I have CS3, and have had problems with activation failure. Got told that this would do the trick: Activation or connection error when starting CS3 or Acrobat 8   "Receive a new serial number and installer  Get a new serial number and installer so you can reinstall CS3 or Acrobat 8 applications successfully. These special versions do not require activation."   I followed the instruction very carefully, yet everything is exactly the same as before, same message about activation failure. What's the catch? Do I have to say a magic word or something?   I really need to get this working, please advice.

How can I turn off the popup fom the selection tool? It is super annoying.Pleae let me know.Kind regards,René

I’m using Adobe Photoshop 27.4.0 Release on a MacBook Pro with macOS Tahoe 26.0.3. It worked good until Render a video, when I read the message. 

under Preferences/Interface, None of the color themes have any contrast on this X button I also think It would be nice if the cursor changed to the arrow as an additional indication the the button is there.

Where's the old shapes gone from Photoshop, arrows, icons etc, things we've been using snice the start of photoshop,  Now we have boats, really? who signed that off give us back the arrows signs etc

What has changed with the operation of the Remove tool?Usually the removal of a small skin blemish was almost instantaneous, now it takes 33.42 seconds to remove the same type of thing on a portrait.

Photoshop 27.4.0Windows 11 For AGES I was able to select the layer mask  (alpha channel) of a layer as a channel for operation when using the command Apply Image. Now I can only choose either RGB channels, and that’s it.Why remove it? What’s the purpose of removing features that have been in the software for ages?Please restore this feature.p.s. Calculations still preserves the “Layer Mask” option. Please keep it.

I do have photoshop in italian so I will try to translate as best as I can: After the last couple of updates the contexual bar doesn't show correctly on my wacom, no matter what I try, the only way to show in full is to move the bar on my second monitor.this issue appear only on certain layer, in a text layer or a generated layer the bar return to his normal appereance.Is there a workaround until it get fixed? 

Hello, I am experiencing a critical issue with my new Lenovo Legion Pro 5 (2026) equipped with an NVIDIA RTX 5070 (8GB).The Problem: When using the laptop screen in "Hybrid Mode", Photoshop fails to detect the GPU (shows 0 MB VRAM). This is random: sometimes it happens, and sometimes it doesn't.. Even worse, moving panels or windows causes a permanent Black Screen that forces me to manually restart the computer.Important Observations: External Display works: If I move the Photoshop window to my external tablet (Huion), the flickering and black screens disappear. The issue seems tied to the laptop's internal display/Hybrid management. Legacy Mode: The only way to prevent the crash without restarting is checking "Use Older GPU Mode" in Preferences, but performance is terrible. The only real fix: Switching the entire laptop to "dGPU Only" (Discrete Graphics) mode via Lenovo Legion Space. I need to get this off my chest. I’ve been a Creative Cloud subscriber since day one and have never used pirated software. However, the current stability of Adobe Photoshop is unacceptable.The program constantly freezes or crashes the moment I open it. The only plugin I am running is Pantone Connect. To the Adobe engineers: when will you start prioritizing core stability over new, flashy features? We are professionals who depend on these tools for our livelihood, and right now, the software is hindering my productivity. Has anyone else found a permanent fix for these startup hangs?Thanks.😫

Hello   Since the last Camera Raw 17.4.2. 2283 and Photoshop 26.9.0 on a PC with Windows 11 I have  the following problems:   While using the buffer tool I got the following message: unable to perform this operation due to a program error. I get the same message with the delete tool   In a second time, Photoshop crashed. L Neural filters have also been greyed out since then.     I restarted Photoshop and the computer: No improvements, the problems persist. I really need a search bar in the operations window in Photoshop Classic

In the latest Photoshop update, when you click image/mode and want to change from 32 bits to 16 bits, the HDR toning popup appears and the color balance in the image changes drastically. Normally, the popup should not appear and the color balance should stay the same. Please fix this.

Has there been a change in the algorithm or how leads are distributed to Pro members? Curation Logic: I’ve noticed a lot of 'nonsensical' work or clearly subpar projects from large agencies receiving multiple badges simply because of their follower count, while high-quality technical work is overlooked. I would love an explanation of how the curation process actually works. Is it based on technical execution or just social popularity? Is it possible to change Eraser size by pressing ‘[‘ and ‘]’ (bracket) keys while holding E (i.e having eraser temporary active). It is something i was able to do on mac but not on windows, I am using Wacom tablet and have one of the pen buttons either set to “Erase” or keystroke “E” neither of which allows me to do what I want.

I’ve used the blend mode “add” from the menu “apply image” in my workflow for editing portraits (blend mode add was never availabe in the layer menu). Today I’ve updated photoshop to v27.4 and the option is no longer available. Any ideas ? Is there any replacement ? I’ve switched back to v26.x and the blend mode was still there.

Now that Adobe has added both Denoise and Sharpen AI what is the suggested way to use that? Not any separate Topaz apps that are purchased. The two that are in the filters that are partnered with Topaz that require premium credits.I don’t need information on Denoise AI because I have access to Adobe Denoise AI, I just need information on Sharpen AI. There is no trial period and there are no settings to choose from. It just runs and I don’t want to waste credits on testing from the start.I have been all over the internet and youtube and all information is for the plug-in apps. I’d like to know if I should do all of my sharpening first and then run it. Or should I just leave sharpening at the default settings, run it and fine tune later. Or should I turn Sharpening completely off, run it and then fine tune.As my usual workflow with other 3rd party I plan to use at the very end.Thank you

Photoshop (latest, 26.10.0) freezes when trying to start Photomerge and does not respond to Photoshop commands.  The only way out is to stop Photoshop with the Task Manager. 

Hi all, I have recently come across this image on Pinterest that is clearly made using AI. I wanted to try to recreate it, but it is looking rather terrible… I wanted to ask for any pointers to see if I can improve it so as to look as similar as the inspo pic. I have attached my try as well as the initial logo to this question. Here is what I have nastily produced: how can I create the runny glassy cracked finish ?

Tried generative upscale for the first time. Was impressed with the results, but realized I needed to make adjustments. Went to try again and was told I’m out of credits. Apparently our version of Creative Cloud has a montly credit limit of 25. Why bother giving any credits at all then? That’s just insulting.

as ttf fonts are no longer supported by adobe. So, I want to know how can we convert ttf fonts to otf fonts so that i dont loose my previous files or data.I have used many online platforms for this purpose but nothing proved to be helpful.The problem is occurring  in Arabic fonts
