Questions

O programa inicia normalmente, sem nenhum problema. Mas quando crio um novo arquivo ou abro algum já existente, não vejo nada, a tela onde deveria estar a prancheta fica toda preta. Já desinstalei e instalei de novo mas não mudou nada. Preciso urgente do programa para fazer meus trabalhos da faculdade. Alguém pode me ajudar por favor?

So I have two documents, each has about 300 artboards each. Each artboard has a layer with the graphic that is on this artboard. Now I need to combine these into one document - how do I copy 300 artboards with their contents into another document, ideally also preserving the layer structure?

Is there a such thing as a date/time object in Illustrator? I make these design plans for my company all the time and they always need to include the date. It'd be awesome if there was a was to insert a little text box that says "CreateDate/Time: Month, day, year" or something like that. I've been having this issue for a while, but my animated zoom seems to randomly stop working. I'll exit Illustrator, open it back up, and it will work again (same document) for a while. I had this issue with an old document I was working on that had a wild amount of layers/textures/you name it, so I assumed that file was simply too complex for my computer and it made sense. This file that I'm working on now though only has 3 shapes, two of which have simple opacity masks on them. I've worked on way more complex files on my computer and not had any issues, so I'm not sure why it's happening now. Any help would be appreciated. (I already made sure that animated zoom is turned on)

Recently updated to the 2022 apps. I use Illustrator and Photoshop at my business. Both have become almost unusable. I'm on Windows 11 with 16GB RAM, i7, nVidia Quadro P400. Every single thing I try to do is extremely laggy, more in Photoshop but also in Illustrator. One thing I did notice when I did this update was the fans on my PC fired up like a jet. Anyone else ran into this and found a solution?

I am trying to write a Javascript that can do the following:  1) Select an object whose note has <Object Name> (so its layers is also selected)2) Duplicate the layer of that object3) Rename the new layer to <Layer Name>4) Apply a swatch to the object on the new layer (the object is only single colour)5) Apply a new note to the object (over-writing the original note).  I also want to write a separate script that can do the following:1) Select an Object whose note has <Object Name> (so its layer is selected as well)2) Hide all other layers3) Save a copy of the document with a specific name  I can do this as an Illustrator action. However, I need several different copies of the scripts where the Object Name, Layer Name, Swatch and File Name changes.Re-recording the action to change the names is cumbersome. I made an action to clear guides and call it from a script but in case there are no guides this error apears. Is it possible to not show this error if there are no guides in the current document?   I did not find function doScript in Illustrator scripting guide.

Aussi, ma question est la suivante : est-ce que mon visuel risque d'être pixellisé ? En effet, lorsque je zoome sur mon image celle-ci est quasi nette mais lorsque je dézomme celle-ci est très pixelisée... donc faut-il que je me fie aux pixels que je voie lorsque je zoome ou aux pixels lorsque je dézoome ? Car le rendu ne sera donc pas le même...Merci pour vos réponses.

Dear all, I used to export the png files to my local disk from illustrator, but now I want to improve some of my workflow when I'm working on different devices so I would like to export my files in png but directly to creative cloud storage, not the local disk. I know I'm able to save the illustrator file itself to my cloud, my when I tried exporting, it didn't show the option to choose to save to my Creative Cloud. Is there a way to do this instead of going around like save on the local disk and upload to the cloud? Thank you.Karen

Hello, I have recetly encountered a problem where if I open a 2048x2048 px image in Illustrator it scales it down to 1536x1536 px. If I open a 6144x4096 px image it scales it down to 4608x3072 px.I have encountered this issue on Illustrator version 28.1.0.141 after which I updated to version 29.0.0.186 but the issue still remains.

I love working in the outline view, but sometimes the bright white of the art board in that view can feel overwhelming. I'd love to see a dark mode for the outline view where the lines are white or light gray and the artboard is a dark gray. Custom colors for outline view would be nice as well so users could pick a color combination that they find most comfortable. I'd love to hear if anyone else would like that feature too.

Hey all, is there a way to Add a handle without having move the other one? This is true for corner point where I delete one of the handles, but then decide later on i want the other side of the corner to have a bit of a curve so i need to add in the handle that i deleted, but then when using the anchor point tool it causes the one that i worked on already to move as well... -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------To be clear, once again I am not talking about moving a single handle,Im talking about when I only have a single handle adjusted perfectly, then decide I need another But in order to add the other handle I (as of now) need to use the anchor point tool to drag out oneHowever in doing so causes my perfectly adjusted handle to move as well...

My AI just updated to 2024, the plug-in for Cutting Master 4 did not transfer over from the AI 2023 version. I really like CM4 more than CM5. CM5 is still new and a little buggy. I have tryed uninstalling CM4 and reinstalling it with AI shut down. It still didnt add the plug-in. So I went to Graphtec's website and looked at the system requirements for both CM4 and CM5, nither one say they support AI 2024.I would really like to use CM4, but if I HAVE TO upgrade to CM5 I will. Does anyone know what i can do here? I NEED this plugin to work!

What is the best way to wrap text to fit a shape like in the picture? I've tried making with top object but it becomes a mess with the peaks in the mountains. Thanks.
