Hi, I was wondering if there is a limit to how many images Lightroom can batch process without 'messing' up? That's the only thing I can think of that is happening.I have 1135 images from a night sequence of shots.Viewed in their raw state - all the images are about the same in terms of exposure, color, etc.I had initially applied a preset to all of them which included denoising when I noticed the issue.So to test, I started over in a new folder, putting a copy of the raw files there and imported them 'new'.This time I only applied a batch of denoising with enhance under the Photo Tab.After that was done, I selected all the dng files only and in development hit the Reset button to have a 'plain' preset to test and used synchronized button with all options selected except masks.I let this process, but the same results came out.A number of images had glaring differences from each other - like a different preset had been applied to them.Can't figure out what's going on or how to get the s

Bought a new Macbook M3 Pro (18gB), with Mac OS Sonoma version 14.6.1. tried to install LrC version 13.5.1, but it does not start and provides error message and closes-down. Reinstalling LrC did not help, not option + shift at start-up to renew preferences did not help.  How can i fix this?Thanks, Jules   

The past few weeks, Lightroom has been unusably slow! Every time I zoom in or out, I get the Mac Spinning Beach Ball for several long seconds, like half a minute or so. It makes going through hundreds of photos excrutiating, and I'm having to use Capture One just to get things done!   Also when trying to go into Full Screen mode, the screen goes black and it says "Loading," but it never does, so I have to use the arrow keys to go back and forth to jog it to life, and when it does, it's often an older version of the image, until I job back and forth a few more times.   Acceleration is set to Default, which is on. Hola a todos.Reporto un inconveniente que estoy experimentando con Lightroom Classic. Hace ya algunas actualizaciones, se agregaron las funciones "select people" como opción en "Máscaras" y "Lens blur" con todas sus opciones. Ambas características funcionaron satisfactoriamente durante un tiempo pero, a partir de alguna actualización más o menos reciente (no recuerdo qué versión) dejaron de funcionar. En el caso de querer utilizar la máscara "select people" recibo siempre el mensaje "no people found".Cuando intento usar "Lens blur"....."analyzing..." hasta que finalmente recibo el mensaje de error "Something went wrong. There was an unexpected error and your request could not be completed".Repito que ambas funcionalidades operaban normalmente cuando fueron incorporadas a Lightroom y lo siguieron haciendo durante un tiempo. Utilizo Windows 10 y la última versión de Lightroom Classic (13.5.1).Agradezco desde ya todo comentario, consejo y/o recomendación.Saludos!

Please Sir, im usually rating my JPEGs in Adobe Bridge after a Shooting, so i can easily look at them in the Windows Explorer aswell. If im in Lightroom, i cant use the filter option, because it would show me the rated JPEGs only. And im using the RAWS to edit. Is there a way to rate both at the same time?

PHOTO BOOKS I’m trying to cut down the number of key strokes that  need to use to make a book.  I seem to be constantly changing font, size, colour, offset  etc … which is very time consuming.  My last book was 150 pages with over 1,100 images and a large amount of text.  Having to change all text settings each time a new page is added is so frustrating and such a waste of time.  How do I best make a book template for small landscapes books {10 x  8}?I want to standardise settings globally throughout the bookbackground colour - 65%font - Adobe Cleanfont colour - 35%font sizepage 12photo 8offsetHow do I best edit photo text especially when the font is really small?Why are page numbers sometimes not consistent  throughout the entire book?If I use one of my templates or use a previous book with all photos deleted, why do some pictures remain in  the book?How is it best to edit a photo that is already in a book? 

I have merged an old Lightroom Catalogue in to my Main Lightroom catalogue and accidentaly created duplicate images, thousands of them (sometimnes triplicates), I guess I must have performed the process before, foregotten, and not deleted the catalogues I was merged after I'd merged them.... then come back and done the process again... thus creating duplicates.My problem is I want to remove the duplicates without losing the edited versions; just those I have meged in.  The folder has many subsequent images which are not duplicated , so I cant start the process again?

Hello, If you have created more than 10 mask, Lightroom brush it's starting to work really slow because of multiple masks. Please improve this in the next release.  I've attached a GIF to see the behaviour of the app.    [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

iMac Pro (2017), macOS Mojave 10.14 Graphic Rodeon Pro Vega 64I installed the new version of Lightroom Classic CC, but when I tried to start Lightroom, I got permission issues. Then I tried every suggestion including changing the password that you suggest in your page. Unfortunately I still have the same problem. I uninstall the Lightroom then reinstall, that also did not work. So I went back and reinstall the older version. Any suggestions?

