Szenario:1. Rate images in Bridge.2. Import directory of images into LrC.3. ReRate images in Bridge.4. LrC does not see updates, but directory must be removed and newly re-imported. Q: Is there a way not having to re-do step 4 every time one re-rates images? 

Hi everyone, I have a problem with my develop page. When I move from one image to another in Lightroom Classic, the page reloads twice and this is really annoying. Is there a solution? I also think this appeared in the 13.5 update

Veuillez réinstaller Adobe       Photoshop 2024 et réessayer. J'ai réinstallé LRC et PS mais cela n'a pas corrigé le problème. Que puis je faire ?

Hallo zusammen, ich wollte auf einem Macbook (macOs High Sierra 10.13.6) Lightroom 6 per DVD installieren.Zuvor war auf dem Rechner Lightroom 5 installiert. Alles lief ohne Probleme. Was ich gemacht habe: Lightroom 5 deinstalliert. Und zwar habe ich das Lightroom Icon einfach nur in den Papierkorb verschoben.  Danach habe ich Lightroom 6 installiert. Leider bekomme ich immer folgende Fehlermeldung (siehe Anhang.) Der Computer ist aber mit dem Internet verbunden und Uhrzeit und Datum sind korrekt eingestellt. Wenn ich auf dieser Fehlermeldung auf "Support" klicke, steht dort, meine Seriennummer wäre ungültig? Die Software wurde aber zuvor noch nirgendwo installiert. Ich hoffe auf Hilfe. Lightroom lässt sich derzeit überhaupt nicht mehr öffnen (da die 7 Tage Testversion abgelaufen ist) Danke und Grüße     

I've never found a workflow that works well in my use case — hoping some of you all can help:1) Shooting Tethered to a desktop (Lightroom Classic)2) Sometimes Processing on that Machine but...3) Sometimes need to process on a second machine I'd prefer to keep everything in Classic (since the tools aren't quite the same between them, and I have a different license on the second machine anyway). The online editor doesn't work very well for my needs. I'm fine connecting the machines to transfer images, but want to make it simple, fast and seamless. Any thoughts are much appreciated!

I was looking through the SDK documentation and cannot find a way to Paste Previous via the SDK. Am I missing something?

Hi I recently had an external hard drive fail, I bought a new external drive, but Lr is looking for the original to back up to. The disks are from different manfacturers, how do I change the destination to back up to the new external drive?

Hi there, I have MacOS Sequoia. When i importing photos to my lrc, it saya the file cannot be preview. Why this happen because the files was fine if I open in lr mobile. I am new to mac and lrc, i hope someone can help me. Thanksss

How do I get LRC 24 to show a subfolder already created in the parent folder? Yes, I have ticked and unticked the "show subfolders" option, I have tried to "Synchronized" folder etc. etc. Nothing seems to work. I can see the folder in question in Bridge but not in LRC. The other subfolders show with their pictures. Not one. What's up with that?* For those who need to know. I'm using windows 11, the latest LRC version update, same for the other Adobe suite programs, the folder is in an external drive, (Seagate 4tb Red -yes it is connected). I have chosend for LR to backup when rebooting (5 times), changed the view to dark and back to day on desktop, cursed a bunch of times, watched Terry White videos in search of answer, prayed a few more times too. I hope I haven't forgotten something that someone may ask in order to help me with this topic. Thank you in advance!! 

I'm running LR Classic 11.2 and when I import Nikon Z9 Raw Files the jpeg preview image (which matches what I see on the camera) gets replaced by the raw file that has no adjustments to it.  Previously what I saw on the camera downloaded to what I saw in Lightroom as a RAW file, but not anymore.  The Z9 is new, perhaps I need to tweak a setting on it to prevent Lightroom from overriding the profile?  Please help...this is really frustrating!  Apologies to all of you who have read and responded to this complaint before.   

I have a camera club member with a serious issue opening their existing catalog in Lightroom Classic on their Windows 11 laptop.  Been struggling with the issue of LRc not launching (although running in the background according to Task Manager).  I have completely removed all Adobe products and re-installed Lightroom Classic and have been able to get it to lauch properly.  I have successfully created a new Test catalog and improted a handful of photos into it BUT the moment I try and open their catalg (which is about 395Mb in size) the problem with the launch failure starts up again.  Any suggestions as to what might be the issue with the catalog that is causing this problem and if it can be corrected (OR should we restart the import process with all their photos once again into the Test Catalog that I created?)

