I'm running MacOS Catalina 10.15.7, and bought PSE 2021 because earlier versions of PSE stopped working.  Now PSE 2021 freezes when I try to open editor either fron Organizer, or by simply starting Editor.  Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have just upgraded my Photoshop Elements to 2021 version on Windows 10 PC and now whenever I try to open the Organiser my whole computer freezes and the only way I can get out of it is to shut the whole computer down using the on/off button. I am unable to use Task Manager to close any windows. The whole machine becomes totally unresponsive. I have tried to rest the preferences and this worked once and then it crashed again. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the software and still the same problem.

I downloaded and installed Premiere Elements 2020 on my MacBook Pro (2016), OS V. 11.1, Big Sur, today. The Homescreen opens to launch the Organizer, Photoeditor and Videoeditor. When opening the Videoeditor (Premiere) a loading messages comes up for a while but the Videoeditor/Premiere never opens. (It works for the Photoeditor/Photoshop). Please help

Hello Everyone,I am having trouble installing PSE 2020 on a brand new Win 10 Home 64 bit version 1909 computer.I downloaded the installer from my Adobe account.On the first 3 attempts the installer became stuck at various percentages of installation - 42%, 14%, 9%.I did a Windows System Restore to just before the first attempt.Subsequent attempts now result in "Error 501" saying Photoshop Elements cannot be installed now with no other details as to why.I Googled Error 501 and it tells me that a resource that the installer needs to modify is currently used by another app and to check the PSE installation log file to see which app to close.I cannot find the log file anywhere.  Can someone please advise where it is located?Computer Details:Win 10 Home 64 bit version 1909CPU: Intel core i7 9th GenRAM: 16GBVideo card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 with 6GB dedicated video memoryPSE installation is onto a SSD.Can anyone please advise on how to fix this installation issue?Any help or sugg

I'm trying to install PE 2021 on pc running Win10 (fully updated), I've owned a previous version but it's not installed on this machine. After selecting the 64bit version & downloading the installer, it runs up to about 2% and then crashes "Install failed Restart required" I have restarted umpteen times and still it does the same thing, I've delted all old copies of the installer and started afresh TWICE and still it does the same thing...  I've spen the last 20 minutes trying to get a phone number for Adobe support but I think it would be easier to contact Trump at the White House as it seems to be a closely guarded secret ! Is there anyone out there from Adobe that can call me and solve this issue ? Microsoft were absolutely stunning with a different PC earlier in the week, Adobe have failed at the outset...

After installing Photoshop Elements 2021 for mac I cannot open the editor after I enter the serial number. It always says invalid serial number. I bought the software from Staples. I contacted Staples and Adobe support but they're no help so far. Anyone else experienced this problem and found a solution?

Is Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 compatible with MacBook Air with M1. I haven't seen anything that specifically states whether they are compatible or not. Thank you

I'm trying to find out if I can add a Photoshop Elements 2020 extension to Apple Photos? I use Apple Photos to store all my pictures and I'm hoping that adding Photoshop Elements will be a seemless transition so that I don't have to move pictures all over the place. Being able to open the pictures in Apple Photos, edit them in Photoshop Elements, then save them back to Apple Photos would be phenomenal. I have searched but have not found a difinitive answer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks...

First, let me say that I am math challenged.:) I have a number of die cuts I need to scan and reduce by 60%. I know I can do it by going into Resize and just changing the numbers for height and width, and making sure they are proportionate. However, I was wondering if there was another way to do it to get it to exactly 60% smaller. (I'm so old, I remember working in a newsroom where the graphic designers had some kind of wheel that they turned that helped them resize the photos...) Many thanks!  

I just installed my PSE 2021 download. When I opened the Tutorials It states, "Photoshop Elements 2019 Overview" Shouldn't it be 2021 Overview?

