I  mainly use Elements 2019 but also occasional Luminar AI which I access using the 'External Editor' option. Luminar AI is set as the external editor in preferences.My question is: Is it possible to hasve more than one external editor in preferrences and, if it is, how do you set a second preferrence?

I recently purchased an updated version of Adobe Photoshop after my last one disappeared when I got a new harddrive.  The new one looks different than the old one, but I think I have figured it out.  However, the color choices are not in my toolbox, so that I can choose the color I want to use.  Where can I find the foregrund and background colors?

I own photoshop elements 2018 and I was trying to download it again on my new PC yet it wasn't available for download, if anybody knows how I can download it again I'd appreciate it.

I made a mistake and purchased Photoshop Ellements for Windows 2021 instead of the 2019 version.The 2019 version is like a DC3 airplane ... the only suitable replacement is another one just like it. How do I bypass the Welcome Screen and go directly to Photo Editor in PSE 2021 for Windows.

A few weeks ago, right after I installed PSE 2019, I stumbled across a filter (or effect) that "divided" my image into 3 x 3 equal sections, each one separated by an equa-width white line. What I see now in Tiles and Extrude seems to do something similar, but without the desired symmetry. Can someone please point me / redirect me to the choice that will let me reproduce this effect? I am running PSE 2020 on an iMac running Monterey 12.0.1I put the script listener plug-in into the plug in folder.I checked the system info in PSE and ScriptListener 21.1 is listed as installed.I opened and edited a file, and the ScriptingListenerJS.log does not appear on my desktop.Any help is appreciated. 

When I duplicate a layer that has a layer mask, the new layer keeps the edit/effect of the original layer in all areas (i.e. ignores the mask).  How do I duplicate a layer in a way that keeps the original mask's effects, but then allows me to then enhance and mask this new layer independently? For example, on a layer called "original"...1. I darken highlights (via Enhance > Adjust Lighting > Shadows/Highlights).2. I create a mask, then mask out certain areas at <100% opacity.3. I duplicate this "original" layer (via right-click > duplicate layer), which produces a "new" layer that includes the "original" mask.4. The "new" layer has the darkened highlights in the entire layer, as if the "original" layer had no mask at all.  (If I delete the "new" mask, it makes no difference.) I use Photoshop Elements 14.  Wasn't sure if this was my error or a PSE error (as far as choosing topic for this post). Thank you kindly,Kyla p.s. I have PS Elements 14. I uninstalled it and reinstalled on my Lenovo laptop running Windows 14. When I reinstall, I get the message "We are unable to validate this serial number for Photoshop elements 14. Please contact customer support". Customer Support is unable help since this version is off maintenance. Is there anyway to get this version up and running again?

I need to wipe out all folders and start over.  I want to break all the links and have folders dissapear in Organizer so I can reimport the way I want it.  When I opened Organizer for the first time it just started importing all on its own.  Plus it missing pictures in some of the folders.  I just want to start over. Is there a way? 

I am using Elements 19.0 in Windows 10When I scan a doc or photo using 'File-Get photos and videos-from scanner' the scan completes but instead of appearing in Organiser I get a message saying "1 Media files were skipped because they are already in the catalog" and underneath "The file already exists in the catalogue" with the link to the Elements scan storage folder with todays date. I have Preferences set to save to a folder in One Drive but it never gets there. Each time I have to use File Explorer to find the file and move it manually before I can get it into Organiser.What is wrong here with me and/or Organiser? Dennis

Hi everyone,English is not my first language so hopefully, I'll do my best to get my question across.My question is this: I'm working on an original image and want to add a new layer to it. I run win10 and Adobe Elements 13.1. It says no codec available for certain video files - all in 3gp format. How can I fix this problem ?In advance thanks for any and all help.

Can someone please explain to me why the issues with the Organizer freezing have not been fixed? The problem has existed on Elements 11 and 14 for me. I know I don't have the more recent version of PSE but I've read that the problem still exists so I'm not going to again upgrade if it still isn't fixed. I've tried various "solutions" to fix it but nothing has worked. I question why we would need to take these steps anyway? Why hasn't Adobe fixed it in subsequent versions? I have spent an enormous amount of time trying to work with the software, using face recognition, identifying places, etc. I get frustrated spending so much time with it, that I give up and am then left with an unorganized plethora of photos that will take even more time to sort out.I'm on an iMac and keep versions updated and I have plenty of space to run the program so I cannot see any reason why it does not work. Does anyone have a workaround for the organizer - Find by metadata problem when you include a "folder name" and any other category? Folder name by itself works, and any other searches together work, but not that combination.It appears that the search function and organizer freeze up and have to be ended thru the control panel.I have seen this issue reported for older PSE versions, but it appears it has never been addresed.

I am trying to transfer my Catelogs from Adobe Photoshop 4.0 on an old Windows 7 Computer to Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022 on a new Windows 10 computer. I have copied all the photos and documents over to the new machine but am not sure how to Export/import the catelogs

Well, after owning this program since 2015, it won't load w/out an activation code. Can't find my code, and I didn't have a problem until this week. But yet the program start up wants me to upgrade. Pretty fishy if you ask me. Help anyone?

I've been on two support calls with Adobe trying to troubleshoot the memory drain and glitches when using Elements 2022 (I upgraded from 2019). They're still working on it but one thing they did was uninstall and reinstall Elements in a custom location.I just saw an update come in but I get an error message so now I'm trying to uninstall Elements altogether and then reinstall it. However, now get an error message for that, too using Add/Remove Programs in Windows. I've also searched my entire hard drive for the Uninstaller.exe file and it's not there. Is there a different way to uninstall Elements 2022? This is really getting frustrating!

Photoshop not working. This is maybe the worst software experience I've had in the past 10 years. Earlier in 2021 I bought Adobe Elements 2021 and installed it. It worked okay. I had to uninstall it to get disk space to upgrade the Mac operating system. I then tried to reinstall Elements with the purchase s/n, purchase code etc. It looked like it installed, but won't run. The wheel turns and then nothing. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Nothing. All the other programs I needed to uninstall and reinstall have worked fine, except this one. The interface to the software looks 10-20 years old. Anyway, that's my experience.

Hi.  I have elements 10.  Ran into something I need help with and would be most greatful for any advice.I have used it a lot in the past, all well.  But just recintly went to make a slide show,  and I could not click on the transitions between any "new black video" I created to change the type of transition or even put one in there.  But the original slide pictures installed when first opened had no issue clicking on them, and they were highlighted in blue of which I could edit the transition. One other thing is it posable, once a title is chosen from the stock list, to deleat it and insert a new one at the front of your slide show, and if so how. I did try to uninstall 10 and reinstall with no luck.Thank you,Jon
