Been using this software for many years but never had to select a group of clips (to adjust the duration on all). The usual windows select / shift does something else in pro. I had to select them one at a time with shift - click and unless you hit in exactly the center it unselects the whole group. What I want to do (in two clicks) is select a bunch of clips (just still slides) by click on the first, click on the last with ???
I am having trouble importing a 72GB MP4 file into a Premiere Pro Project. When I attempt to import the file, the software just sits there “importing”. I have tried drag/drop as well as importing, and get the same result.85GB Three days ago, I imported a 85GB mp4 file with no problem. But today, the 72GB mp4 file won’t go. My Premiere Pro is up to date. I’m on Windows 11 and it is up to date. I have cleared my Premiere Pro media cache. I normally work with files stored on my NAS that is connected to my computer via 10GBe ethernet. I moved the file in question to my computer hard drive and I get the same results. Any suggestions??? My computer specs are: Device name Desktop 5.5TB hard drive 5.0TB still available. Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900KF 3.20 GHz Installed RAM 64.0 GB (63.8 GB usable) System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Olá pessoal, estou com um problema,eu coloco a transição e não aparece ela, segue imagem do vídeo onde eu não estou conseguindo, ele é o único.
Just finished editing the first video I made in Premiere Pro, and the first time I exported in AVI, and it worked, but it was in 480p. I switched it to H.264 and now I get this odd error.
I can't open any project or create a new one. The program opens, I click a project or make a new one, it immediately crashes and a "sorry, an error occurred" window pops up. This was happening on my old macbook with 8gb of RAM. The diagnostic test thing recommended I upgrade to 16gb minumum. Fair enough, I just bought a brand new laptop with 24gb RAM. Same issue. When I run the diagnostics on this laptop, it tells me there's no issues. Please help, screenshot of the error for reference.
I am a media instructor at a college, so lots of students on Adobe. We are noticing that it takes 3 or 4 tries before a Color Matte and the Black Video will appear in the Project window. We have tried it through File>New, and right clicking in the Project Bin to add them there and I feel like we had better success with the latter. I am seeing the answer to this question is reset preferences and that is not workable for 90 students who all have individual adobe accounts and are new to the software. In fact, I think I read it is in the C drive and our students don't have admin rights to change anything in the C Drive or near the software. This new version is full of problematic windows that won't close, uncomfortable UI workspaces, absolutely absurd changes to the text functions and windows. What does resetting preferences do to other things we have already set for the semester?
The next issue I'm having is with subtitles: I’ve created SRT files for several films, and I want to add them to sequences, but I’m running into multiple problems.1. If I do get the file import dialog to appear, only the first 5 minutes out of 45 are added correctly.2. But in most other sequences, I either don’t get any subtitle import dialog at all — and I couldn’t find an option to add subtitles manually anywhere else.3. Or automatic transcription starts on its own and I don’t need this transcription, because I’m adding a translated version and not the original. But once the transcription starts, I no longer have the option to import subtitles. How can I fix this?
Hi all, Have this weird issue since moving to a MacBook from a PC. When I'm zoomed into the timeline, I can't see which clip I've selected (i.e. the white lines around the clip don't appear). Never had this issue on PC before. Any ideas of settings I should tweak on my MacBook and/or Premiere Pro?See attached video. Thanks,SimonSpecs:Adobe Premiere Pro (up-to-date)MacBook Pro M4 Pro, Sequoia 15.3.1, 48Gb RAM
Export WebM: Why does the file size remain the same with different frame sizes?Hi,I export the same video in the frame size 1280 x 720 and then again in 1920 x 1080. The file size (2MB) remains the same for all frame sizes. Shouldn't the file size decrease with smaller resolution?
When I use the opacity mask, the points I create do not align with what the software actually masks. Everything seems to be shifted slightly to the left. I found another post identifying the issue to be with pixel aspect ratio, but the instructions in that post to fix did not work. I have attached an image showing the problem. Any ideas would be appreciated as I work with these masks every day
Given that Premiere Pro is a non destructive editing tool, are there any consequences to the final output from ignoring the Unsupported Video Driver warning? In other words, if ignoring the warning creates visual anomalies for the editor, is that going to have any effect on the final Exported video file, or is that just what the editor will see when working on the project?Charles
Why am I suddenly getting this pop-up alert regularly? All my apps are paid for and managed through the Creative Cloud app.