Hi, is some day that each time I open Lightroom Classic I receive a message (see attached screenshot) for unexpected closing of Lightroom Classic even if the application never closing.Note that I'm experiencing the same with LightroomCan anybody help me to fix the problem?The software is running on a MacBook Pro OS Sonoma 14.6.1Thanks

During my workflow with LRC and PS, sometimes PS just will not save back to LRC no matter how many times I try. It says saving at the bottom of PS but never shows back up in LRC. I've tried restarting both programs and my desktop, I've updated both apps. This happens frequently and really disrupts the workflow so I'm hoping someone here can help me! I'm at a loss. I use Windows on Desktop with Lightroom Classic and Photoshop for reference. 

I can only export 10-12 images from LrC (11.4.1) to JPEG files/minute.  This is an issue when trying to deliver 1500 images to a client soon after an event completes.  It takes me over 2 hours to export these images. My catalog and images are stored on an internal 2T SSD drive, and I export JPEGS to this same SSD drive.  My export speed is 10-12 images/minute; my collecgues who also shoot these same events are averaging 3X this speed.  Interested in your thoughts as to how I might accelerate my exports. Tx.    My 2019 MPB w 2.4Ghz, 8-Core Intel i9 processor should have more than enough resources to run this export VERY fast.  BlackMagic Design shows read and write speeds in excess of 2600 MB/s.   During export: CPU runs at 60%, 25G of 64G memory is being used, with 16G additional as cache;  I have run many different tests, none of which have helped performance.  Tests include: 1) exporting old NEF files to see if my

I downloaded Lightroom classic, recently a problem occured. Whenever I press open or double click on the Lightroom classic Icon, nothing happens. The application doesn't open, or atleast not visibly. When I go to my task manager to see which apps are running, Lightroom classic is in there. Which I find weird, since It won't show up on my screen or work. How can I fix this?

I downloaded LR Profile from the Archetype Process and accidentally deleted a couple from the LR panel. When I try to reinstall them, I receive an error that says that items have already been imported. Where can I find them on my PC or resolve the issue?

Hey yall! I downloaded some new presets from 123presets and since then my masks (no matter which one) doesnt work properly. The cover overlay doesnt work and dont show any slider adjustments. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thank so much! 

What on earth? Too many keyboard commands and not enough control... now this happens, everything is black and I can't get back to my working screen area. Does anyone know what this is and how to turn it off? TIA, if you do you are a hero to me while I'm trying to finish a project. I'm literally locked out of Lightroom until this is resolved... Who thinks up this stuff?

I import my photos by inserting the SD card in the slot in my laptop and importing into LR Classic.  Lately, I've been having a problem with the numbering sequence. I name my photos by date with a number extension.  I.E. 8-31-23-1, -2, -3, etc.  There have been several times lately that I have done this.  The photos show up in order (they are sorted by capture time), but the numbers are all out of sequence.   8-31-23-1 is first photo.  Second should be -2, but it could be -10, next could be -3 or it could be -15.  This is extremely annoying.  It never happened until recently.  Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it? Thanks.  

I just got LRC 13.5 and I like to import my old LR6 catalogue. It happily starts coverting and then it fails. Is this at all possible or do I do something wrong?   Many thanks in advance Johannes   {Moved from Lightroom Cloud to Lightroom Classic Forum by Moderator}

I have Lightroom Classic, Photoshop, and Lightroom (Not Classic). I cannot get LrC to open on my computer. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I've tried to clear out my preferences when uninstalling, and I've tried Alt + Shifting while clicking on LrC to officially clear out my preferences. I can get it to work on my mother's computer, but I can't get it to work on mine. Please help. I need LrC for both school and for business opportunities. Both Lr regular and PS work correctly, but LrC does not. I don't know what else to do to get it to work.

Suddenly when uploading pictures to make a book I get the message that the frame is to small. Not enough picksels to print a sharp foto. All my recent pictures have this problem. Made with two different camara's. How kan I enlarge the picturen using all necessary pixels.On the screen of the computer the picture get smaller in stead of larger when clicking to enlarge. How to solve?

Importing the DNG vom Leica TL using Sigma 45 2.8 L-Mount provides in LRC and LR super servere colorshifts. Importing to other RAW converters does not have any issues with color shifts at all. LRC says, that the integrated profile got applied. But it seems that LRC and LR are not able to read correctly the integrated profile of that lens? Sample DNG Export fron LR attached here.
