Need ICC Profile in LrC. For creating JPEG to be sent pro print house for large print. That failed the previous time because of the missing ICC profile. Now I have the profile, know how it works, have installed the profile, but LrC refuses to display it in the Other… dialogue for selectable profiles. How could I solve this? Because of the Pro edition of Windows, I reviewed profile-file authorizations too. There should not be a problem there. All application packages have execute and read.Running LrC with Admin rights does not solve it either. Is the profile file corrupted? Print house created the file in 2013 and it comes in zip form (with error protection). I presume the ICC file is fine.

Hey everyone,I’ve been using Lightroom Classic for years, and until recently, batch processing from the Library module worked perfectly. I could select a bunch of photos, apply a user preset, an AI update, or auto tone control, and all of them would update at once. But since a recent update, something’s broken. Now, when I select multiple photos in the Library module and try to apply any batch action (whether it’s a preset, AI enhancement, tone correction, anything) only the first photo in the selection gets updated. The rest are just ignored. It’s like Lightroom forgets I selected more than one image.I’ve tried the usual workarounds, like manual sync in the Develop module or copy-pasting settings, but those don’t solve my problem. Manual sync doesn’t support AI updates or auto tone in the same way, and copy-pasting is just too slow when I’m working with hundreds of photos. I need true batch processing, the way it used to work, directly from the Library module. This is a huge issue for m
Onscreen display in Library module (Loupe view) doesn’t update. That is, if I move highlight from one image to another, the “metadata” panel info does not change. Or, if I change the color or rating of an image, it doesn’t change onscreen. The behavior typically doesn’t begin until LR has been running for at least 10 minutes and it doesn’t end until I restart the program (occasionally it has been fixed by switching to a different module and switching back, but usually that has no effect). This issue has been bothering me since LR version 13 and now persists in 15.4.1. Details: Mac Mini M4 pro running Tahoe 26.5.1. Have tried turning off graphics processor support; no effect. Tried resetting preferences; no effect. Tried disabling all plugins; no effect. Tried removing and reinstalling LR Classic; no effect. What else might it be?
Subject: Exposure shortcut keys (+/-) inactive during Preset Hover PreviewDescription of Issue: In previous versions of Lightroom Classic (e.g., v14), users could adjust exposure using the keyboard shortcuts ("+" and "-") while simultaneously hovering over a preset in the Develop Module to see the dynamic preview. In the current version, these keyboard shortcuts are unresponsive while the "Hover preview of preset" is active, preventing real-time evaluation of the preset's effectiveness with exposure adjustments.Lightroom Classic Version Number: 15.4.1.OS Version Number: macOS Sonoma 14.7.5 (23H527)Step-by-step Reproduction Instructions:Open the Develop Module. Move the mouse cursor over any preset in the Presets panel to trigger the "Hover preview" on the main image. While keeping the cursor over the preset, press the "+" or "-" keys on the keyboard to adjust the exposure. The Expected Result: The exposure should increase or decrease in real-time, allowing the user to see how the preset
Lightroom seems to be stuck in Grid/Loupe/Compare/Survey/Slideshow. Pressing Esc or Tab doesn't bring back the sidebars. When I relaunch LR, the Develop setting preset panel shows momentarily down the LHS and then it goes to this which I can't seem to get out of. Have I pressed a shortcut key inadvertantly?? Help please!
Lightroom won't open. I click it and it simply won't open. It has full disk access on my Mac as well.
In 15.4.1 I have found that in Lens Blur the Blur option of Brush Refinement seems broken. Using it does the same as the Focus option. Anyone else noticed this?I am running the Mac version.

I ran the latest update on Lightroom classic and Lightroom and now the people detection on the masking function is not working. It says people not found. Is this a known issue? Is it being worked on? Anyone else running into this.
**Description of Issue:**After updating to Lightroom Classic 15.4.1, executing the "Update DNG Preview & Metadata" command on a newly generated Linear DNG (created via HDR Merge, Panorama, or Enhance) living on an SMB network volume causes immediate file corruption. The file structure truncates, a black circle with an exclamation mark (!) appears, and the Develop module throws a "File appears to be unsupported or damaged" error. This issue does not occur when modifying native read-only raw files (.NEF), as the adjustments live strictly in the catalog. It specifically occurs when Lightroom attempts to write directly into a DNG container file over an SMB connection.**Lightroom Classic Version Number:** Lightroom Classic v15.4.1 [ 202606101834-493069d4 ] **OS Version Number:** macOS: System Version: 26.5.1 (25F80) Kernel Version: Darwin 25.5.0 SMB_VERSION SMB_3.1.1 Windows 11 Pro Version: 25H2 OS Build: 26200.8655 SMB Version: 3.1.1 **Storage Environment:*
Lightroom cant process .Cube files, how are you able to use .Cube LUTS in Lightroom classic if you use them
Why is the latest version of Lightroom so incredibly slow even with a 8-core I7- 10700K 32GB memory and RTX 3060 12GB and installed on the NVME my Windows 11 is on?!?!?!?!?! The program is incredibly slow at starting up and loading all of its assets, using things like sky mask is atrotious and the overall experience makes me wanna ip my hairs out of my hair! GLITCHY SOFTWARE! even with all the Catalog and Preference settings recommendations dont make a light bit of difference in performance!
