Hey there,I've had this problem recently where I can't get footage shot on my Mavic or my Osmo to playback in Premiere. I've been shooting on my Mavic for over a year and never had this issue. I've done everything I can think of. I updated my drivers, updated premiere, cleared my cache. I've even deleted and reinstalled Premiere and my graphics drivers with no luck. I worked with support and they basically told me just to run it off the software rather than my graphics card, but if I do it that way, I can't get anything to render anyways.If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,I have several folders, each one has its own import folder (the mp4 or audios),But anytime I am done with a project and rendered my video (exported) the default EXPORT path is now following that path (truth be told I usually make copies of projects maybe thats why)I would like the default export path to be the same as the import pathSo whenevre I go import stuff from a path, I want the export buton to automaticaly show me that path as possible path to export to?Or any other solutions, I don't think there are "bookmarked" paths are there? (For export i mean not import, I know we have those for import)I could chose the parent directory as a bookmarked export path and then from there could avoid several clicks everytime (I prefer that than to find myself inside the export path of an old project)

Hey, where can I find these visual fade handles on audio clips (Image 1)? I really liked this fade feature in Vegas, and I’d like to know how to do it in Premiere. I dont find the handle on my PP 2024 (Image 2)  

I generated a transcript for my dialogue. But later on in editing, I had to edit one of the dialogue audio files in Audition to remove and add new lines. Back in Premiere everything updated except for the transcript. It still thinks it is the old dialogue. In the 3 dot menu the "Re-transcribe sequence" option is grayed out. After looking it up apparently I can only click it if I use a static transcript. I've closed and opened the project, cleared media cache, didn't fix anything. For now I'm using the static transcript, but it will be a pain when cutting and moving audio around on the timeline and need to retranscribe everytime. I'm on most current version of Premiere.

I need a way to use the software without it needing access to everything. When the software starts it asks for permission to access everything and doesn't allow me to continue unless it gets what it wants. I don't understand why that's necessary and I'll probably move on to a competitor if it can't be used without this. I used to edit on Premiere Pro four/five years ago without this being an issue. Now, all my files show up, which is chaotic and confusing, I can't import what i want, bit by bit, and have the clips organised how I'd like. It's an editing software, why does it need every single document on my laptop to function? It's unnerving and feels like there's some alterior motive behind it because it doesn't improve the functioning of the product as editing software. It makes it worse. But if there's a way to use it without this messy, invasion of privacy, that would be great.  Any suggestions would be appreciated otherwise I'll cancel my subscription.  

I am new to Premiere Pro.  Used to use Sony Vegas, and switched recently. I am trying to export like a 30 second clip from a larger video, and it's taking over 2.5 hours for the encoding. This is now the third time I’ve reported a massive slowdown when exporting my videos. And the few solutions provided haven’t changed anything. Six months ago, exporting a 40-minute 1080p video took 90 minutes. Today, exporting a similar video takes 210 minutes—four times longer!I’ve had the same computer for two years, the same graphics card for two years. My editing process hasn’t changed in two years, and I still work in 1080p (I can only imagine how long it would take if I were working in 4K). I can no longer work properly with Premiere Pro, which already has a reputation for being relatively slow. And I’m not even mentioning the countless bugs that make editing my projects difficult.I’d really like someone to look into this issue seriously and explain why the slowdown is so severe. I updated to the latest version and my software won't run. I get an error: "Adobe Premiere Pro 2025" is corrupted and can't be opened. You should move it to the trash. This file was downloaded on an unknown date. 

I edit videos that regularly have 3 different speakers, so I assign each bit of text to its speaker in the transcription section. This seems like it’s working perfectly. However, Premiere tends to place text alongside the wrong person but I just go in and manually change that. Then, you’d expect that when you turn that transcription into captions and apply different text/font styles to each person, the text would show up, accurately taking on the font/style of whichever person I’d assigned it to and you’d expect that tracks assigned to different people would appear on different layers in the timeline. However, it places all the subs in one long line as though only Speaker 1 said everything.      Again, while that’s annoying, I just put up with manually changing which text goes with which person. Even then, even though I’ve split sentences up so they go with the right person, I still have text intended for Speaker 2 that ends up on the end of a sentence aligned

Hello guys/gals.   I currently use 5-7 Zoom cameras to film my quartet.  I then import them into my PC, open Premiere Pro, and then have to manually sync them up to one another for editing.   Audio: I have the stereo audio feed being sent to each camera, so as we record the video, live audio is also being recorded to each camera.    Is there a better way of doing this please?   Much appreciated.    Mark   Note: I am retired and using an old, but solid, version of PP CS6.     

