Hi, I am just wondering if anyone has had got any good recommendations for settings that work well for a default import for Om-1 mk2 raw files - I'm not having much luck with settings that give me a comfortable starting point on import & finding results noisy and always having to resort to the enhance/denoise tool so looking for any experience anyone can add. Comparing LR to C1 and OM workspace I cannot replicate the same starting point - see attacched - not a great shot, iso 6400 but equally bad in both & whilst C1 appears to handle noise better it looks like LR has more detail I'm just not quite figuring out how to get the best out of it so simply looking for any tips / experience with the specifc camera processing in LR that peeople might be willing to impart to give me a leg up. Thanks

I am trying to free up space on my computer, and the majority of the large files taking up space are Lightroom, and I am unsure whether or not they are necessary. I am not very tech savvy. Would someone be able to explain what these files are and if they are necessary? I have attached screenshots of the large files taking up space. 

Edit in Photoshop no longer includes Lightroom adjustments   Hi All,   I have read many Posts on this issue & spoken w Adobe tech support & am hoping perhaps a genius w a solution exists 🙂 to solve this issue. I think it's an ACR Ver. compatibility issue with my Ver of LR. I am for the sake of this Query using RAW Canon R5 files.   The issue is that I am running PS 22.2.0 / ACR 12.3 on Mojave w LR Classic 9.4 / ACR 12.4 (About LR info in app)  and when opening RAW image there is no 'Open w LR Adj.' option, and the image opens with a weird Look (lighter and diff tint etc). If I use PS 21.2.12 to open a RAW file from LR the option 'Open w LR Adjst.' is available and all works well, and I can save file as a tiff or PSD and open in PS 22.2.0 no issue.   It gets a little weirderf I try open a RAW file from within PS.  Using PS 22.2.0,  (it shows on the top bar that it is using ACR 13.4 BTW) the file opens w the same bad rendering as from LR

i spent 2 hours with Adobe agent trying to fix and they just made things worse. They got to a point that Acrobat that i need for business wouldn't open either, changed my Library and set up a new root user. I had to go to another agent to get Acrobat going. Took him close to 2 hours but he did a great job.But... separate tech teams so he couldn't get Lightroom going. Now i am travelling overseas and very nervous of letting Adobe support loose on my machine again.

The map module in Adobe Lightroom Classic v13.4 will not load Google Maps correctly. Error message: "See the JavaScript console for technical details."  Restarted. Lightroom, Computer etc. What is the problem. Find old problem like this from 2018

My Lightroom catalog and related files (previews, data,helper, etc.) are currently located in the "pictures" folder in OneDrive.  Is there a downside to putting them in OneDrive; should I move them out of OneDrive?

Lightroom Classic 13.3 Mac OS Sonoma 14.5 all updated:13.3 promised changes for the better in cloud sync - guess what - it has had opposite results with me!I can hardly create any new collections because of the huge lag - I choose make new collection, lag - dialog appears - give it a name - and then it can take MINUTES before it actually appears in my collections list. I want to make a collection syncable with lightroom cloud - I click the sync sign - no result - FOR MINUTE OR TWO, then the sync pictorgam appears.I got "syncing 15 images" text in the sync status (from the cloud icon to the right of Web menu) for DAYS, finally decided to rebuild all sync database (why they removed all sync progress info from sync preferences pane and HID THE BUTTONS behind the opt key is beyond me!), it got rebuilt and resynced over couple of days, and then guess what - is now stuck back at syncing 15 images. IT IS UNUSABLE, how can you ship such a half baked premium product, Lightroom team???

Hi - I have a bad reaction every time I use Lightroom because of the new opening image. I find it to be reminiscent of the 9/11 Falling Man. When I see it, my heart races and the image is disturbing to me. Does anyone else have this reaction?  

Due to LR being incredibly buggy I chose to reset my preferences instead of constantly restarting the program.  As part of the reset it deleted all my custom import profiles.  When I went to go re--import them I got this error "Unable to import profiles   All items were already imported".  So I went back to the tab and checked the manage profiles to make sure everything was checked that should be.  The profiles were just not in any of the profile headings and were not under legacy either.  I tried restarting, still no joy.  The profiles are in the proper locations" C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles and in C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles.   They were working just fine before this.  Any suggestions about how to get them back? Thank you in advance Lightroom release 13.4 Camera raw 16.4Windows 11

I upgraded to 13.3 to get the benefit of the new AI healing brush tools. My workflow for the past 8 months has been to import / open files directly from a portable SSD drive as my hard drive is getting full and I need to keep enough space for OS and Photoshop to work. When I launched LR, everything pre-update is there (small stuff for the past few months I used the hard drive) but all of my big projects are gone from the catalogue. They are not even listed as missing with a ?. They don't show as to ever been there in the first place. Obviously I have the raw files and some edits, but can I get part of a catalogue back? Has anyone every heard of such a thing? 

