Viewer Gamma Choices Explained for SDR Color Work I don't know if you're on a Mac without reference modes, a Mac with Reference modes, or everything else. This will cover everyone basically. For reference, I work for/with teach pro colorists and have worked in both Premiere and Resolve for over a decade. Rec.709 standards require the screen/monitor to apply a display transform to the video data of essentially gamma 2.4. All broadcast specced systems, PCs, TVs, streaming, Android, and Macs with Reference modes set to HDTV  ... follow the proper standards. ONLY Macs without Reference modes use a different, and very much lighter, display transform! For some unfortunate reason, Apple uses essentially gamma 1.96 on all Retina Macs without Reference modes. Which presents a light image in the shadows of the same file data. They may also have a separate issue in mapping Rec.709's sRGB data to their P3 color space s

Fraime ioを使用できない状態になっているのでどなたかご教示いただけると助かります。 当初はエラーが表示されて使用出来なかったのですが、creative cloudでｖ4をインストールしてやっと通常の使用が出来るという段階まで来ました。その後、ADD　projectをクリックし、project　maneを入れた後、下のcreateを押して次に進む所で、createが反応してくれません。その為にここから先に進まず困っています。何度も再起動をして試しましたができませんでした。 仕事で使用する為、何とか解決したいと考えています。よろしくお願いいたします！

Apple M1 UltraSequoia 15.2 Premiere 25.1 in collaboration with After Effects 25.1 continues to lose Dynamic Links after I re-link over and over and over again. I work on a project in the office on my desktop Mac. Then work on it at home on MacBook Pro. Once the project goes through the string change relinking required everytime I change systems (perfectly understandable) it then keeps losing the link after I have clarified where Premiere should be looking for my After Effects project. For some reason it seems to forget what I told it a few minutes later and I have to relink all over again . . . over and over and over. This is not a new problem. So far, none of the ideas for fixes for some of the similar dynamic link unlinking actually work. Is this something that is being worked on at the application code level at Adobe? Please. It's an old old problem. G

Hi,So I finished a project and archived both the AP (using project manager) and AE (dependencies) to backup hard drives.In this premiere project, there are multiple AE clips linked to it. Some comps were created in AE and brought into Premiere. Others were clips in the premiere timeline that were replaced in AE.When I open the premiere project from the backup drive, one After Effects clip works fine. All the others show color bars.I've tried to relink them, thinking that is the problem, but Premier won't let me (it's grayed out). Is there a way to fix this so that all of the AE clips in the premiere timeline(s) work?Thanks

I recorded a video using DJI Action 2 camera and when I try to import (drag and drop) to premiere pro latest version, only the audio will get imported. I get an error message that says - File uses unsupported video compression type "vp09".Workaround that I use on my windows machine - edit the video first using default windows editing software Clipchamp video editor and save the clip and then import it to Premiere Pro.Premiere Pro version - 24.1.0 (Build 85)Platform - Windows 11 home - version 23H2; OS build - 22631.3078 

As the title says,I just downloaded and installed Premiere,some workspaces work, others, like Captions and Graphics, immediately crash it.It's not custom workspaces that create the issue but default workspaces. I can open the captions window on the "safe" workspaces (thank god!) I sent the report to Adobe, leaving my email. The diagnostics found a possible fix and asked me to reset some preferences. I said ok but the problem is still there. The same fix is then advised after the next crash. I already reset all preferences by pressing Alt while launching Premiere, to no avail. I even tried to cancel all the custom workspaces, even though they don't seem to be responsible for the issue. Oddly, they always appear after I launch the software again. Previous version of Premiere Pro have been installed on my computer reset previously.

Hello!I have recently converted some team projects to regular premiere projects and am finding that once that is done the file path is missing and batch re-linking is not possible. The only way I am able to re-link seems to be clip-by-clip (I named the bins in the project by camera so I am still able to easily find my clips despite the file path being missing - however since batch re-link is disabled it is proving to be way too time consuming to re-link clip by clip).Has anyone found a resolution to this issue?! After the latest update the scrolling feature in zoomed Program view disappeared.1. Version 24.4.1 (Build 2)2. Platform: Mac OS Sonoma3. Zoom Program window to 100%4. Used to be able to scroll up or down, right or left in zoomed view, after the udpate the feature is unavailable.

Hola a toda la comunidad.Tengo severos problemas con premier pro 24.4.1 Puedo generar nuevos proyectos y trabajarlo. El problema viene cuando guardo, cierro y cuando vuekvo a abrir, se crashea por completo. Me da el aviso dque está trabajando con muy poca memoria, todo el sistema se alenta y se cierra. Ya no puedo hacer nada.  Ya intenté todas las soluciones: Borrar datos de caché, desinstalar la app, cambiar de versión.Mi equipo es una Workstation DELL Precision. las especificaciones son las siguientes: NVIDIA RTX 2000 ADA INTEL i7-13700H32 GB DE RAM 

When I'm editing video in Premiere Pro, I have to turn up the volume on my PC because it is so quiet.  When I then render the audio and listen to the same video in VLC or Subtitle Edit, the audio is much louder, at a good level. In Windows 11's Volume Mixer. Premiere Pro, VLC, and Subtitle Edit are all set to 100% volume, and all are using the Default output. So why is Premiere Pro so quiet?  Is there a way to boost its playback/preview volume to the same level at VLC and Subtitle Edit, without actually increasing the volume of the clips within the project? Thanks.

