Specs:Latest version of Premiere, Version 25.2.1Footage is all MPEG-4, AVCWindows 10 Proi7-5820K, 3.30GHZ32GB RAMNVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1650 SUPER I'm frustrated with a strange issue that's been going on for a while now. I'm pretty sure it's because of a new kind of audio I'm getting from one of my clients, float 32-bit (I cut weddings). It makes no sense because I work with 4K footage and that is fine, but the audio is making Premiere lag. Not right away when I first start a project, but the more edits I make in the track, the slower it gets, lagging 3-5 seconds whenever I click to make an edit. I turn off the audio tracks so that, as I go through the sequence, it doesn't make edits when I switch cameras, which is a doable workaround, but still irritating. Anyone know how to solve this issue?

This error mesage pops up whenever I open Premiere Pro. One of our IT people installed the latest Intel and NVIDIA drivers but the error does not go away. Is there a recommended driver version that I should install? I am using Premiere Pro version 25.2.1 

Have a recurring edit where time is critical.  Goal: send a clip out to external transcription.  Client corrects transciption on that service's site, then sends me back a SRT.   But while that happens, I'd starting editing the multicam.  At some point I'd import his SRT and continue editing.   Is this possible, and what's the workflow for "attaching" the incoming SRT to a clip that's been edited in a multicam?  Or another approach?  Thanks!

prrpro 25.2.1 build 2mac 15.4open an older project - with aep files inside of it. select aep file "file". edit original"this file is from older version - do you want to convert to new version" - yes. (save as "file_converted")edit new version - save.select aep "file" in premiere pro - clip/replace footage - but replace footage is greyed out.how do I replace the footage when it is greyed out?Is there another best practice for update older aep files when i am forced to convert them?thanks!

It doesn't matter what project I open, it completely maxes out my CPU within minutes, even when doing nothing.  Should I do a complete reinstall or is this an issue others have had? Because I can't seem to identify the issue outside of my CPU going out of control.

Hi,    Whenever I bring footage from the Canon E70 (.MXF files), there is a noticeable gamma shift in Premiere, but only on my PC. It looks fine on VLC and MPC, and also on Premiere on Mac (I've tested the same files on Mac, no issue).   The issue is ONLY in Premiere, and ONLY on PC (I haven't been able to test on another Windows PC, just my own).    This is how it's supposed to look (and how it looks in VLC and Premiere Mac):    And this is how it looks in my Premiere for Windows:    And when I export said footage directly through Premiere, I still get this gamma shift, but if I use the same settings, but export through Media Encoder, it looks normal (aka without the gamma shift).   I've messed around with the settings and just can't figure it out! Help me please!   I'm running Premiere Pro 24.5 on Windows 11 and my GPU is GeForce RTX 3070 (my NVidia Studio driver is always updated).

Ele apenas não exporta. Já atualizei os Drivers, formatei o PC, removi a creative cloud e reinstalei. Não imagino o que pode ser!Crashs contínuos: Quando estou editando seja no photoshop ou premiere, os programas estão funcionando normalmente simplesmente o sistema reinicia! Sem mais nem menos. Alguma forma de me ajudar com esses dois problemas?

I've been noticing while editing one of my videos that the background has went from all black to transparent. I don't even know what happened and it's suddenly no longer black. Without a color matte, the background outside of the video is transparent. Any way that I can fix this?

I'm running into an issue while editing in Premiere Pro 2025. I created a simple graphic template in After Effects 2025 and I'm using dynamic link to bring the AE file into PR to make my graphics for the project using the After Effects Editable Text in the Effects Controls panel. I have a number of graphics that include the registered trademark symbol (®), I'm copy/pasting it from a document that has it formatted as superscript and it even displays as superscript in the Editable Text box, but when I view the graphic in the Program panel, it's not formatted as superscript.  The trademark symbol (™) doesn't seem to have this issue; it displays as superscript in both places. I am able to go into the AE file and format the registered trademark symbol as superscript, but once I make any changes to the rest of that line of text in Premiere, it gets rid of that formatting and makes the registered trademark symbol full size again. Has anyone else run into this issue and found a

Hi All, I am trying to an image to a hand-held video footage, when camara is moving the image i inserted is also moving.  Can we stick an image at a position in hanl-held video. please suggest. 