Hi there! I do have a problem with the synchronization between to computers (MacBook Air and MacBook Pro). While traveling with the MacBook Air I took some 2.000 photos which I have stored on the computer and an external hard drive. Now I want to synchronize the MacBook Air with my studio MacBook Pro, but I simply can't get it to work properly.  It worked for about half of 30 collections, but it does not want to continue. All files are locally available. When I hit the synchronization button, I am always prompted with the same message: Do you want to stop synchronizing this collection? All collections have the synchronization button ON. Does anybody know where the problem might be? There's more than enough space on my CC cloud drive. Thanks for your support.Andreas

So I've never been good at keywording. If my wife and I would travel, I would lazily tag the whole album with both of our names. Many of those photos didn't have her in them. So now I'm starting with facial recognition, and I assumed the keyword filters would work with only the photos where I have confirmed her face through people mode. But it shows everything tagged with her name. Is there a way to get around this?Also I'm wondering about multiple filters. Lets say I confirm faces on 1000 photos with different combinations of her, my wife, and my daughter. Then I would like to see photos that only have ALL THREE of us. Not all of the photos with any of us in them. How would I do this?Thanks

Hello Adobe team and users, Is anyone else experience longer load times, and lagging when using many of the develop module tools after having installed the latest 13.3.1 update which included the Generative AI tool in Remove, and the Lens Blur feature?   I have noticed several distinct areas of the program running slower, some of which include scrolling between photos in the develop filmstrip can sometimes take 5-10 seconds or more to transition between photos.  Sliders for almost all tools can be moved freely, but sometimes the results are not reflected in the photo until a few seconds have passed, which used to show instant change reflective of the element being adjusted. Most notably, when using the remove tool without Generative AI box checked, it is INCREDIBLY slow compared to before.  The rainbow pinwheel pops up with every third click of the tool, and often takes two or three seconds each time to generate and become available again.  This tool

Hello dear community For a week now, the auto detection of a subject to create a filter is no longer working. It was working fine until I started using the AI-auto replacing tool.  Now, It always says there is no subject detected. And when i try to adaptative portrait filters, they are created with an error message saying they should be updated. When trying to update them, nothing changes. hi I wondered if anyone could help me? I've connected my A7 C2 to Lightroom( Mac. verision 13.3). The app see's the camera but will only receive photos if the camera's  save mode is set to PC only. If I try to set it to PC. And Card it does not see the shot, even though I can trigger a capture from Lightroom and can see the framing via live view.  If I set it to PC only it does see the shot. I would like to be able to save both to the card and the computer. Does anyone have any idea if I'm doing anything wrong? . If you have an A7 C2 and you're tethering it to Lightroom on a Mac, are you having the same problem thx Glenn   [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

I'm confused!  Upgraded to 13.4 a few hours ago and would've expected (when I went to open it) that I'd get the upgrade your catalog message.I didn't.  The catalog that opened was 13.3.  I double checked the preferences to make sure the open latest catalog was in there as the default.  It was.  I double checked to make sure that 13.4 was in fact downloaded.  It was.  So!  How come I didn't get the upgrade your catalog message?  Does it need to be upgraded?  Should it be upgraded?.....Izzy from Brooklyn

I readed a lot of topics in here and watch a ton of youtube videos looking for solve my problem of performance on LR Classic, but without any success.I will tell a short story to give some context about the origin of the problem (I trully believe isn't a software issue, but hope people in here can help me). In 2012 I builded a desktop PC for gamming and photo editing, the config was an Asus motherboard ASUS P8Z68-V / GEN3, with i7-2700K 3.5GHz, 16Gb RAM 1600Mhz, 2x GTX 670 2048MB (SLI), 2x Seagate 1TB 7200 RPM, SSD INTEL 120GB SATA III and Corsair 650HX. This computer was a rocket since day one. Around 2017 or 2018, I started to editing some videos for a friend and on late 2019, for some reason, Premiere Pro stop working and, digging the internet I found out that was because the generation of my processor. I gave this machine for a friend and bought and notebook with i7-10750H, 32GB RAM 2667Mhz, RTX 2060, SSD M.2 512Gb and a HDD 2Tb.I told all this for that: this machine never achieved

The latest LR 'update' corrupted my catalog.  I downgraded LR, created a new catalog attempted to import the photos back into LR, per chat help.  The import just failed.  This is getting so old.....I have On1Photo Raw Max and it looks like its time to just dump LR and go full time with On1.  It's too bad, I've been with LR since Version 1, and PS since 1993.  But with Adobe being sued by the DOJ and now a complete LR failure, it just seems like a good time to go to a more advanced, user friendly, and supportive company.  The chat people ended my chat 3 times and I had to explain everything  again and again.  This is rediculous.

Hi. I have a very old version of Lightroom (v3) which I have just reinstalled on a new PC. Install appears to have worked, however, I am unable to IMPORT any photos. Any help would be appreciated.

I used to have "capture time" as default sort order for every collections in the past years. Now at every new collection created, it resets to filename. This is very annoying. I desperately need capture time and I create dozens of collections every week. How do I tell LR Classic to behave like that?

I'm having trouble with tether capture with my Canon 5DmIV. I connect the camera to my MacBook Pro, turn the camera on, and open LRC. When I start a tether capture, all seems to go well unitl I get a dialog box that says LRC is looking for a connected camera and this dialog box never goes away. So I'm unable to initiate the tether capture. I've tried opening LRC through the CC app with Rosetta, but I get the same result. So the technical details: LRC 13.3.1MacBook Pro (c. 2021), Mac OS Sonoma 14.5, Apple M1 Max chipCanon 5DmIV connected with a USB cable using an adaptor for USB to USB-C (MacBook Pro only has USB-C slots) In advance...thanks for any direction.
