For anyone going to NAB/2026 in Vegas next week, I’ll be there and would love to meet up. Private message via the forum works well, but also, if you check in with the Adobe booth, normally they can tell when they’ve seen me recently. Neil
you recently moved masks from the effects panel to the toolbar.please don't do that. We have workflows that get interrupted when you do dumb - like this. When you improve/upgrade something, leave its location alone or at least have an option to leave it where it is.It’s so annoying to be in the middle of a project and have to relearn how to do something because your designers got cute. Mod note: Edited for language. Please keep posts free of profanity. See Adobe Community Guidelines: [link].
I am trying to create a sequence with the same source clip in two regions of the screen in a sequence. I want to show one with no LUT applied and another with the LUT applied. I’m trying to create a video that compares LUTs for the same input. Whenever I select either “None” or one of the LUTs, it applies it to both source clips. I can apply different color settings under the “Edit” tab of the Lumetri Color tab and that works. But when I select a LUT, it applies it to all the source clips. Maybe this is what I’m messing up: I am not sure how the controls to the left of each clip in the Sequence panel works. Here is my current selections: What do the “V1” and “V2” buttons do? Toggling them on and off doesn’t change the sequence as far as I can see…
Hi Adobe Exchange Support Team, I’m currently developing a CEP extension for Adobe Premiere Pro and need urgent guidance on digital signing and certification for distribution. We’re running into a widespread issue: all major certificate authorities have recently restricted the ability to export .p12 and .pfx files due to private key security protocols. This has effectively blocked traditional signing methods required for Adobe Exchange. We are now exploring cloud-based code signing options as a potential workaround — and possibly the only viable path forward. If Adobe has any officially recommended providers or documentation on how to sign CEP extensions using cloud signing infrastructure, we would greatly appreciate direct links and guidance on how to proceed. Our goal is to get this extension signed and approved for Adobe Exchange as soon as possible. Any help you can provide to expedite this process would be incredibly valuabl
The Apple ProRes 422 Proxy preset that I usually use on my footage is locked into a color space which doesn’t work for the footage. If I make proxies like that, the overexposure gets baked in and whatever Color settings I have on source clips or sequence settings will fail to right them. This is especially crucial because I’m working in a workflow where I will hand the project off to the editor with proxies only for them to cut (low budget project, all of the footage of the feature cannot fit on one drive) The overexposed look baked into proxies using the preset Apple ProRes 422 Proxy with dimensions downscaled to 1,280x675. The only settings that allow the export color space to be changed are the non-proxy presets meant for transcoding. IE this Adobe Stock 4K DCI with Audio (Apple ProRes 422 HQ), where I change the Export Color Space to Rec 2100 PQ to get the raw, flat look (which then creates a proxy which works better with the Auto Detect project setting in Lumetri Color). Even when
I have to work with small masks and every time I try to in premiere pro, it doesnt give me the little open hand symbol to let me move it around, even if I zoom in to like 400%. I press the shortcut "v" to get to the normal mouse, and go try and move the mask and the only two options it gives me is to move one of the points with the little "o" sybol next to the pointer or it gives me the option to make a new point with the pen. It gets real annoying when I have to open After Effects and link a file when premiere pro is supposed to be a profesional editing program. Either tell me how the hell to move tiny masks or FIX THIS
This is not really a question, but an answer. My answer, anyway. (Dammit - Had an even longer explanation of all this but Adobe wiped it all out when I went to “edit” it. Grrrr. So here goes a shorter statement...) When exporting using Media Encoder video looks washed out. When NOT using Media Encoder, video looks the same (as what you see in your Program Monitor.) This problem IS real. It’s subtle but clear and often UNACCEPTABLE. And there is no “fix”. It is very apparent when using QT for playback, and, more critically, for me, as videos show/play on Vimeo. I had for a time applied a Gamma Correction LUT on export to restore some of the contrast which had been lost (adding it under EFFECTS in the export settings.) I didn't like it, but it seemed to fix the problem. But what was it doing to everything else? I don’t know, but it probably wasn't good. I stopped using it over time, thinking, I guess, “Adobe must have fixed this problem by now.” But no...) After many hours / days / month
I started yesterday to work on Premiere Pro 2026 and have been experiencing the following issue: when editing with headphones, the audio track on channels 1 and 2 come out only from my left headphone, and channels 3 and forward are muted even if the “M” button is obviously off. Without headphones the problem doesn’t exist. I have already checked the settings on “Audio Channels” and it is set to Stereo L+R, so the issue really doesn’t make sense.I am not experiencing this issue on the 2025 version or on the Beta version, while using the same settings.Applying audio effects such as Fill also doesn’t work - and even if it did it would be highly impractical to apply an effect to each audio track for this purpose. I have also checked with colleagues and compared settings - mine seems to be an isolated case. Is there anyone who could help me fixing this? It is really a drag. Thank you!
