the program opens, but when I click on the create new button, there is a long download and the program does not open.

im open dimension that  no have anything. what  error , how solve thank you 🙂 

Is there a way to import a mtl with a obj file?  When I import an obj it shows up in dimension blank white. 

Hey New to Dimension but someone who is a Photoshop user of maybe 12 years this program is PERFECT and so simple for me! Currently on day 1 but the controls are a walk in a park because of how similiar to Photoshop it is. Look forward to what I can create here, any cool tutorials send my way please! Here is something cool I created quick

After an automatic update to the latest version of Photoshop I can't edit textures from Dimensions. The option to open a texture in Photoshop from the Properties Panel doesn't work anymore. When I click on edit or double click the image, nothing happens. After restarting my Mac, I had a chat with support and he installed a previous version of Photoshop, but the issue still remains. I hope with the next update, that will hopefully coming soon, this issue will be resolved. In the meantime, any tips and help how I can access textures that are saved in a Dimension file are much appreciated. I could export the model, open in another 3D software, edit the texture and bring it back to Dimension - but I don't want to go that path.

Hello, Im having trouble starting Dimension on MacOS Big Sur 11.6.I have uninstalled and reinstalled and its opens Adobe verification and doesn't start up.I have also uninstalled, reinstalled and repaired Creative Cloud and still doesn't open.I have troubleshooted by giving all permisions in my security setting and nothing. Pleaser advise.

Is anyone else having these issues?Dimension was working relatively fine before, then I kept being forced to restart the app because tools and moves will just stop working.Like simply swithcing to a different tool, or attempting to select something, or simply trying to move something, either with the moves tool or by dragging from the cone shapes on the move tool indicators.One time it seemed to fail when zoomed in, but when zoomed back out it seemed to register my actions again, but inevitably failed again.Restarting the app gets the functions back again, until they inevitably fail again.  If that’s not all, I’m on a M1 iMac 2021, Big Sur (not updating yet because I heard some USB periferals have been failing with Moneterey), 8 GB of ram, and plenty of storage and external hardrive storage as well. 

Hi,I can't seem to figure out why the curves on my 3d models are rendering straight lines instead of curved lines.see attached image:  edges should be round, how can i fix?

- Is Adobe Dimensions actually using the special raytracing cores of a nvidia RTX GPU? Or is it just using the "normal" cores of an RTX card?- Is it the same for interactive raytracing and output raytracing?

Hi, have been experiencing a "Unable to open document" in dimensions 3.4.4.  There has been some discussion about this issue but I could not locate any real solutions so I contacted tickets@adobedimension.com on the 23rd October but have not received a reply. I did some tests and seem to have found an easy solution. Drag the file(s) you cannot open out of the CC folder and back again. They now open. Just wait a while between dragging them out and back. For anyone experiencing this issue I hope this solution works for you.

I created a 3D object on photoshop using a PNG image. Once imported to Dimension using OBJ, the image and texture are not attached. I believe they are saved as separate files but how can I then add them to dimension maintaing the same image and aspect? 

Hi, I have a questions about modifying models and basic shapes. I want to create a packaging visual of a box with an outer cardboard sleeve. My process of thought was:- There is a cube box in models which is perfect for the box.- There is a hollow cube in models which I thought would work for the sleeve but I am unable to adjust its thickness, so it's not a good option for the sleeve.- I used planes in the basic shapes to build the four sides of a sleeve. But I cannot adjust the plane thickness and when I place a graphic onto the place it's transparent.  My questions:» can the hollow cube thickness be modified?» can the plane thickness be modified? (Y size is 0 and cannot be changed but X & Z can be changed)» can the plane be made opaque? I have tried adding material etc without luck. Refer attached visual.  Surely they can be adjusted and there is probably an easy solution I have missed.  I using the Dimensions 3.4.4 (OS big sur) and 3.

Usually when I pressed edit, photoshop opened and I could edit my graphic/decal in there. Few days later I tried to do the same thing, but photoshop would not open. Please help 🙂

Using Dimension 3.4.4 on the Mac and all Adobe apps on my computer recently. When I attempt to "edit" an image in Photoshop from Dimension nothing happens when I click on the pencil icon. My photoshop was recently updated to Photoshop 2022. Do I need to somehow let Dimension know that it should be using the new version of Photoshop? If so, how do I do that? Thank you!

Hi! I installed Dimension last night (V 3.4.4). I guess you'd call it the canvas screen/area is constantly flickering. See attached file. I am new to Dimension. Do I need to set something somewhere? Thanks! -Ro 

When the rendering reaches 50%, it freezes, the MAC is restarted, and the work is wasted. In addition, recent cloud renderings tend to stop at 50% and download broken PSD files. This month, about 3 broken files were returned by cloud rendering. I used cloud rendering in version 2.3. This is because it cannot be used with version 2.3.1.

Hello, its not possible to buy Dimension separate? I have abonament for photograpgers and I want add only Dimension. I must buy all-app abonament to get Dimension?!

It is reasonable to adjust the size of the object and the scaling map changes with the object, but I first adjust the size of the object and then put the map in. When the size of the map changes, it is very unreasonable, so I need to adjust the size of the map twice. Of course, I can export obj first and then import it, so that the size attribute of the object will become 1:1:1, But it's too troublesome. I don't think the map size changes with the adjusted object size.

I keep trying to export using the high resolution setting but it still gives me a low resolution image. I've even tried to bump up the ppi from 72 to 300 and nothing changes. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know! 

调整物体的大小缩放贴图也跟随着物体而变化是合理的，但是我先调整了物体的大小，然后再把贴图放进去，贴图的尺寸变化了就很不合理，这样就需要我需要二次调整贴图的尺寸。