Hi,I was entering keywords for my images and suddenly the main panel was filled with "Welcome to People View." I can't find any way to get rid of it. Google says to go to Edit > Preferences > General > Privacy Section > deselect Enable Prople View. But when I go to Preferences > General, there is no Privacy option and I can't find it anywhere else. I don't want to use People View. Please help me get rid of this screen and disable it in Preferences. Thanks.Zaffer
Hi everyone,I’m experiencing a strange issue with Lightroom Classic and Photoshop, and I’ve already ruled out most of the common causes.System:Lightroom Classic 15.4.1 Photoshop 2026 Camera Raw 18.4 macOS 26.5.2 Apple Silicon (M4 Pro)The problem:When I use Photo > Edit In > Adobe Photoshop, the image opens in Photoshop, but all geometric adjustments made in Lightroom are missing.Specifically:Lens Corrections are not applied. Transform/Upright adjustments are not applied. Perspective corrections are lost. However, other Lightroom adjustments (such as exposure, white balance, etc.) appear to transfer correctly. What I’ve already tested:The issue happens with all lenses, not just one. Exporting the image as a TIFF from Lightroom and then opening that TIFF in Photoshop works perfectly. All Lens Corrections and Transform adjustments are preserved. The issue only occurs when using Edit In > Photoshop. I have tried both the latest versions and older versions of Lightroom and Photoshop.
Using a MacBook Pro Sequoia 15.7.7. I tried an ‘Old Lightroom Catalog’ from finder but result is the same.
I was close to running out of space on my hard drive (“X”) so I transferred > 190,000 photos and the Lightroom Classic to a new hard drive, which has a different letter (“Z”). I did this using Windows Explorer instead of within Lightroom as I understood it was quicker and more reliable to use this approach. I then disconnected the old hard drive (“X”) to ensure all access to Lightroom was via the new hard drive. I am able to open the catalog in Lightroom but the folder structure does not appear. The Photos folder is on the hard drive but I can’t get the software to recognize it. It is my understanding that I shoud not use “synchronize” since I would lose all past edits. Is that correct? I also read about using the “Find the Folder” function but I don’t see that option anywhere. How can I get Lightroom Classic to recognize the photos that are stored on the hard drive and hopefully not lose the edits that are already incorporated in the catalog?
I have been using Photoshop Ai denoise since last year when it first appeared in a regular update sometime in late? 2025. I since have used it to improve hundreds of old raw files going back several years and last I used succesfully on some high iso bird shots in Feb this year. I tried to fix some noisy shots yesterday July 6, 2026 it gave me the “unknown error” message. I went back to several raw files that I had previously created enhanced .dng files but I always got the same error message. Something has changed in the four months since Feb.I use a 27” Retina 5K iMac, late 2015, running OS Monterey Version 12.7.6.32 GB memory, AMD Radeon R9 M395X 4 GB. I have purged the cache, and the scratch discs have plenty of space left.
So I am going through trying to edit and my Lightroom is lagging so so badly. Like it's been between 2-3 mins while I wait for an image to load. As well as I am trying to select images it will give me grey squares in the reel and waiting for another 5 mins for things to load. Anyone else had these issues?
I use multiple plugins for lightroom including smugmug, adobe stock and wix. After the last upgrade of lr, and windows 11, I have lost connections to these plugins. The folders are still there and I can view the images in lr but get a “null error” and cant access them to add or change content. The worst is smugmug where i use two plugins for two different watermarks. One for my normal business watermark, one for person images. This avoids having to edit the gallery settings each time I load. I still see one enabled but not the other. The images in the disabled gallery cannot be copied to the other gallery so I have lost access to 5k images. Is there anyway to reconnect or resync the disables galleries?
Good morning,I use Nikon and Hasselblad cameras. I saw Capture One's announcement about their latest update and support for Hasselblad devices, as well as the connected mode that will arrive a little later. I must say that I am a little shaken and thinking. Can we hope that Lightroom classic will do the same? I may be wrong, but I feel like LRC is really more focused on consumer photographers and influencers, while Capture One is more aimed at professionals and serious amateurs.
I've been having an issue for quite a while where I can't use any Adobe 2026 applications on my Windows PC after updating.I've tested Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects, and they all behave the same way:The application launches and starts loading. After a few seconds, a pop-up appears with Error 224. The application then closes and cannot be used. The only workaround I've found is to roll back to the previous versions, which work normally. Here are the versions I'm currently using:Premiere Pro: v25.6.6 After Effects: v25.6.6 Photoshop: 26.0.0 Illustrator: 29.0 (64-bit)My hardware:GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 I've already updated both the latest NVIDIA Studio Driver and my GPU drivers, so everything is fully up to date.Could you please let me know how I can resolve this issue? I've been dealing with it for a long time and haven't been able to find a solution.
Can anyone help with a fix please? LrC on Macbook Pro M5 chip and fully updated OS. LrC also up. to date.
I have upgraded to 15.4.1, still it’s not working for me.
After upgrading Lightroom Classic to 15.4.1, I am getting the following error when I am in the Develop GUI:“Lightroom has encountered an error when reading from its preview cache and needs to quit. Lightroom will attempt to fix this problem the next time it launches.”This error keeps reoccurring shortly into my session each time I relaunch LRC.Lightroom Classic version: 15.4.1 [ 202606201310-b9f148a4 ]License: Creative CloudLanguage setting: en-USOperating system: Mac OS 26Version: 26.3.1 [25D2128]