HelloEngaged in learning Flexbox using Udemy courses.Needed to create one page two columns full article to the left photos with complementary text to the right. The page needs adjustments so that it has a good fit using Flexbox and styles. The text needs to be improved upon. I don't know how best to create that style -though I have made a few attempts to work with textual styling.I am working on two paths :\public_html\meherbabaarchives\babalist\list_u\public_html\meherbabaarchives\images\Baba Screens\upasnifin\upasni00_0003.jpgThe first instance when I did a FTP upload the page look as a draft as expected; text to the left: photo to the right. As I continued to work with this page after uploading the revised drafts the photo was no longer visible. In Dreamweaver I use Properties. Browse to source. Photo is visible. Upload via FTP photos is no longer visible. The issue is with the photo. In Dreamweaver the photo is there - with the src: <div class="image-box"> <p><img src
Preference/Setting; Media > Default Media Scaling > Scale to Frame Size doesn't seem to work anymore starting version 25.Set to Frame size has become Fit to Frame; which is fine. But Scale to Frame Size just does the same as 'None'.It works as expected when using the fly out menu in the timeline btw.My suggestion would be to remove it altogether... 😉 'Fit to Frame' is always better in my opinion...
The caption is exporting the top layer, not regarding if it’s hidden or not. I have 4 layer of captions. I hide layer C1, C2 and C4, and try to export (using file - export - captions) the captions, and it export C4 instead of C3 (that is the only one not hidden).
Recently, I switched from an RTX 3090 to an RTX 5080, mainly because of 10-bit support, as I work with this kind of footage on a daily basis. After installing the card, I did a test render and found that render times were 6–7 times slower than on the 3090, which was really weird. I tried everything I could think of to fix it, and I even formatted the C drive, but nothing helped. In general, Premiere Pro (26.0.2) uses only about 5% of the encoding capacity, while an older version, such as 25.2, uses about 11–12%. I also tested HandBrake, and there the GPU was being used to its full potential. The same raw clip took about an hour to render in Premiere, while HandBrake finished it in 7 minutes. Timeline performance is also significantly better on the 5080 than on the 3090, and I pretty much no longer need proxies. However, when it comes to final rendering, my iGPU can now render faster than the 5080. Do you have any idea why that might be?Specs:CPU: i9 13900KRAM:128GB DDR4 3600 MHzGPU: RT
I’m working on a feature documentary on version 25.3 ON AN M3 macbook pro running sonoma 14.4, and for some reason when other people open my project with cloned media, their systems crash. This has happened on multiple edit systems running the same version of Premiere. The original media is 4k, and a full set of proxies has been made (I’m editing with the proxies). My project works great, but I’m concerned that when I go to online I might have the same problem. Any possible solutions?
I created a subtitle template in MGRT format. I want to apply changes to all the subtitles in my video at once (font, outline color, text size). I can’t find this option, and I can’t export it as an MGRT template either—that option is disabled. How can I apply these changes to all MGRT subtitles on the timeline at once? I have a 2-minute video, and it’s impossible to edit each subtitle individually.
Hola.
Imposible editar obviamente. Intenté reiniciar, apagar, actualizar controladores de video, nada dió resultado. Intenté volver a versiones anteriores. Nada dió resultado. Como se soluciona esto?