Can someone tell me why this appears when I try to enter Premier Pro? 

Cut & Paste does not work in the Captions panel:1. Highlight some text in a caption in the Captions panel.2. Ctrl-x to cut it (don't copy it). The text disappears, as expected.3. Click in another text caption in the Captions panel.4. Hit ctrl-v to paste it.Nothing happens.It seems "cut" performs the same task as "delete". The workaround is to copy the text, then delete it, then paste it elsewhere.

Hello,I'm having issues with Premier Pro exporting to my laptop. The file will export maybe 20% and then freeze unable to finish the exporting process. Please Help CheersDave

Hello, question to people who use VS Code and Extend Script Debugger, can You write a code to make color correction process automatically? The code suppose to read a lumetri scopes for each video file on timeline, on by one, and then change the highlights, Shadows, blacks and whites in lumetri color panel to make lumetri scopes extended from 0 to 100. Any help? The thing is, I always record with color LUT already turn on in camera. That's why in color correction, I just need to change basic correction to make the picture more contrasted and dynamic.

When exporting Markers as HTML, the progress bar freezes at a tiny percent (blue half circle on left of progress bar).After several minutes, I cancelled the export, and receive pop-up that export has completed. Browsing to the exported folder, the HTML opens with all text data, but only the first image. All other images are disconnected and not found in the HTML's images folder. I've tried on several sequences, some with as little as three markers. Interestingly, the only sequence that will export any images at all is a very long sequence with lots of markers. All other sequences, even the simple ones, don't export any images at all. I've tried exporting to external hard drive and desktop, but that didn't solve the issue. Exporting markers as .CSV works fine. Windows 10 // Premiere 25.1.0 (Build 73)

Hey yall,I am in a tricky situation. Basically I have an entire 95 minute timeline that was built out with 6k footage in a 6k timeline. The previous editor frequently cropped/zoomed in on clips such that on the timeline the clips are scaled to 150% (for example). Technically this is no problem because that is still more resolution than 4k. However, my concern is when we do the final export in 4k. Will premiere preserve resolution? Or do I need to rebuild this whole thing in a 4k TL? This will be shown in theatres via DCP so it really does actually matter. Thanks so much 🙂 ❤️

I need help with this, desperately... I have managed to follow a video fully, but for some reason my pc doesn't have media feature in optional features I require desperate assistance, because despite having Graphic Tools installed, it still doesn't work.

Hi all, This has been covered a few times with several different variations to it and different solutions. I've included an example in the video below. To illustrate, everytime I clicked anything on the timeline I immediately started making circles with the mouse, so you can see how long the delay/lag is. I've trashed my preferences and cache, made sure there's a lot of space on the hard drive that I'm working on, closed essential graphics and force quitted the Adobe 'CCXProcess'. Trashing the preferences speeds things up a bit for a while, but then not long after the lag begins. Any ideas?  Huge thanks in advance. Whether using Premiere 23, 24, or 25 - the clip synchronization function doesn't work right. It seems to work  with camera clips with embedded audio, but as soon as I add an audio WAV file, it doesn't work properly (only audio track 1 comes up as an option - no other tracks or a mixdown option). I think I found a work around where I sync the cameras up first, then add the audio file. Shouldn't you be able to do everything at once? It used to work well in previous versions (22 and under). Mac Studio 2022  Apple M1 Ultra chip128 GB MemoryOS Sonoma 14.6.1

 In Premiere 2025, the clip colors have almost the same outline color so it just looks like a continuous clip. The audio has dark outline that clearly shows where the clip begins and ends. This is the case for all the different colors for the video clips. Is there any setting to get the outline?

Then, we have a new day of footage, for which I create a new project in my Production and ingest the footage into it Let's say I name the project "DAY12_250223". If I upload the project to LucidLink and the editor downloads it onto his SSD, would the proper workflow be for him to, within his Production, "Import Project"? Would his Production be giving this project a different ID than it has in my Production? If he uses clips from the "DAY12_250223" project in a sequences and shares the sequence with me, when I open the sequence in my Production, will Premiere be conf

I’m having a problem with the multicam feature with Premiere Pro.   I’ve used this feature multiple times, but I seem to have to hit a roadblock recently.   I haven’t been able to access the multicam option within the program monitor.  I only see a one camera option.   I can access the entire multicam file by clicking on it within the project panel which opens up in the source monitor, but I can’t edit with that.   I saw that this was a problem a few years with an older version of Premiere Pro, but I’m using the latest version.   I’ve tried a few of the suggestions listed in the previous post, and even tried to reset my presets, but nothing seems to work.   Premiere Pro 25.10 MacBook Pro with M3 Pro

 Whenever I open a project in Premiere Pro 25, the program crashes immediately. I am not using any plugins, and I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application, but the issue persists. I also used the Adobe Creative Cloud diagnostic tool via the crash report panel, which didn’t detect any issues. After downgrading to Premiere Pro 24, I experienced the same crash upon opening a project. When I import the files using a new project it just says “Import files” for hours.  What is happening with Adobe? I have pressing work deadlines and am at a loss for next steps. Whenever I import a video, it randomly turns into a grayish hue. It's not how the original video was taken. I've tried everything I can think of to fix it (I'm still a beginner), but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help me out? It's happening with all my clips at the moment and other times; it doesn't happen at all—it's strange. I've attached a photo below.