Hallo,   ich habe einen Hauptkatalog von Lightroom Classic mit 511.767 Fotos (momentane Größe 11,3 GB), der mit Lightroom synchronisiert wird. Dort verwalte ich alle Bilder, die ich mache, beruflich und privat. Er ist schon relativ alt (circa 10 bis 15 Jahre) und hat diverse Updates mitgemacht. Generell gab es einige Sachen, die schon seit Jahren extrem langsam abliefen, z.B. die Katalogsicherung (inkl. Optimierung) dauert immer um die 30 Minuten. Seit dem Update zu v13 reagiert aber alles so extrem langsam, angefangen beim Import der Bilder bis zum Anzeigen von neuen Sammlungen, die angelegt wurden (meistens werden sie erst beim Neustart des Programms angezeigt) und noch viele andere Sachen in der Bildbearbeitung, die ein reibungsloses und effektives Arbeiten unmöglich machen. Ich habe schon diverse Dinge versuchtum den Katalog, seine Größe und Geschwindigkeit zu optimieren, z.B. das Protokoll für die Bilder gelöscht, den Preview-Cache gelöscht usw. Es wird leider nicht besser. &

I can't update my Lightroom Classic and Photoshop. I keep getting this pop-up "Updates have been disabled for this machine. Please contact your administrator." How do I fix this ? Please help.

I have many Pixieset albums published through the LRC Pixieset plug-in within the Publish Services tab. Photos are missing from the pixieset albums in LRC, even recent albums. I'm using LRC 13.4 version. When I want to edit a photo from a certain event, I go to that folder and instead of having the hundreds of photos inside of it, it shows zero photos. Although none of the source albums are on the computer itself anymore, some albums still show photos from events, and some don't (picture). Please let me know if you're familiar with this or might have ideas. Hey there, i need to properly set up my color calibration with my Macbook Pro (m1 2020). I know, theres a lot of tutorials out there but a lof of them were wildly inaccurate! Ich weiß nicht, wie viele Stunde ich mich schon über lightroom classic geärgert habe, und hatte gehofft mit der neuen 13.3.1 Version würde alles besser. Mitnichten! Ich hatte die Version schon einmal installier (und kurz darauf wieder de-installiert), weil ich dringend etwas fertig haben musste und ich nicht arbeiten konnte. Jetzt versuchte ich es ein zweites mal, es funktioniert nicht gut. Arbeite auf einem Mac, aktuellste Version von Sonoma. Auch wenn ich die Bilder gut bearbeiten kann – momentan funktioniert der export nicht bzw es dauert 10 min bis irgendwann das export Fenster erscheint. Das selbe gilt für die Veröffentlichung über das smugmug plugin. ich bin ziemlich ratlos… das optimieren des Vorschaukatalogs hat die ganze Nacht gedauert und ich habe es jetzt abgebrochen, das kann einfach nicht richtig sein....

Sometimes (randomly), in Library module, when moving from one photo to another one, metadata are not updated in the right column and stay related to a image displayed previouslsy (even when changing to another images folder).In addition, when happening, closing Lightroom becomes impossible or taking a very long time.Finally, closing and reopening the Metadata section in the right column leads to a blank section.It happens in both Windows and MacOS.Thanks for help.

My computer is an M2 Max MacBook Pro about a year old, no second monitor, and now running Sonoma 14.1.2.  I'm using Lightroom Classic 13.0.2.  I recently updated both the operating system and Lightroom.  Now, whenever I switch to the Develop Mode in Lightroom Classic, or try to open a raw file in Camera RAW, the monitor goes dark.  I can see the frames go darker.  If I have a Safari window open next to LR and switch, I can see where the Safari window changes though it won't necessarily stay dark.  So switching between Library and Develop is doing something to change the brightness of the monitor. I tried deleting LR Classic and then reinstalling it but it still dims the monitor.  When I uninstalled, I did keep the preferences, etc. and the re-installed program opened where it had before, would that make a difference?  I'm not sure that the behavior started before or after I upgraded to Sonoma, I upgraded both LR and the operating system abou