I have been struggling with this issue for ages. I need to transcribe my footage to make captions, but it doesn't work. It states: No dialogue found.I checked this community for months for a solution and tried almost everything. For example:Re-install Premiere ProRe-install the language packageChange audio from stereo to dual monoUse media encoder to change the file typeTrying old footageTrying different footage (video from my phone) I'm at my wits end. Of course I'm using the latest version of Premiere Pro.Is there someone who can help me fix this? Marc
When translating captions, there are often terms we do not want translated (we actually have a do not translate list we use when working with vendors). This includes things like field names and industry specific terms. I am wondering if there is a way to somehow identify these words as exceptions in the English captions when using translations in Premiere. Thanks.
In PPro 2025, I uprezzed an SD video to 1920 x 1080, did some video and audio editing, then added anti aliasing. The video looked great. Then I upgraded to 26.01 and the Circle filter and Anti Aliasing filter are not in 26.01. The jaggies are back. Can someone send me an anti aliasing filter from 2025 or prior versions to test in 26.01?
Yes i’ve used chat gpt to help me write this cause i’m busy lol It was useless at finding the problem tho. Maybe today you can be better than Chat GPT lol P.S - I'm happy to try out anything again. I have an iMac 10.15.4 using a Retina-screen. I have recently discovered the apparantly quite common problem that the colors when I export my video with H.264 looks "washed out". I'm using Premiere Pro 14.1. This is how it looks in Premiere, Quicktime and VLC respectively. VLC looks... better. And I've heard that Quicktime is notorious for changing the color of videos. But this extends to the web and watching it on Youtube, both on a Mac and Chromebook, it still looks washed out. Chrome on my Mac looks a bit better, but still not what it's supposed to. Reading up on this I found a LUT that should apparently fix the problem, making the exported video look like it does in Premiere. The problem is that I have edited with Display Color Management off, and using the LUT makes the video look the way it does with DCM turned on, which is way too dark. I therefore have the issue with my video getting too bright when I export it normally, and too dark when usi
using editing operations on the sequence timeline containing markers will now delete those markers. it didn’t use to be like this. but now, for example, if you mark clip (x) and the clip’s first frame also has a timeline marker, the marker will get deleted. if you do a tail ripple edit on the same type of clip with a timeline marker, the marker will also get deleted.
Hello, I recorded a few files using the new H.265 codes on my Atomos Ninja V and I encountered some difficulty trying to open them in Premiere Pro. As soon as I try to load the file in my timeline, the entire app crashes and quits (see attached photo). Has anyone experienced this before? Is there a workaround I can use in the meantime just to get these clips cut and edited? I am running Premiere Pro 23.3.0 (Build 61), which I believe is the latest version of Premiere. Thanks.
I have a Track Matte Key effect on a video layer. I have a matte on another layer, and I have the track matte set up to reference the matte layer - which is all working as expected. But if I then change the Position of the video layer, the track matte also moves with it. “OK” I thought. “Obviously the Track Matte Key effect is being applied before the clip’s Transform. I know a way around this!” So I duly applied the Transform effect before (above) the Track Matte Key effect, so the position change happens first then the matting happens next. But imagine my disappointment to see that regardless of the effect ordering, the matte is also moved! This is most definitely a bug, because if I rotate, skew or scale the clip (using the Transform effect), it all behaves as expected: if I do the Transform after the matting, everything - including the matte - is transformed. If I do the Transform before the matting, the video is transformed, then the (untouched) matte is applied, as you’d expect.Th
Maybe I should write this on feature report, but maybe I am stupid))When I add video or audio track manually, Premiere creating video or audio tracks after last track(for example, I have a 3 video tracks and 6 audio tracks, when I manually creating audio tracks, they creating A7 (same with the video tracks, they creat V4)), BUT when I creating audio or video track with shortcut, they ALWAYS create after fisrt audio or video track and It is a little bit annoyng.Maybe I am doing something wrong and Premiere has a different shortcut for creat audio and video tracks after last track?Trank you