Hi there. Is there a way for someone in the US to buy a photoshop elements 2021 acvivation code and send it to someone in the UK as a gift ?  So far as i can can tell if they piurchase one it's linked to their account and not the account of someone they might want to gift it to.Any help would be appreciated. 🙂  

Elements Organizer Photo Downloader not prompting. When clicking File>Get Photos>From Camera or Card Reader or Import>From Camera or Card Reader, nothing happens/no box pops up. If it matters, here's what I'm working with: Elements 2021, 2019 MacBook Pro, Nikon D780.Everything worked fine with my last photo project. There is a way to get the files from camera onto Mac to RAW, however, Organizer is my workflow of choice. It's much easier to cull in organizer than it is straight from RAW. Since there's a way to import the files, this leads me to believe that it's not a card reader, connection, or an apple issue - it's likely Organizer. 

Hi I have recently started using PSE 20 after upgrading from PSE 12. I had a real mess with my photos due to many duplicates after changing computers etc. I went through all my photos on the computer via Windows Explorer, brought them all together onto an external hard drive and organized them into a format that works for me using year/month/day file titles. I used a trial version of a duplicate photo finder to eliminate as many duplicates as possible.Once I was happy with how things were looking I then imported them all into a new catalog called Dec 2020 on PSE 20.I thought it would be best to start fresh with the new PSE program but I also hope that I can move the old catalog information from PSE 12 over to the new program but I'm so afraid in this resulting in more duplicates and creating another mess!I did a full backup of PSE12 before I changed computers and I did a restore of that catalog onto the new computer so now I have 2 catalogs in PSE 20 which is fine because eve

Every time I open PSE15 I need to enter my License No.  I also lost all my photo information and location Information.  I have owned other versions of PSE, this has been terrible.

Each time I try to launch my elements 7 it gives me an update message. When I click on the update I receive a error 404. I cannot open create or edit in elements 7 any longer it freezes and will not open up.

I need to draw pictures - see attachment. The hexagon should be filled with a texture read from a disk file. In addition - the edges of the hexagon must not be smoothed. The resulting image is used in a program that automatically makes the magenta color transparent, but only pixels RGB (255,0,255). Is it possible to create such an image in the program?

On my Photoshop elements 14 editor doe not save to jpeg and other savingtools. The only one it will work on is PDF save. Also putting lays on the photo the wheel of death comes on and will not load have got to force quit. This is on Mac. Please Help

PE Elements 13.1 updated itself and now I cannot see any of my albums in addition to it repeatedly asking me to update. 

I'm having touble editing a PSD file I created a year ago in PS Elements 15. The text in a book I'm editing needs updating, and there are about 4 layers of text along with 2 photo layers per page of a 52 page book. I know I didn't group them when I created them a year ago, but now they are locked. How? Why? I've gone online in the Adobe Help pages and the fixes they mention don't seem to apply. For instance, the Layer>Simpliy Layer tool is grayed out. Another instruction says I have to first lock the pixel layers in the layer panel then unlock the pixel layers, but it is also grayed out. At the moment I am having to re-type ALL the data on each page, and re-make the photo and text layers, which is tedious as all get out! I am currently on page 2. Can anyone offer some advice?

I've bought lately the 2021 Elements programs, Photoshop , Premiere and Organizer. My first action is to create a photo and video catalogue. In Organizer, I'm importing photos from folders and files in my computer.  I understand that the program should analyse the incoming photos and find faces and other particularities such as beaches, nature, ect.  I does'nt appear to do so. I want to convert black & white photo to color but the option does not show on enhanced menu as Help says it should

I'm trying to do a simple two picture collage and the editor keeps crashing. Then I get a box that says, "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."  Sometimes it asks me if I would like to send a report to Adobe. When I try to see the issue if just references the Adobe privacy policy.  Can anyone help me with this issue? Thx!

I purchased PSE 2021 for download.  I am currently using PSE 14.  If I install PSE 2021, will I still be able to use PSE 14 until I am adept at PSE 2021? Thanks in advance for a reply,Tyna Headrick-Phipps
