I have seen a You Tube video which shows how to fix this on Windows, but I need a procedure for an iMac.I gather that the update 16_6 package update does not work until you delete the original RAW  file.Can anyone help with this most annoying problem?I have tried to work out a Mac procedure from the above Windows procedure but the two systems are very different

I’m trying to clear space on my C drive, so I moved some photos to my D drive, which is a 1 TB internal drive. I did this successfully a few times, doing the move completely within the 2018 Photoshop Elements Organizer. But today when I tried that, I got an error message at the 100% mark, telling me that that a file “could not be renamed,” and the only option on that message was to cancel. So I then moved the files using File Explorer, figuring I could then reconnect them in the Organizer. That was about an hour ago, and it’s still not quite right. I did reconnect them, their tags are still there, I can see the files by selecting the tag. But most of the files do not appear in My Folders, which I often use to display my files. There are 4 subfolders in the folder that I moved. Two of the subfolders do not appear in My Folders. The other two folders are listed, but most of the files in those folders do not display when I click on the folder name. I’ve tried reimporting the media, which

I lost a computer in a house fire that had Elements 15 installed on it. Luckly I have a full backup available. I purchased a new computer and Microsoft gave us s different account name. How do I move all the tag information, pictures, folders, etc from a backup file to a newly generated different account name computer with Alements 24 installed?

Saved multi-layer PSD files created in Photoshop CC (Mac) are opening as one layer in Elements 2024 (PC).  I confirmed layers are showing before saving.  Attaching screenshots of both platforms. What am I missing?  

I purchased Photoshop Elements 12 in 2014.  I upgraded my laptop in June this year (2024) but was unsuccessful downloading my Elements 12 with my Serial Number.  Adobe keeps telling me that the Serial Number is being used by someone else, i.e. me!  So I deactivated the listing of my previous laptop computer and then tried to register the Serial Number but it still keeps saying it is being used by someone else.  Can anyone offer advice please.  Thank you.

I have a brand-new iMac, everything running fast and smooth EXCEPT PhotoShop Elements 2019.  Hangs, cuts out, takes FOREVER to get anything done.  What's up?

I'm working in PSE 2021. I don't know what I did here to cause this, but when I try to start a new file, I no longer see Untitled as an option. I'm seeing Document Type as "Clipboard," and my units are now pixels instead of inches. The Resolution is different, and so is the color (it's now grayscale and it used to be RBG). I was playing around with layouts earlier and maybe I clicked on something inadvertently. Can you please help? Thanks!

I want to install Adobe Photoshop elements 12 on my new laptop but get the message that the serial number is already in use for a maximum number of computers. However, I deactivated the program on my previous laptop. How can I solve this problem?

After uninstalling Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 for Windows and reinstalling the program, I got the error message code 81. "Update your browser.  Update adobe applications, operating system, browser to latest versions'.   My browser is up to date.   I tried autorun.exe and get the same error.   Ideas or help?

Where is the pdf manual for Elements 15 organizer?  The current link to the Photoshop Elements User guide displays the Elements 2018 organizer only.If anyone downloaded the 15 organizer manual, can you re-post or send the link, so I can download. thanks.

Elements 2023 crashes each time filter, distort, wave is chosen. Going nuts.

Not sure if this is the correct community, but grateful for any tips or suggestions on how to solve my colour profile problem. I am using Photoshop Elements version: 17.0 (20180830.m.125874) x64 with the latest version of Windows 10, an Acer monitor and an nVidia graphics card - NB I have tried letting the graphics card control the colour settings, but this does not appear to have any effect on impages displayed.  As far as I can, all hardware and software is using Adobe sRGB colour profile. I am really struggling with getting the correct colour balance for photos. The embed colour profile is Adobe sRGB, but the colours do not look correct in PE - if I correct them using photoshop to what looks acceptable, then they do not look right using other software that is set-up for Adobe sRGB, on my Samsung tablet or Panasonic TV.  The attached screen shot shows how different application, i.e. PE, Windows Photo app and NCH Photopad displaying the same slide - non is ideal, b

