Hi I am a novice to scripting:I use the "import properties of clips from spreadsheet" script, to alter parameters in my mogrt clips on my timeline (timeline is V1-V12, each Videotrack contains a seperate mogrt clip). On default there is Graphic Parameter named "Text" that contains the word "DELETE" This way when I run my script, the altered rows will have the parameters changed to "XXX,YYYY etc" , the unaltered rows will still say "DELETE" For instance clip 1 on V1:Clip NameParameterValueClip Path in ProjectGAME1_Team1_Team2Graphic Parameters\TextDELETE\YYMMDD_MDXX\GAME::V1\1 I basically want to write a script that first: - selects only the clips in my sequence that contain the word "DELETE in the "Graphic Parameter\Textand then- deletes those selected clipsI thought by using the clip param block it would work, but sadly it doesn't. Kind Regards, Floris

I've done another sweep through online discussions about editing on a Mac with its idiosyncratic gamma setting and nothing much seems to have changed.  So you're editing in Premiere, adding LUTs to footage, color correcting in Lumetri, everything looks great on the Mac Studio and the video monitor, then you export at a reasonably high bit rate and in the Mac space, the video looks washed out. Once uploaded to online (Vimeo, Youtube, Facebook, etc), it should look more like it did in Premiere but really it still looks low-contrast. Some of this is from two major passes of compression. But isn't there some LUT or treatment that can be applied on exporting from Premiere that can at least minimise loss of contrast, etc? I've been fooling around with SDR and Tone Mapping in the Export Effects tab with mixed success. Working on Mac Studio 2022 M1 Max 32gb ram, OS Monterey 12.7.6. I really don't know how you video people do it! So many things about PP are just weird, like I've just spent 15 mins trying to figure out why the transform handles are not showing up as I want to scale by visibly adjusting the frame itself in effects control but they're not showing ... turns out if your project is over a certain resolution, they just dissapear. So, no joy on that one. I'm now going to export, but to get decent colors I have to use a gamma LUT otherwise the colors are a wash out. Want to export to mp4 but the frame size isn't a factor of 8 ... have some black bars around the edge! Want to zoom in a bit, hold it, then zoom in again via scale in effects control ... nah, that's just going to give you weird motion. I really don't get why everything is so clunky and just plain weird! I know PS, ID, XD, yadda yadda, but does that help me with anything in PP? No! 🤯 You guys need to get your PP s*** sorted out 😑

Hi! I shoot my footage on an fx3 and my audio is recorded using 4 channels. channel 1 and 2 are two lav mics and channel 3 and 4 are boom. By defualt premiere pro makes all these clips mono. I want them to be stereo as I record stereo audio. what boxes should I tick for the channels 3 and 4 in order to make my boom tracks sterio?

Hello,Lately, when I use the synchronization tool on Premiere Pro (right clip on the selected audio lip > synchronize), it's very slow. I mean, it took at least 10 minutes. It used to be just few seconds.Maybe I've changed something in my settings that I'm not aware of... Has anyone rune into the same problem and has the solution please? Thank You

Quand je souhaite réviser un ancien projet Premiere Pro avec Premiere Pro 2024 V25, l'ouverture de cet ancien projet s'effectue ainsi:- Demande de renommer le projet- Avertissement sur les titrage hérités remplkacés par des objets graphiques- Avertissement sur les effets obsolètes- Demande si je souahite conserver les rendus- Chargement dui projet- Mais, la fenêtre "Projet" ne s'affiche pas. En demandant l'ouverture de la fenêtre "Projet" , elle ne s'affiche pas et un rectangle orange apparaît avec la mention "La matrice ne peut être inversée".- Il es impossible de réviser le projet. A noter que Premiere Pro 2024 fontionne parfaitement sur les projets en cours. Application : Premiere Pro 2024 V25PC bureau : i7-12700 2,10 GHz - 16 Go de RamOS : Windows 10 pro 64 bits V 22H2  

Premiere 23.5.0Nvidia drivers 528.86Windows 10 Version 1904511900k Quadro RTX500064gb ramMicron 3400 1TB NVME ssd Yes yes, I know how to Window>Timelines and select my timeline, that doesn't work. I'm running 3 monitors with Premiere in a custom workspace, one monitor is dedicated to my timeline, lumetri, audio meters, and tools. This monitor does not contain the "main" Premiere window that has the toolbar with File/Edit/Clip/etc. When I either click "Export" or ctrl+m to export my timeline, my window containing my timeline dissapears and the timeline window is not visible on any monitor. After sending to AME or clicking export the timeline does not return. Selecting Window>Timeline does not restore the timeline. The only way to recover the timeline is to reset the workspace to the saved layout.All other premiere windows stay visible. The issue started occuring when Premiere updated to include the new export interface (I believe in Premiere 23).Expected behavior: a

For a while now, I've been having an issue exporting captions.  For some reason, "<b>" would appear before and after each and every line in the SRT file.  Of course, this created an issue when trying to post the file on YouTube. I JUST discovered the cause for the error.  In addition to selecting "Bold" as the Font Style, I had selected "Faux Bold".  (Just to the left of the "Faux Italic" button.)  So, be VERY careful when selecting the style or else your exported SRT file will be useless! By the way, the font I was using was Arial Rounded MT Pro.  I don't know whether this issue appears with all fonts.

