The contexual task bar is an incredibly handy feature, but when typing in text bubbles, I find that it can often obstruct a large portion of the text bubble whenever it adjusts its position for a new text layer. It makes it hard to center the text without having to move the contextual task bar. Having an option to anchor, or to lock it in place would be a great quality of life feature.

Hi! After updating Photoshop, my toolbar suddenly stopped displaying icons correctly. All I see is a tall gray bar with empty spaces where tools should be. A few icons (such as the brush or color swatches) are visible, but most are missing or invisible.   How can this be done?

The list of profiles shown in the Print dialog should match that visible in the Convert to Profile dialog.  In thirty years of working with color management, inventing tools for color management, developing software for color management, teaching color management, and using it, I've never seen a profiles list that's such a mess.  It fails to load at least most of the profiles stored in every single one of the correct profile directories.  But it does load profiles that can't be found in any of those directories or in packages installed in locations like /Library/Printers/EPSON/InkjetPrinter2/ICCProfiiles/[package], except that on one of my two Macs (both M1 machines running Sonoma) it does list that package's 45 profiles in their own section right at the top. Pleases don't try to foolishly second guess what profiles we can or should be able to select for any kind of conversion.  It's up to us to pick a printer profile and we absolutely must not be arb

This is driving me bananas. I've inherited some banner files, and the text box must have been transformed to a tiny percent of the original. When I use the cmd-shift-> shortcut, the size goes up by 0.07 points. Cmd-opt-shift-> brings it all the way up to 0.37 points. (Of course this is 0.075/0.375 pts; thanks for the precision.) If I make a new type layer with the same fonts, that type behaves normally, ie, 1 pt/5 pt increments.  How on earth do I reset the transformation so I can make changes to these files? I've looked everywhere. Yes, I've reset preferences and the font cache, and restarted the Mac (Mini M4, Sequoia). Tried it on my old Air (Ventura) and it's the same. I'm just trying to get some work done here.

Hello,I'm trying to delete a layer to replace the background (to fill the tablecloth with a pattern), but when I delete it, the space is not empty (I mean, there is no usual chessboard, but some random colour)... How could I solve it?ps. please, don't judge the drawing, I'm learning!

I updated to Photoshop 27.1 this morning. My clone stamp tool and patch tool were working fine before the update. After the update, while trying to use either tool, I get the result shown in the photos attached. I click the mouse one time and get what you see. Please help!

I want to enlarge a single character in a row or rotate just a single character in a row that I'm typing. Which keyboard shortcut do I need to press?

In the old days, if i wanted black in Photoshop, I would go to the color picker, select black and be on my merry way.Now, when I select black, I may get dark green, I may get dark red, nut it takes at least five attempts to actuatly get black.  This includes multiple times typing 0,0,0 in the color picker.This is driving me up a wall!  I'm sure there's an easy fix, but I can't find it. Please help!!! 

Does anyone know how to recover a file in this situation? I usually press Ctrl + S very frequently, but at that moment I was just finishing some small color adjustments to submit the artwork since the deadline was December 18. I had already been working on the piece for 4–5 days.I also checked the AutoRecover folder, but the file there was empty

My question's exactly as the subject - I'd like to be able to have fore to back as a default gradient and black to white as a default when masking, it used to work that way but now I can never be sure what gradient and why appears when I switch to gradient tool. Resetting tool does not really help - meaning it helps sometimes and I have to do it either every time I start the program or even for a new document, it's hindering and extremely inocvenient 😞

Hi, I frequently work with several Blender instances alongside Photoshop, which puts a heavy load on the GPU. Crashes are expected and not really an issue, but once they happen I can no longer launch any Adobe applications. They appear in the task list but never fully start, and the only way to recover is to reboot the PC. I’ve already tried ending all Adobe background processes or GPU-related services, but it doesn’t resolve the problem. Any ideas on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.Config:- Windows 11 Enterprise 25H2- RTX3090 24Gb- 64Gb RAM- Ryzen 5 5600x

Quando estou escolhendo alguma fonte e decido fechar a aba de fontes clicando em alguma área fora o aplicativo do photoshop ele simplesmente trava e fecha o app. Depois quando entro novamente ele restaura meu arquivo em um novo psd, mas tudo isso só porque decidi fechar a aba de fontes apertando por fora... o que fazer? já que é algo que faço com muita frequência.---When I'm choosing a font and decide to close the fonts panel by clicking somewhere outside the Photoshop app, it simply freezes and closes the app. Then, when I open it again, it restores my file in a new PSD, but all of this just because I decided to close the fonts panel by clicking outside... what should I do? Whenever I try  to upscale something 2k  to 4k  I get orange error message after waiting forever ususually.   I happen to have regular Topaz Gigapixel8 Ai upscaler  and it works just fine  with same images . Results are not very good usually with some weird details  but it works at least.     So whats wrong in Photoshop?   I'd like to use it there. ps . Firefly upscale doesn't work either , showing me same orange error .

Quando modifico una foto su Photoshop online e poi provo a scaricarla, mi ritrovo un file da 0 kilobyte. Se provo la modalità download da telefono, la pagina sul telefono rimane in download ma non scarica nulla.

Hola con todos alguien me puede ayuda con lo que es borrador, al dimensionar o ajustar el tamaño la dimension que se ve de lo que se borra no es igual, por decir coloco el borrador a 200px, se ve la circunferencia 200px pero lo que se borra es 150 px, lo que deseo es que borre 200px, alguna ayuda con sugerencia por favor gracias

Вітаю. Виникла проблема з завантаженням відредагованого фото в фотошопі. На моменті збереження він підвисає і не дає змогу зберегти файл на компʼютер. Раніше все працювало добре, але з 11.12.2025 перестало. Повідомлення про пристрій і сумістність роботи було і раніше і все працювало. Я виходила і заходила в свій обліковий запис, перевантажувала пристрій, чистила памʼять, але нічого не допомагає. В чому може буи складність?
