Photoshop version 26.5 | macOS Sequoia 15.3.2 Since version 26.4.1 Photoshop has started handling adjustment layers differently. If the adjustment layer has a text field, it will be active once the layer is clicked.This breaks some shortcuts like copying the adjustment layer, or deleting it via keyboard shortcuts.

Just downloaded the Canon Professional Print and Layout app. It installs into Lightroom as a plug-in but cannot find Photoshop 2023. It finds 2022 and 2020 but not using these. Any ideas please.

Why is everything I open in PS yellow all of a sudden (just started happening this morning),and how do I fix it?Same thing happened in Quark and I was able to fix it by adjusting the monitor display settings.Since they are different  companies, I don't know if it is the same fix or where I would go to even try it.Attached example shows image in PS and the same image on the same screen in  Acrobat.

I'm using a Gaomon PD1560 drawing tablet on a mac and added cmd + z as one of the hot keys. However, whenever I try to undo and then draw a line quickly, it will sometimes activate auto-select and then move whatever layer I'm drawing on. It's not a huge problem but it can get very distracting and frustrating. Does anyone know how to change the keyboard shortcut for auto-select? I can't seem to find it in the shortcuts panel.

As in the title, I have a problem with Photoshop after using AfterEffect. When I turn on AE, work on it and switch to Photoshop, I get weird glitches like from some cyberpunk on the preview and unfortunately after exporting. This is annoying. Previously I had something like this when I exported via Media Encoder and only had problems with Photoshop at the end of the day, but now it occurs whenever I have two programs open at once. I'm having an issue where the navigator panel won't show an image of my document unless I use the brush tool and make an edit. Took me a while to replicate it but I realize what triggers it now. I have an action that does a series of edits and at the end, it will select the next open document. Once the next open document is selected, the navigator panel is blank. I'd have to use the brush tool to make an edit to show the navigator. This is also remedied if I were to manually cycle (cmd + ~) through the documents. Please fix 🙂

So I generated an image with generative AI in photoshop 2025 using the surrealism effect.Then I brought an image of my sisters cat into the file and I want to use the same effect on the cat so it blends in with the rest of the image.Adobe support told me it's not possible at this time. Maybe a nice feature for the future.Anyone maybe knows a work around? MacOS Sequoia.

In a previous Photoshop, I remember being able to preview a JPG before actually saving it--you could indicate how many colors to reduce the image to, such as 16 or 8, for example, and it would reduce and preview the image to only those 16 or 8 colors. I can't seem to find that capability.

Hi, I've been playing around with photoshop since I just got it. I was watching a video that talked about the smudge tool and they recommended using a noisy brush. So after playing with the default smudge brush I started going through the brush options to find one. I found one I liked, but it kept changing from the smudge tool to the brush tool.I looked this up, and saw that if you control + alt + click the brush it selects it for the tool you are using regardless of the default setting. (So it would not automatically swap from smudge tool to the brush)But the problem I'm having now is that my smudge tool doesn't smudge anymore, it basically selects whatever is under it when I click, and then it drags that around instead of blending anything together. This happens with any brush I try using.You can see in the image below that instead of smudging or blending the two colors together, whenever I press down with my pen, it just grabs both colors and then acts as if that is the color o

Adobe Photoshop Version: 26.2.0 20241207.r.140 bc85906 x64Mac os Sequoia 15.1.1 (24B91) Photoshop crashes every time I drag and drop an EPS file into my open document. It crashes for all EPS files. I can place PNG file fine, but not EPS files.

Ps & Br user since the beginning of time. Then came ACR, loved it at first sight. Then (c. 2020) came Ps versions with more and more useful ACR features, and a more nice seamless logic between the three. Great. Even with an 8GB machine you could do good work. And if you overdid it, Windows would just go slow. You wouldn't lose work. And then came the new versions. Many bugs, more bugs, both with Ps and Br. Broken "seamlessness" and a lot of memory leaks. Programs would freeze or crash, not slow down. Out of memory errors, even with 24GB RAM. PC after PC, always well setup systems, but always similar problems. It is so tiresome now. I mean, I now usually open Ps/Br 2022 (even 2021!) to be somewhat confident that I will do my work without losing it. I'm sad!

Hi! I may be missing the easy way to do this, but I'm trying to figure out how to change a specific shape into the letter 'S'. For example, I'm creating a series of logos for a camera company, and would like to create the letter 'S' out of a film strip. I manually created a straight film strip and have my font picked out, and would like the film strip to follow the S path. Is there a simple way to do this? I've messed around with paths (I'm not super familar with them) and can't seem to get it to work after a ton of research. With AI tools now advancing I thought maybe there was an easier route I'm missing.  Thank you!

so I am looking to have text go along a path and also have the text taper off at the ends, meaning smaller at the beginning and then bigger in the middle of the text line, to then smaller at the end tail (like how the brush stroke preview area in the brush menu. included I showed the path I want to have the text go along and then the brush preview shows the aesthetics I'm going for with the "taper" effect.hopefully, this isn't confusing, but I know it's doable but I just can't get it to happen. I wanted to rasterize the text but then it would be a headache to get the text to go along the path I want.I was thinking of the wrapped text menu but it is not giving me full control of the tapering of the text/font.hopefully, someone can shed some light on this or share some helpful hints.if I can clarify this in any way I'm open to revising, but this has had me racking my brain for the past 4 days, or if anyone has resourceful links to information that may help me that's also greatly apprecia

As you can see in the attached video, the text transformation tool seems to be bugged and doesn’t allow me to resize the text box once it’s created. This only happens when I create text with a single click. However, if I click and drag to define a text area, I can resize it afterward without issues. My laptop has an Nvidia 3050 Ti and an i5-11400H. Does anyone know what might be happening?Lastly, I’ve made sure that "Show Transform Controls" is checked and also tried enabling View > Show > Layer Edges, but none of this seems to work. I hope someone can help me. Thanks a lot!

20 year user, never seen this till last night:  Is this new?  I'm on desktop imac,   why does it show two macbook airs I only have one?  I signed out of one, then ok. I'm posting cuase it keeps coming back, so need help. Thanks!