Macbook Air with Sonoma 14.6.1 and Adobe Photoshop Elements 2024I was curious about the mobile version(beta) and so went through the setup and and succeeded in getting it to run. It began by searching my catalog and downloading random photos which were identified by a blue cloud in the upper right corner.  When my trial session of the mobile version ended, I found 4 photos that had been downloaded to my notebook catalog.  The 4 photo (see screenshot) cannot be deleted and if I try to delete them, it causes the catalkog to freeze. I have to force quit the program.  How do I delete these 4 photos?

I have been using Elements for many years but am not proficient with it! When I upload photos to organizer from my SD card I would like them to go to my D drive and not C. I had it that way on my old computer but got a new one and it appears the one I tested to see where it went was to C:\Users\jmill\Pictures\Adobe\Photos from removable media\E   I have no idea why but would like them on my D drive. The Elements program is currently on my C drive too.  My photo files are pretty much a big mess that are categorized by date only.

Using PSE 2021 downloaded on my new iMac. When opening Elements Editor, prompted re: "Elements 2024" update. However, see atttached- it's PSE 2021.3. Updates to 88%, then "Error Code 146" . HI!I just stumbled over a odd problem another user mentioned in the Apple comunity. Machines: Macbook 14 M3 + MacBook 16 M3OS: MacOS Sonoma 14.4Photoshop Elements 2023 and 20242003 was installed 2023/03 and worked flawless until i discovered the bug today.Uninstalled 2023 with Adobe Uninstall software and installed 2024 version and same happen, again on both MacBooks. Either Version works as supposed, except:When i click on Settings (or how it's called in non German versions) (top bar menu point, all right side) then Photoshop Elemet crashes immediately and show a crash report.This happen immediately when clicking on either of the several Settings to choose from. Not sure if this is a German Language version problem or happen under other languages too. Adobe support suggested to create a test user with admin rights to check if same occures.I did that and same happen, PS E immediately crash/close after clicking on one of the several settings to choose from. Anyo

I just purchased Photoshop & Premiere Elements 2024 bundle, and downloaded, installed and registered both from Adobe directly.  I am unable to access either program without being online and logging into my new Adobe account.  I have a new, ramped Mac Pro.  If I'm required to be online to use the software, I'm going to cancel my purchase and get a refund.  Please help.

 I'm trying to extract an object from one photo to move to another photo.  I can not get the quick selection tool to outline  just the object I want to extract.  Is there a way to  just the object I want to move instead  area of the entire photo? 

Hello, I have a range of CameraRaw profiles (screenshot attached) that I'm looking to add as presets within the CameraRaw editor in Photoshop Elements. In CameraRaw 16.0, I have gone to Profiles > Import Profiles & Presets and select the files but when I try to import them it doesn't work. The files are all .dcp format. I have also tried importing the entire .zip file. I have also tried changing the name to .xml instead of .dcp and nothing is working. I get an error saying the files are already imported but then they are not showing in the editor anywhere. Any help hugely appreciated! Thank you. 

Hello, I have a problem with PE2023.I'm following a course/ tutorial and in a lesson they says to use the Mixer Brush. Now, Adobe Elements , I don't know why don't have a mixer brush (since it's similar to the smudge tool), I hope it will be introduced in the next update, as,  it's a simple tool and can fit good , also together the smudge tool, to be added in Photoshop Elements.   For now, I can 't go on on the tutorial, as the mixer brush it seems different from the smudge tool, or , do you know if there's a way to reach the same effect with other options /tools?I don't know, maybe the most expert could find a way to obtain the results the same (since elements it reach the effects in less time and is more 'immediate', but I don't know the software well yet. How can I find a way to make a mixer brush in Photoshop Elements 2023?And, basically, what are the differences between mixer brush and smudge tool?Thank you in advance for the help!