Bonjour,  ma configuration : Première version 25.1.0 (build 73)PC : I7-14 ème génération, 64 go de ram, RTX 4060TI J'ai une séquence imbriquée avec 3 cams et 2 micros. Dans cette séquence la lecture se fait bien et tout va bien. Dès que je glisse cette séquence dans une autre, là la lecture est impossible, ça prend un temps fou pour faire la moindre action, je clique et il  faut 15 sec pour que cela agisse... ça ne le faisait pas avant et là  c'est vraiment galère.  Alors le multicam ne fonctionne encore moins .Les rushs sont en  50fps et mes séquences sont en 25. Je n'arrive plus à travailler, aidez mois svp ! 

bonjour a tous , depuis quelques temps les barres de defilement de fenetres videos ont disparu, lorsqu'on pâsse de "Adapter" à zoom a nimporte quel niveau les barres laterales et inferieures apparaissainent pour pouvoir se deplacer dans l'image. impossible de les faire reapparaitre et pas de manip trouvé sur le manuel utilisateur . c'est ultra genant pour du travail de precision en 4k 

Hey guys. For years up to a week ago i had a template premiere project with all my SFX and VFX and always added to a project (about 170GB on SSD) and then i mported my footage and work normally. Now if i add those VFX and SFX files premiere becomes so slow its impossible to work with. If i click on the "export" panel nothing happens, and maybe after 10-20 minutes while i'm working on the timeline an empty export panel pops up. And if that happens the "Text" Window becomes "UXP Panel" which is an empty window.  Everything used to work just fine a week ago. I'm working on a brand new Macbook Pro M2 Max 32GB. I tried uninstalling restalling, clearing cache, reset preferences but still nothing. I can still export with the media enoder. But in order to do captions i need to copy my timeline from one project to a new one and then the "text" window opens. Even if i do "remove unused" from the bin still nothing happens on the older, projects. Any ideas would

I am working in Productions with another editor and we have noticed files that only show up in the file structure, but not in Premiere itself with the ending "_conflicted". To me it looks like projects that were deleted, but are still showing up in the file structure. Does anyone know what this is? How should I deal with them? Can I delete them? Thank you!  

I cant adjust any effect using the moues on my timeline or in the effect control panel, how do i fix this? Ps: only way it let me change the values on the effect by clicking on it and type in a number value or using the up and down arrows on the keyboard

After the last update on Premiere Pro I have massive perfomance issues. I just wanted to check if I am the only one. I am working on Windows 11 are there some issues between Windows and Premiere? And can somebody help me with a workaround because I have 3 big projects but I cant work when Premiere is that slow I cant even scroll through the timeline.  PC Specs: Intel i9-13900KFNvidia GeForce RTX 4070 12 GBRAM 32 GBOS: Windows 11 Pro

Lately, Premiere Pro has been frequently freezing on one of my projects. When I move/drag clips, crop them, or enlarge them, my screen will stop responding and become greyed out for at least a minute. (The shortest lags are for 20-30 seconds, but they can be longer than five minutes). While I have a lot of clips stashed in the project library, the actual timeline has less than five minutes of audio and video, so that should not be causing the issue. It got to a point where it took three hours for me to edit just a few seconds of footage. I tried importing the files into a new project, but it froze and crashed. So, I restarted Premiere Pro, clearing the entire media cache and resetting the preferences. It seemed to help a little bit, but it is still having issues. My computer is only six months old, and I don't have a lot of programs running in the background. My other projects seem to do fine, although since I'm not currently working on them, they do not have as many clips. My uni

I’ve noticed that the names or positions of certain features in Adobe Premiere Pro often change. Is there a way to get updates from Adobe whenever they make these kinds of changes? For example, a few months ago, they modified the Essential Graphics panel by splitting one feature into two separate options—Graphic Templates and Properties. It would be really helpful if Adobe could notify me about such changes via email. Is there any way to receive those updates?

Hi, I have a very fast machine, Apple M4 Max, 48 GB Ram, but still struggling to get a fast workflow whilst using multicam I have a parent sequence, with a nested sequence which then contains a multi-cam sequence. These three tracks are also nested sequences. Here are my parent, nested and multi-cam sequences:  As you can see from this, the lag in the main parent sequence is very harsh (the spinning beachball doesn't show in the screen record, but you get the idea):  Next, I tried removing all the cuts in the nested sequence:  And voila, the lag is gone:  The lag also disspears when remove all the cuts in the multicam sequence.  Next I tried replacing all the nested clips in the multi-cam sequence, with the orignal MOV/MP4s and this also fixed the lagIs Premiere just not designed for nested clips inside multicam sequences? 

I usually start a project with my VOs using a Tube-Modelled Compressor effect.I would love to not have to go into every track and turn on the compressor and then set all of the settings to my specs every time I create a sequence.Does anyone know if it's possible to save a sequence preset with the audio fx loaded?The only option right now is to create a template project with a sequence created and ready to use.It's not a bad option, I know, but just wondering.
