Questions

I have selected multiple clips on the timeline and applied an effect.  Now when I click away from the clips they will all deselect as expected, but when I click back on any one of those clips all of the previously selected clips highlight and act as a single clip.  All I did was adjust the gain of the audio to a group of clips.  Is there any way to deselect them and make each clip behave normally?  Running the most recent update of Premiere Pro CC.  I tried closing Premiere and restarting with the same result.  This is very baffling.  Any ideas?

How do I create a montage from several sequences contained in a single Premiere Pro project? I looked at using Productions, but that seems to be mainly for collaboration and way more complicated than I need. What's the best way to do this? Thanks.

Hello! I am really in need of some help. For me premiere pro has been running smoothly and perfectly on my PC ever since i've had it. I got an RTX 3080, 32GB RAM and an Intel I9 10900K. Like I said ever since i've had this PC (about 3 years) it has run perfectly and now just this week I am having really bad performance issues in premiere pro. It is not responding often, it is really laggy and choppy on iot's playback, my audio track runs but my video track is frozen. I have never experience anything  like this at all, my games run as perfect as ever, everything does but premiere pro. I have deleted my media cache, updated my graphics card, turned my play back quality down to the lowest, accelarted my GPU. I have done everything I have seen in articles and videos to help optimse performance but it hasn't helped at all. I have no clue what the problem is in my task manager, my CPU, memory and GPU are all running at like 30% thet aren't maxed out or anything. The only problem I

Having eliminated the old titler in Premiere, which had an automation in the management of scrolling text (Horizontal or vertical) in the new title section, I cannot find the automation to scroll a text horizontally but only vertically, unless don't use keyframes. Is there any automation in the new title generator or has it been eliminated entirely? 

After the recent update of Premiere Pro, the playhead is not moving while playing on the timeline. Is there an option that turns this on and off? I cannot find anything in preferences.

So...my preview files keep unlinking when I quit the software. I can re-render them, but why should I? Sometimes that kind of render takes way too long. Is there a way to relink the preview files - essentially pointing PP to the media?

 When clicking on a clip, I typically go over to the top left corner in the Effect Controls Panel + use the source drop down box to change it to S-LOG --> As you can see in this screenshot, you click the source and there is no drop down box to switch it. How do I get my settings correct to where I can do this? 

And then also labelling the cuts Orange. I tried asking AI but it's useless.

So this only happens if I update to version 25.1. When dragging the sliders in lumetri color the changes are lagging a lot, not real time like they used to. I switched back to version 25.0 and everything works perfect again. Reinstalled 25.1 and same problem. I have been paying for the Adobe subscription for a long time now and things like this make me want to reconsider continuing. My gpu drivers all up to date, Nvidia rtx 4080, I9 13900k, 64GB 6400mhz. Anyone had a similar problem?PS: I cleared the cache and reset the preferences but nothing. Global fx mute is not active. There are also not many layers stacked and the footage is very easy to work with, nothing hard on the cpu or gpu.

I'm using, Premiere Pro v25.1.0 on an iMac, macOS Sonoma v14.7.1 I created 608-1 Closed Captions for a project, but when I export a SCC file, the transform properties are messed up and aren't at all what they were originally. Not all of the captions are in different spots but a good portion of them are. Screenshots below. Here is what they look like when I make them in Premiere:And here is what the exported SCC looks like, re-imported into Premiere:I've checked all my frame rate settings and they match (29.97 Drop Frame), and I have no idea what could be causing this in the export. Can someone help? Why isn't the export keeping the original transform properties?

Ok so this is really annoying me.When copying and pasting clips on premiere pro from one sequence to another, it's not copying the motion attributes. So if a clip has been scaled up to fit the frame size, or if I have used keyframing for the ken burns kind of effect, it's not copying those attributes onto the other sequence when pasting, or when duplicating a sequence.Am i missing something? or is this a bug?Premiere pro version 2017.1.2 - macbook pro os siera 10.12.6Thanks

I am using Warp Stabilizer with Film Dissolve Transitions in place. The clip is stabilized except where the transition over laps the clip. The overlapped segment is black so that there is a flash to black instead of the transition. I did not notice that problem with Warp Stabilizer  in previous versions.

