I'm looking for some help with editing/working with ProRes RAW footage in PP. I have a Sony PXW-FS5 Mark II camera that is capable of outputting ProRes RAW via SDI to my Atomos Shogun Inferno recorder. I end up with a Quicktime/MOV file that looks flat (as expected). But I'm unable to find any good tutorials on how to work with this footage in Premiere Pro. It seems this is a newer feature in PP (working with ProRes RAW footage). See my attached screenshot. From my research, it seems like I should be able to change the ISO? Also, I'm not 100% sure which Color Space option to use. I suspect one of the S-Log options since I'm using a Sony Camera. But again, not a lot of tutorials out there I could find on this specific subject.
Show-stopping performance issue here! I am completely blocked from being able to work at all. Premiere is currently using 100% disk access and 100%+ memory usage, sitting idle, doing nothing! In Premiere Pro 2024, I opened a project originally created in v2023. Was prompted to convert the file format. After doing so, disk access on the drive where the video files are stored immediately skyrocketed to 100%. It stayed that way for a very long time. Two hours later, the drive was still being hammered to death. Completely unable to use Premiere at all, it was dead in the water because it couldn't play any files. CPU usage was near zero. Resource Monitor showed Premiere reading the source footage files. If it was trying to build peaks and caches, it did so with extreme inefficiency. Even worse, after closing the project, disk access persisted at 100%. Resource Monitor showed the same few source footage files being read. Eventually Premiere got tired I guess, or it felt it had
Hi all Suddenly the arrow selection tool (V) in premiere is misbehaving. When clicking on a clip where audio and video are linked, the arrow tool now only selects the audio or video part of that clip depending on where I click, but it never selects both of them like it used to do up until now (and for the last 10 years, I would say). In order to select audio and video I need to manually select them both, by drawing a rectangle around them or by ALT-clicking on both of them, which is really slowing down my editing process. Anyone knows how to revert back to the original way it behaved? Thanks Dario
Hi everyone,For the first time, I am working with Canon 6k RAW footage in Premiere Pro, 4k timeline. What's the safe workflow with clips, in order to not destroy pixels and retain quality? Will "Scale to Frame" be a destructive way to do this? If so, then scaling the 6k frame manually, will yiled the same destructive effect? Will "Fit to Frame" be the only non-destructive method, then? But then I can't reframe the 6k as I would wish within the 4k sequence? Thanks for any help,Jan.
Hello, After a few trys trying to follow people's videos on how to export my video, somehow I now have red numbers along the audio clip. What are they I have included a photo of them sorry for the distortion but I believe you can see what I am talking about. Thank you, Luey
SOLUCION EN EL SIGUIENTE MENSAJE ¡Buenas!!!

What is the problem? I want to export Quicktime Video with AAC audio. When I choose Quicktime as a format, there are no options for audio codecs, there is only "uncompresed" and no selection whatsoever. Why is it a problem? I want to distribute a video using Sprinklr. It has to be Quicktime because multiple tests have shown that it looks the best when posted to LinkedIn. Sprinklr only accepts AAC audio. What Version of Premiere am I on? 25.3.0 Beta and I also have 25.2.1 Final installed. What system am I on? Apple MacBook Pro 2023, M2Max, 96GB RAM, Sequoia 15.4.1 What have I tried and it didn't work for me? Using Media encoder is no different. Installing third party stuff like FFMpeg or ShutterEncoder is not an option due to security regulations at my company. Would appreciate any help here.

Hello, I've been working on an edit and out of nowhere my Motion and Opacity modules are missing from the Effect Controls Panel in Premiere Pro. This happend only to footage already in a timeline. If I import or create new clips/layers, those new ones DO have the Motion and Opacity modules. I tried looking for help online but the fixes I found did not resolve the issue, including reseting the preferences of Premiere Pro, Resetting Workspace Layouts, etc. Please help.