Hello, guys.I have been experiencing a problem in Premiere Pro where creating a new color mat (for example) using a HEX code creates a mat of a completely wrong color.I know that it is wrong because using the same color code in Photoshop gives different results. The same mat created in Premiere and Photoshop will look different even after I have imported the exported mat from Photoshop nto Premiere.I dont think this is a sequence color space issue, since the colors look the swame in the source panel. All my seqences are in REC 709 btw, as have always been. Also, the problem is the same inside the premiere project and in the exported videos, so it's not about a video player or image viewer. The problem is the same with creating text, shapes etc inside Premiere, I just used mats as an example.I'm including an example which is a png file exported from Premiere. This problem has started occuring in the last year or so. I'm not sure with what version of Premiere it began, but I am current
Every time i add on a text layer it seems that the video (which is in another layer) skips a few frames back, no idea how this happened but i seems to accumulate if i add several text layers next to eachother, then when the text layer is done it skips back to where the video is supposed to be, if i add enough i can clearly see a video/audio synchronicity fail.if i do not have any text files then the skip does not happen. The pictures addes show that the only thing moved is the text layer, but also the video frame has been changed.
Hello all, Adobe premiere pro 25 and 25.1 will not launch. It will appear in task manager for a brief moment, then disappear. It never shows a splashscreen. Version 23.6.8 works. The same issue is present with Media Encoder. This is a brand new computer, but it is a Surface with snapdragon. System specs below. Windows is up to date. I have a problem, I want to use the transcription tool to automatically delete pauses in my video, but I can only delete the pauses when I transcribe in Portuguese, when I transcribe in English, Premiere recognizes the pauses, but the delete option simply appears as unclickable, what is happening?
For some reason, my clips are presenting flipped horizontally and I need to right them. I am seeing online that I need to access "Transform" in the Effects Panel but I am not seeing it there. I do see Transform in the Properties panel at the right but I don't see "Vertical Flip" or "Horizontal Flip" as referenced online in that section. Is the option I need "Rotation" instead? Thanks.
Every time I scroll out quickly using alt+scrollwheel down, Premiere bugs out and zooms my timeline into the maximum zoom possible. It is incredibly annoying especially when I'm working on two hour long + projects, and to zoom out to see the full timeline takes about a minute sometimes, with it constantly zooming in, or I use the minus key, but my one hand on keyboard, one hand on mouse workflow prefers to just be able to use the feature set provided in the software, without it bugging. This has occurred for a while now, but it isn't the case on some other PC's. I've even had it with a different PC, but a different user install would not observe this bug. Ryzen 9 7950x, NVIDIA 4080 Super, 96gbs ram.Premiere 25.2.1 (Build 2). It is not a mouse issue, I play competitive online FPS's, I would notice if this issue was occurring elsewhere. It greatly impacts my workflow and is incredibly annoying. It happens nearly every time I scroll out of my timeline (which I do every few second
Hi Why can i hear the sound of my project on playback but not when i want to get close to a point with arrows or mouse i don't hear a thing ? Thanks for the answer
Hello, I exported an XMP sidecar file including Markers and the Markers included comments about them.I opened the XMP file with a text editor and edited the comments about Markers. Then, I re-opened the project which was related to the metadata(XMP sidecar file), and found that nothing had changed about the Markers. Is there any way to edit the contents of the Markers outside of Premiere Pro?
Simple. I regret I didn't meet Davinci before, bought a more complete, modern, fully integrated software instead of buying this annual membership which will double its cost after a year. Let me address the first annoying bug I face constantly. Crossfades between video clips. Most of the time, it's simply disabled, or makes a tiny ultra little fade out, one frame. Others, it applies the crossfade to one of the videos. Which? Depends of Premiere Pro's mood I guess. And some few times, it does what any other edition software should do: apply the crossfade saying "not enough frames, using repeated frames". And that's the only thing I wanted since the beginning. What's really annoying, is that there's no logic. All the videos are generated by AI, same website... all the time with different results.I guess this random based on "premiere's mood" is related to another bug: IMPORTING AUDIO.What's the problem? Easy. Randomly, premiere decides it won't be able to import an audio file. Why? probab