When I draw a circular shape on a white background and set the fill and line, the background is visible between them. The lines are drawn on the outside, but there should be no gap between the line and the fill.The first image shows the program monitor panel where the shape was drawn, and the second image is a magnified view of a portion of the shape, which shows that there is a gap and the background is visible.

I tried restoring a sequence in Adobe Premiere, but it still appears blank on my timeline. I tried clicking on the Project Panel sequence, but nothing worked. How do I get my sequence back on the timeline without making a nested version? (Using OS Sequoia and Premiere Pro 2024 - FYI.)

So I'm trying to import BlackMagic footage into Premiere Pro and every time I've tried I always get the message "unsupported file type or damaged file". I tried installing the BlackMagic Player plugin (the current version for the latest version of macOS, to specify), and with this I'm able to play the .braw clips fine so it's clear that they aren't damaged, but I still get the same message in Premiere Pro. Any suggestions or workarounds?

When I use the Zwo Pro font for subtitles, the umlauts are misaligned. The dots above the “u” in the word durchführen appear above the “h” instead. The word is written correctly in the Caption view but not on the video. I'm using Premiere Pro 25.1.0 (build 73). Tested with latest BETA but the problem still exists.

Hi! I've been using Premiere Pro for a while, but I had a problem with my graphics card, and now I'm using an old one. I want to know if there will be any issues using the program or if I can use it without GPU acceleration.I have a Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB of RAM, and now I've installed an NVIDIA GeForce GT 710, which is an old GPU I had stored since my main one got damaged. I'll be using this one until I can replace it. Thank you!

Makes no sense. Yes it's fairly simple to mask it and duplicated the crop but that does add another 5-10 minutes of effert when the crop option should simply come equipped with "feather" right? Am I the only one who thinks this is stupid? Might as well just not even use the crop option and just go straight to creating a mask smh

Good afternoon, I migrated to this latest version. The .MTS files from the Panasonic camera are having an audio delay. As I have a large workflow, I had to go back to using the 2023 version that I was already using. Can you tell me the cause of this error or bug? Another error I faced is that I tried to convert the files to .mp4, thinking it was a variable frame rate error. It simply does not accept the file. Hello world, I must be blind or experiencing some strange glitch or something, because this seems unreal. Media Encoder and Premiere are giving me no option to export video with mono audio in the dropdown under Audio tab of Export Settings. For the smarta$$es out there 😉 I need to export mono audio because some of the footage in my project is cell phone vid where the recording was set to mono for some reason, and I'm making proxies of everything. I can't make proxies of the mono audio clips because if I don't export with mono audio, Premiere then tells me when I go to Attach Proxies that it can't attach proxies that don't have the same audio channels. It's a death spiral! Please tell me I'm just being stupid and don't tell me I have to go to an old version just to export mono...

I animated the scrolling to land on the correct lyrics as required. No problems with Premiere behaving normally. Now I'm moving on to Medleys, which have five times the amount of text per file. Evening all, I have been having an issue for some time now where after a while i am unable to play my clips in the timeline with a sequence. For example, I may minimize premiere pro to read emails or use safari but then when i return to Prem Pro i am unable to press play.  I then have to shut down the software and then re-open it and it works for a short period then returns to not playing. I have spoken with an adobe agent twice at length and they have performed a full removal of all adobe products and re uploaded them. Also cleared cache etc and other things but it is still doing the same thing. This is becoming encreasingly frustrating as I am unable to work properly.  Has anyone else had this issue at all? Any advice would be greatly appreaciated as I am pulling my hair out with this at the moment.