Just bought my newest MSI VECTOR via RTX5080, I just can't see footage with CUDA render. Even I try reinstall graphic driver (Either tried Game Drive and Studio), Premier Pro still the same. I feel like Adobe have made the anchor point so much more confusing than it needs to be. I've been looking for ages for a way to set the anchor point without messing everything up and messing up the position parameters of an object and I've finally found the solution. Before doing any animating in the Transform panel, I need to move the anchor point to where I want and then copy the coordinates to the Position so they have the same value. This now means I have a transform panel with position values that make no sense when looking at where the object now sits in the program monitor. I understand this is quite a hard thing to explain but that's why I don't know why Adobe has made this so complicated. Hopefully this screenshot helps. It shows my position values being 968 x 918 despite the image being sat directly in the center (as I want my anchor point to share those values). This makes things really confusing when trying to animate with proper coordinates and
Hi everyone, I'm experiencing a really annoying issue in Premiere Pro. Every time I make a cut in the timeline, the playhead jumps forward by several frames, sometimes even by a few seconds. Does anyone know what might be causing this? I've already tried restarting the program, but the issue persists. Thanks in advance for any help!See picture for my premiere version
I built a custom GPT where the user can copy and paste a premiere transcript and AI will find and rank the most compelling moments in the video. The GPT will then output a script that can be imported into premiere (via extendscript) and drop markers in the sequence at all the compelling moments, color-coded to the degree of engagement. The process eliminates tedious searching content for the most viral moments (like Opusclip) but requires the user to copy and paste the transcript into the GPT and then copy and paste the script into extendscript. Is Adobe working on AI features like this for Premiere? Is there any way I can access the transcript via the API or otherwise to eliminate the copy-and-pasting? Is there any way to run scripts in Premiere without using the Extendscript Toolkit? (like you can in AE)
Hello guys, this is my first post in this forum. So, I was wondering if someone could help me to fix my problem with abode premiere. I'm using Abode premiere CC 2015 15.4 and after effect CC 2015.The problem is that I'm unable to move the premiere project to after effect. Whenever I press replace with after effect composition, I got an error in premiere saying that "the importer reported a generic error"Any help would be highly highly appreciated.BTW I'm not able to update to the newest version of the software because my computer isin"t that good honestly.

Does anybody else expereince this? Does anybody know how I can get it owrking - what am I missing? In the screen shot I have not transcribed the sequence but that is the view I get when I have transcribed and exported. Many thanks in advance Matthew Emson
Want to move a group of clips + or - a specific amount of time. On a Macbook, so no numeric keypad (answers I've found say to use that). If I select clips & type +5:00 in timeline timecode box, it just moves the playhead.
Hello guys! Im still very much a beginner, so please help me in as much detail as possible if you guys can. I've been editing a music video for a friend of mine who is a musician. He needs me to embed an ISRC code into his video. How do I go about doing that in Premier Pro? Kind regards Richard
Hi there! I'm just starting to fall in love with Automation Blocks. My use case scenario is:Make.com-scenario to watch for google sheet changes -> convert to text file in Gdrive -> Push a button on the streamdeck that sends a http get (or a keyboard shortcut, or something) to trigger script in AutomationBlocks -> reads the text file -> updates mogrts from files. I'm wondering if there's a possibility of triggering scripts remotely, using local http, or some other way? I'm aware of CEP Events. Would I have to learn that, or is there another way of for example simply triggering a script by a local http GET? Thanks!
Hello! I just completed a three day shoot with TBs of footage for multiple videos in a series. Is there a script in Automation Blocks that would allow me to input the particular video of the series to the selected clips' Tape Name metadata? They are all strung out on a timeline, so ideally, I'd love to be able to select the clips on that timeline then have the script run on those. Any help would be great. Thanks! Andy
Issue - The RAM usage of Premiere Pro increases very quickly as I use the software. Software becomes very slow until it reaches the ram limit and my driver crashes.Adobe Premiere Pro version number: Version 23.1.0 (Build 86)Operating system - Windows 10 21H2System Info: CPU, GPU, RAM, HD:i7-11700KNVidia 3080 - Studio Driver 527.5632GBInternal NVME driveVideo format: Doesn't require video to replicate, just editing audio track in Premiere creates the issue. Audio recorded in OBS into MP4 format.Workflow details: Audio is recorded in OBS and then put into an external program called Timebolt. Timebolt creates an XML file which when imported into Premiere create a sequence with the silence taken out. I take the clips out of the sequence and put them into a new sequence with the desired settings.Steps to reproduce - Open up Premiere Pro, open up any project, scrub around the timelineExpected result - Software should function as normalActual result -&n
