Trying to save a document in Adobe illustrator when saving document will process up to 30% then stops.With saving in a different file format the document will save after illustrator states it has stopped responding then it will re-engage with the save.I have updated the software to the latest version. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled software and none of us has fixed the issue.Please can you advise

Hi, i'm curious, does anyone else using Windows 11 having copying problems in illustrator ?I'm experiencing severe lag in copying live text! I need to hit 'copy' anything from 3 up to a dozen times for it to finally copy something! This seems to only apply to live text for me, not for paths, and it is only an issue in Windows 11, not on my other system which runs Windows 10. It also makes no difference which font i'm using.Quite frustrating! I'm wondering why it would even be an issueD 

Forever - and I mean FOREVER - I've been able to hold down the command key and the space bar to get the MARQUEE ZOOM tool which I use ALL THE TIME. Now suddenly - I guess in the hopes that it justifies the absolutely ridiculous 20% increase in the price of CC in a market where graphic artists are getting replaced by ADOBE'S AI - the marquee zoom either no longer works at all, or Adobe pulled another Adobe and decided their terribly inefficient version of the zoom should now be the default and in order to go back to the way it's worked SMOOTHLY and FOREVER - we have to come to the site here in the hopes someone can tell us what is happening and which magic boxes we need to check or uncheck to get it back to working the way IT'S ALWAYS WORKED. I swear if they gave out awards for companies who make life hard for their customers - Adobe would win every freakin' year. Anyway, is there a kind soul in the room (not as frustrated as I am) who knows what happened to the MARQUEE ZOOM option

Hi everyone!I’m having an issue in Illustrator: I can’t resize text boxes from the edges — the same thing happens with photos/images. When I try to drag from the sides or corners, nothing changes. I’m not sure if it’s a setting I accidentally changed or if I’m using the wrong tool.Has anyone experienced this before? How can I fix it so I can freely make text boxes and images smaller or larger from their edges?Thanks in advance!

I have made this little script to quickly add margins to an illustrator document and am posting it here to anyone that might find this helpful.   The script will bring up a dialog where you can enter the sizes. Checking the equal box makes all sizes the same as the first. You have the option of using Millimetres, Inches or Pixels for your units and a last option to apply to all artboards or just the active one.   The script then adds the guides to a locked layer called 'Margins' for convenience.   There are two versions for your taste- The first creates 4 seperate guidelines. In preferences, confirmed that a compatible GPU exists. Also the animated zoom checkbox is checked. I have updated the graphics driver. But still animated zoon does not work.OS is Windows 10 64-bit and Illustrator version is 27.0. Animated zoom worked in previous versions of Illustrator. I have restarted Windows and Illustrator a number of times. Can anyone suggest what is wrong?

What kind of bug is this? It automatically changes the size in AI when I open it. If I close it without saving and open it again, the file is already changed and never reverts to the normal file.

I'm writing code to move the contents of a layer to another layer. Moving pageItems alone works fine, but when sublayers and pageItems are at the same level, I don't know how to move them while preserving their order.   As far as I know, the only way is to retrieve pageItems and layers separately, which results in two clusters after moving—like beer liquid and foam. How to solve this problem? using Mac with sequoia and the latest version illustrator 2025 in sept of 2025.For the past several months, when I drag or place a scan (jpg or tiff) into illustrator (2025) the image automatically shrinks down to 12% of actual size.   It's not because of resolution that I can tell. The actual pixel dimensions of the jpg are not matching up and I can see that by looking at the pixel dimensions in bridge and then comparing to the pixel dimensions in the links advanced panel. In this panel it's showing the size is only at 12% of actual size. Trying to then get the jpg to 100 percent size involves having to copy the correct dimensions and transform the jpg up to the correct size. Why is this happening and can I fix it? Is it a setting somewhere? 

In this example how it is known to the app that knockout is the stroke? because two images have been grouped.Knockouttime 0.57   

I have a Intel Ultra 9 & 5070ti and yet my illustrator runs like i'm working on a laptop of 15 years old. Whatever I do brings illustrator in the (not responding) state and I have tried some of the advised solutions on internet but nothing seems to work. I have updated it and the latest version is installed.

Hi. After logging out and in, uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting my ipad and my mac, I am resolved to asking for any knowledge or resolution anyone may have on this subject. I need to copy an image to illustrator desktop, but when i do share > open a copy > illustratory desktop, I get a "Export failed" note in a little blue box on the screen. It's become rather frustrating. Another problem is that when i resolve to export manually, the image I'm uploading can't be made into a repeat. The options for radial, grid, mirror are greyed out. I have done image tracing to turn the raster into a vector but this does nothing. It was working, then in one day, it stopped.I would greatly HUGELY appreciate a fix, or at the very least, a promise from the Adobe team that these issues - if technical, and not due to a lack of adobe graphics knowledge on my part - will be sorted and an update with the fixes be made asap. Hi,I'm new to Illustrator and trying to convert a phrase into a Raiders of the Lost Ark Style image as below. I need to angle and create depth and add the drop shadow as well as add the gradient. Hello! How can I make the logo/object at the bottom of this number become transparent? So you can "see through" the logo, replace the white with transparency.

i have designs with around 30 colours, with codes like these.  #009245 and #ec3744.
