Bonjour, J'ai un gros problème sur mon export indesign. Je dois faire une grande affiche ( 1 m pour 2,5 m de hauteur) avec en fond une image. Le probleme c'est que je ne trouve aucune image qui apres l'impression ne sera pas pixelisé. Je pense que c'est un probleme avec mon indesign, ma photo fait quand meme 5000 x 7000 px et 300 dpi mais elle reste pixelisé en mode taille reelle (avec performance d'affichage au max) comment je peux faire pour que celle ci ne soit pas pixelisée ? J'ai l'impression que c'est une probleme de mon indesign parce que c'est quand meme des photos immense.  

Working in InDesign 19.0.1 x64 on Windows, and I'm trying to turn off this action here...  ...but for the life of me I can't figure it out.I searched the discussions history, and most recent post was from 2017. Anyone have any suggestion(s)?

HI All,   I need to support urdu/arabic/persian typegraphy features in the non middle eastern version of InDesign. I knew that by using 'Adobe world Ready Paragraph composer', right justification and using fonts like - Noto_Nastaliq_Urdu, Jameel Noori Nastaleeq Kasheeda, Jameel Noori Nastaleeq Regular etc. Do I need to add my own custom composer to support it or what approach I need to choose. as I could not see kashida in character panel flyout menu and panel which can be seen in middle eastern version. Hi, We run 6 licences of InDesign CS5.5 that we bought 13 years ago on our PCs. As we replace and upgrade computers we've deactivated InDesign on the old PCs and reinstalled it onto the new ones and it has activated fine. Lately however we've tried this and are unable to activate the newly installed version, even though the previous one has been deactivated. We can't reinstall and reactivate on the old PC either so are now have one staff member stuck and unable to use InDesign.   Upgrading to the latest subscription model isn't an option as our system is offline (except when required for software activation) and financially it wouldn't work for us. I've seen some Adobe pages say that the licence servers for older CS versions are being retired so was wondering if this is the problem. In which case what can we do?     <Title renamed by MOD>

Having issues with a ARM surface pro beta releases.  Your InDesign (Beta) build has expired.  Is there a work around? There is no other avaliable InDesign version (so can switch to a full version) and no transparency on a full version release for a ARM machine. Help??

Hello all, I am inputting Georgian text into an Indesign file but I cannot find a font that supports this language. So far, I've tried Georgia Pro, Omnes Georgian, and Gill Sans Nova from Adobe Fonts. I've also tried the more typical ones such as Myriad Pro, Open Sans, etc. but nothing works. They all show as below: Please help. Thanks. Regards, Sara

My apologies if this post appears twice but I can find no record of what I believed I posted a few hours ago. I have just migrated everything from an older mac to a mac mini and most applications seem to be working fine although for some reason I had to re-install the Creative Cloud app. Except for InDesign (version 19.5 which worked on the older mac).When I open a file, all linked photos on the opened spread appear for a second, then they all disappear. “No errors” appears in the normal place at the bottom of the screen, and although all linked files show in the links panel, none indicates an error. Each one can be successfully re-linked individually, but I’m talking of school year-books with hundreds and hundreds of links.I have tried packaging a file from the old mac and manually copying the whole packaged folder to the mac mini, but it then misbehaves the same way.I have uninstalled then re-installed InDesign version 19.5, but the problem remains.

A few weeks ago, my creative cloud let me download Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign Beta, it's great, now for some reason I can't open InDesign saying that "Your InDesign (Beta) build has expired." I am trying to figure out what I need to do to fix it, and I can't find any answer.

How can I create custom shortcuts for different options for pathfinder? I searched for shortcuts in various commands inside the shortcut options by going to edit>keyboard shortcuts but couldn't find. 