I am so upset! My retouching workflow was all in lightroom brushes so I would select my skin brush and do each image, then select my hair brush and do each image.. so on and so forth.. NOW with this new update, it makes you select the brush through a multiple step process on each image individually and it is taking my time and KILLING MY VIBE. Can anyone help? Is there a solution or a way to revert back to the old lighroom? Thank you in advance   

Vacuumed all air intakes, running Sonoma 14.6 on 2019 Mac Pro, LR Classic 13.4. Running Denoise AI has crashed Mac from the start, but crashing (hardware shut down) has become 50% to 100% in the past couple of weeks. Apple Support asked me to open Activity Monitor and we watched LR use 2% to over 215% of % CPU while running Denoise (it crashed again). He surmised that I need to Unistall and Reinstall Lightroom, theorizing a fresh install would remove any possible corruption. He wanted to rule out software corruption before assuming it was a hardware issue (I.e. Intel vs  M2 chip.The question is: can I SAFELY uninstall and reinstall Lightroom Classic without jepordizing my 200,00 plus catalog of processed photos, and my entire catalog?In other words, if I uninstall Lightroom and then reinstall, will it find all of my correctly processed photos, data, etc. When I reopen Lightroom, will everything look they way it is supposed to?I do not want surprises. I finally figured out what appears to be an issue occurring over the last few months with images having capture date changed. When looking at the EXIF data, there is the "date" and the "capture date" and many photos would have these be different after syncing. Here is an example:  Without going through all the details, ultimately, I discovered that I had multiple pairs of photos with the same filename coming into the same month. My workflow for phone photos is Phone -> LR Mobile/cloud -> LR Classic (PC storage)My wife and I both sync our photos to the same catalog, so apparently, our photo names from our iPhones were repeating within the same month (generally this has not happened, but if you take enough photos, you are bound to repeat and eventually overlap). I discovered that two photos of the same name were in the same month in lightroom cloud, with one of them displaying the correct date (most recent photo) and the older photo being assigned the EXACT same date

Hello! I have a CSV file with filenames, captions and keywords for 400 images that I'd like to import into Lightroom Classic (its last version, I use to have it updated). I've installed the LR/transporter plugin, that would be the perfect solution, and I've run the trial, but nothing happens (the plugin says that the trial was OK, but it wasn't, a single keyword or caption wasn't imported). I've sent emails to the developers, but they don't answer. I wouldn't mind to pay for the plugin... as long as it works, of course, but I'm not certain about that, actually, I've read some comments out there that it's no longer supported by recent versions of Lightroom.So any recent experience about this plugin would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance and regards from Spain! 

Our private family catalogue has 161.000 pictures, but until today I could work with it smoothly.Now, after returning from vacation, I tried to sync about 7.500 new pictures from CC, but it is inexplicably slow (120 pics within 1 hour). It is indeed so slow, that I can't do anything but wait.Windows 11 task manager tells me that 98% of my 64GB RAM is in use by lightroom classic. If I restart, the percentage climbs up slowly. As long as there is some RAM left for working, I can choose pictures, edit a.s.o.But as soon as the RAM is occupied, that's it. Lightroom classic is blocked.What could it be? Windows 11 pro AND lightroom classic installed updates first.Eventually, it could be connected to the Cloud-Sync?Any ideas? I couldn't find a support page with real persons for help, couldn't open a support ticket...Thank you!ps. lightroom system info as txt attached 

The image won't fully load and I can't access the edit panel. The image just remains pixelated and the edit panel is grayed out. Multiple restarts, software updated. 

Bonjour,J'utilise Lightroom Classic depuis environ 6mois et depuis quelques semaines cela m'indique "erreur de synchronisation" dans l'onglet creative cloud en haut à droite…A l'ouverture du logiciel ca mouline pendant quelques minutes puis ça m'affiche un message avec "Erreur de synchronisation"J'ai donc regardé si j'avais bien les dernières MàJ et oui c'est la cas…Bref si quelqu'un à une solution à proposé je suis prenneur 🙂Merci d'avance

Greetings. First reach-out. LrC is constantly turning off graphics processor due to errors. When doing lens blur and/or denoise, it will randomly totally crash or display error. I close and restart and GPU is working...until I do lens blur or denoise (sometimes other tasks trigger it as well). I've updated GPU driver, did a clean install, restarted multiple times, and preformed all the "easy" fixes in the performance tab. Can NOT get LrC to run more than an hour without some kind of error or crash. What am I missing?
