adobe Connect Web Services API calls in versions 10.x vs 9.x? Or is it safe to assume that all API calls can still be done the same? We're currently on version 9.5.7 and upgrading to 10.6.1. We want to know if this will require changes to the code base. The API reference guide states "Applies to: Adobe Connect 9 " but I can't find a similar guide for version 10.WebServices API Reference
I'm looking for a solution to cover the following:Person I (interviewer) is interviewing Person E (interviewee) remotly (using audio/video).Person T (translator) watches the videostreams of I+Es cams and listens to their audio in order to translate it simultaneously into another language. Person W (watcher) watches the interview of I and E, but listens to the translation of T. Of course Ts audio channel hast to be muted for I+E. Does Adobe Connect provides a solutions for this? I am trying to view the recording of a meeting that was recorded with the Adobe Connect, but the license has currently expired and I was wondering whether I can view the recordings with the trial version without licensing it or do I need to purchase Adobe Connect to view those recordings.
I just downloaded the trial version and set up my meeting. Everything looked good, but when I asked someone to log-in as a guest they got a message saying that the number of users had exceed the limit. I thought we could have up to 25 users join the webinar? Maybe I'm missing a setting...? Sharon
Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but I didn't see Adobe Connect listed on the product page. I'm having some difficulty figuring out what I'm doing wrong with custom layouts in Adobe Connect. My client will be delivering a two day training course with multiple breakout sessions. Each breakout session will be different, with different activities and different content, so I need several different layouts. I created a new custom layout for Breakout Session 1, which contains a video the students need to watch and then a set of questions they work on collaboratively. I used a share pod for the MP4 and a whiteboard for the Q&A. This content will be the same for all four rooms in Session 1, and testing shows that everything is working. The problem is when I get to Breakout Session 2 (a second, custom layout I called Breakout Session 2). This session will require the breakout groups to review a case study and answer questions which will be shared with the whole class a
Hi All! I've searched for hours and can not find this anywhere online, or in Adobe Download & Update pages. There are short videos and tutorials about the feature, but they are quite dated. I'm looking for the actual installer or file to download. I've sent invites a number of times and it's not getting sent from Outlook or received by my test participant, so there is got to be a plug-in somewhere out there I need to install, right? HELP!