Recently, I noticed a glitch where placed images would shrink back to the smaller size, with a dark striped background. I've changed previews but it doesnt solve the issue. Images to follow.    the box is the size of the labels when I placed and stretched the image to fit. Days later when I reopened the file, a lot of the images looked like this. Hello everybody, I have a quite annoing problem with my team. We work on a strategic content called "white paper" that we build on inDesign. When exporting the PDF to publish on the website we have visualization problems on some browser, mainly on Chrome that doesn't show some images that are inside the PDF. https://www.eng.it/content/dam/eng-portal/resources/documents/trend-radar/generative-ai/ENG24_TR-Gen-AI_IT.pdf    This is an example. At page 4 there's the rest of the image that is at page 3 that doesn't show up.   Same thing happes here at page 9: https://www.eng.it/content/dam/eng-portal/resources/documents/white-paper/portfolio/energy-utilities/ENG24_WP_Smart-Energy_IT.pdf   On page 26 it shows the image but doesn't have a yellow overlay that we placed on the mastro to make the image turn to yellow.   If you download the file and open it on Acrobat Reader everything show up correctly.   Does anybody know how we can fix this problem?Thanks, Dan

The second letter disappears when exporting to PDF when Drop cap is applied. Indesign 19.5 MEas you can see. One image in InDesign and the other from the PDF.The problem appears starting from version 19. The version with the most problems in the history of Adobe InDesign 

I need help! Please !!!!! Indesign is crashing after export to PDF.  I am running ID 19.5. Sequoia 15.0.1. This is so chronic that I can't get work done. I have rebuilt the file that I have used for the last first years and that has not worked either. Is it the operating system or the Indesign verion or both? Does anyone know if there is a way to export data from InDesign pages to use in Excel or anywhere else? I have a catalog and need to create an index from the pages including items from different text boxes and the pages they appear on. Every time I change the margin size in Indesign all text from page 129 to 541 disappears.  Any advice would be appreciated.     <Title renamed by MOD>

There must have been a crash months ago where these 4 files were open. Now everytime I load indesign it loads these same 4 files. Any idea how to stop this? There must be a crash cache somewhere that is stuck or some file I can just delete. It opens the actual files and shows them as "unsaved". An idlk file also shows up in that folder for each file (although maybe that is normal).       <Title renamed by MOD>

Hi all, I have two monitors. Main 28" Philips 288E2A, 4K 3840 × 2160 and second 24" Philips 243V7QJABF, Full HD 1920 × 1080. When I have windows on the main monitor everything is fine - all cursor sizes are the same and the desciption is visible as on this picture. When I have windows on the second monitor, the description is not visible and every cursor other than the arrow is bigger as on these pictures. Cursors are the same size even if I change their size to maximum in windows preferences. In that case the arrow is huge, but the other cursors are still the same size as in the described situation - so they are now small compared to the arrow.It only happens in Indesign, other Adobe programs don't have this problem.Main display has scale 175%, second 100%.If I set the main monitor to 100% scale, everything is fine on the second monitor as well. Cursors are all the same size and descriptions are displayed. But with 100% scaling of the main monitor I can´t work. Everythi

I am in the middle of putting together an extremely important document. I've been working on it throughout this week, saving, opening, and closing it with no issue as my work developed. Today, I restarted my computer to do system updates, making sure to close all my documents before I did so. When my computer restarted, my indesign document was suddenly a version from a week ago, all of my work this week having disappeared.     Is there anything that I can do to recover my work? No auto-recovery menu popped up when I booted up Indesign - so the file was not closed improperly. My company's IT can't seem to find anything in the server where the file is located. The Recovery folder in my Cache shows some files listed with today's date - but it seems like there's nothing I can do to access whatever that stuff is.    Any help would be appreciated. Hello, I am currently working on a program for a show. A problem I have ran into is that when the InDesign projects is exported, some of the pages will have bolder text than others, despite being the same font style, no stroke applied, etc. I have attached an example on 2 side-by-side pages in my exported PDF. When I add new content to a document and then attempt to update the Table of Contents as normal (layout > Update Table of Contents), the title remains but all the entries disappear. After a good long while trying to figure this new unwelcome development out, I've discovered the Table of Contents menu isn't saving the entries for the "included paragraph styles" and their related entry style. I have to add them back in every single time I want to update the TOC. After so many years using INDD, this is a real PITA.  Using INDD 19.5 Windows 10 x64.   <Title renamed by MOD>