I want to apply the text settings to all text layers at the same time. How to do this in new versions

Hi all! Yes, I'm still using 5.5 and it's working great on my 2013 mac, thanks -- except for the title generator, which now and then stops accepting changes/edits. I've tried rendering, clearing the cache (I think, the preview folder?) and of course restarting. The other thing is, if I walk away and come back a few days later, I start up again and it's working just fine. I'm shutting down the computer (not sleep) when I'm not working. Any tips?Thanks!RM

I'm am sure I am missing something obvious, but I can't figure out how to geth the caption to indicate when speakers change. I'd like something like this: "[Speaker 1] So question, blah blah blah""[Speaker 2] Answer, blah blah" I have transcribed the audio, so the text distinguishes between speakers and have edits the speaker names and generated text transcription, but it never shows up. I know there is a way because people are talking about it and I have looked at a bunch of videos, but everyone acts as if it's automatically done and they don't show up either in the monitor or the exported MP4. . At one point, I was fiddling with markers, but that didn't make sense to me and I think I was going down the wrong path. Can someone just give me a step-by-setp account of how to do this? I'm new at Premier and still need baby steps.  I'm using the latest version: 25.5.0 (build 13). I use Windoes 11, which is also updated.   FIles with setting

I'm using the "Copy Auto Reframe Track to Transform" block, but it's producing some results that aren't correct. Is it possible the script needs to be updated? Let me know if providing specifics would help.I'm a fairly competent scripter, but I'm brand new to Automation Blocks - is it possible for me to fix it myself, or is this something only the original author could handle? Thanks,Ted

Is it possible to create multiple projects at once or more efficiently?I have a few projects I'm about to start working on and was wondering if it's possible to batch create projects beforehand either with scripts or plugins.Templates don't really help as the media files will have different sequence settings

Hello Guys, When I am drawing a shape , a anchor point shoing in its center,but when I am clicking outside the shape another anchor point is showing in the center of the Sequence, Now the problem is when I am rotating or scaling , the rotation is happening accourding to the sequence centered anchor point. Same problem with text also. Kindly help me how to fix this.

Venetian blind Effect missing in New update , Help

I recently filmed in 4K and my footage came back lagging. I tried using proxies (H.264 QuickTime) but the process took far too long and the footage still came out lagging. Does anyone know the best preset for creating proxies? 

I am using Premiere Pro CC 2017 on my laptop, and I was editing my footage as I usually would, and in the Program window, the footage was a red color (see picture below). Most of my other clips were fine, they were not different at all. After re-importing the footage, it was back to normal, but then it went back to being red. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and if I did anything wrong to make this happen. My video tracks were turned on, the original files were not corrupt, I only changed the speed and tried time remapping on the clips, and I didn't see anything that I did to make this happen.Are there any solutions to this problem?Thanks very much,Matthew F

I've been trying to use Search Bins for years. I just did a shoot that I labelled dozens of shots as "Magenta" across several bins. I thought I'd give it another shot. I created a Search Bin filtering for "Label - Magenta"...nothing. I literally saw a clip labled "Magenta" direclty above the bin. What's going on?

Hello.I am struggling to import audio files correctly, as I notice the audio sound is off.I changed it to a much shorter audio file, to get more details.For some unknown reason, MP3 files, when imported do 2 things.1. They will remove the first 2 seconds of any audio I import and replace the play length with 2 seconds of nothing at the end of the audio.2. They will only add 2 seconds of no audio to the end of the audio file.I found that if you rename the files, it will prevent glitch 1, but not glitch 2.I cleared all the cache as well.Not entierly sure what has caused the problem.