Audio drifts in and out, disappears, come back on, then repeats the cycle, this warning pops up "Audio not found at 00:00" . . . . .I've tried changing audio format, from mp3 to wav. Already updated drivers, changed audio hardware settings. Using latest version of PPRO but I've also installed the beta version - same problem. Cannot continue work, needs fix asap! Win 11Ryzen 5RTX4070ti  

  https://imgur.com/a/2BaI7jC I want to export ProRes MOV which have labeled by custom name(for example : LFE screen) and discrete audio channels one channel per one track, like above screen shot.I have a lot of tries like... bus, audio types change and render 'all time line tracks', render 'discrete all channels' in Davinci or Premiere, but I can't still figure out, how can I export exact same appearance like above screen shot. I need to put custom name into each discrete channel.Could you anyone help me? 

Seriously, we can't import .flac audio files into Premiere still?  Am I missing something?Has anyone tried http://valion.net/flacimporter64/ ?  Any good?Not sure why Adobe wouldn't support this FREE, open-source format.  I'm thinking about converting my 8,000 licensed songs, jingles and sound effects from .wav to .flac so I can:have the ability to tag them (8000 clips is a lot to search through one by one)chop file sizes in half.I guess I've asked 2 different questions in the same post, so why not go for 3 as long as I'm breaking etiquette.  Do you see any problems converting a audio library from .wav to lossless .flac?  Anyone ever had any problems with this?

My job is to re-edit already made videos, and it would make my life much easier to have the videos already cut for me so i can use the clips individually. So I was just wondering if there is a plugin which exists that can cut these videos up for me so I don't have to go through the video and manually cut every scene.   How I expect it to work; I would drag the original video into my timeline, and the plugin can determine where exact cuts need made because of colour change in scenes for example.   Thanks   Rory

Ive been using PP for a few years without issue on a macbook with M1 16gb, but recently Ive been editing 360 4k and it couldnt cope, so I shopped around and although wanted to get an m2 pro chip, it was a little out of my price bracket so went for an asus vivobook, ultra 9, 32gb ram, intel arc graphics. i installed PP v 24.6.1 and as soon as I click import it comes up with a crash report screen.  In my research Ive uninstalled all adobe restarted and reinstalled, installed several earlier versions, deleted media cache, upped the ram to pp in preferences. I spent 2 hours with IT at the uni but to no avail. When I drag any clip onto a sequence it always has Show Clip Keyframes turned on with the Opacity slider active.I cannot seem to find a way to turn these off for the whole of Premiere - I can't even turn them off for each clip, the best I can do is switch from Opacity to another keyframe option that is less annoying.It is a real pain having these always on as I never want to control keyframes within the timeline and I keep changing opacity settings accidently. Can someone tell me how I can turn this setting off globally.Thanks

Whenever I copy audio from one sequence and paste it to another, it looks like I'm having a bug that causes the audio levels to spike tremendously. When i look at the audio settings, it shows that they are at the standard level. I thought it was a bug with the version I was using but I just updated the app and the issue still continues.

Hi! So Premiere has been working for me all day until a few hours ago. Now, whenever I select a clip, I can no longer see it in the viewfinder or press play. I have to restart the app to be able to watch it again, and then it'll happen again the second I click on a clip. I've rebooted the app multiple times, I don't have any funky plug-ins, and I'm running it on a 2020 macbook air. It just started all of a sudden. Does anyone know why this is happening / have an idea of how to fix it? Thanks so much!

Hello, I'm new to Premiere Pro 2024. I was learning how to edit videos, and when I reached the part about installing Motion Graphics, I started having issues exporting to the timeline. A warning began to appear, saying, "Unknown Error while loading the Motion Graphic template." This error didn't occur until today. I've already cleared the cache, changed the location where the program saves the cache, reinstalled, deleted plugins, shortened the folder paths, allocated 13GB of RAM to Premiere. I've tried so many things that haven't worked. I need help solving this error (Some Motion Graphics I installed won't work, and even the ones that come with the program don't work). (sorry abt my broke eng)

I am needing to replace source footage in my Premiere Pro project as there were issues with audio sync /drift in the original files used.  I am working with Riverside (the recording platform) to get updated files that do not have the audio sync issue.  Once I have those files, I would like to use them to replace the source footage currently being used in my project.  Is the "replace footage" function best for this?   My understanding is that, once replaced, the previously applied effects to the respective clips will remain intact, as well as the in/out points will.  Does that sound correct?   Thank you!!

Hi,I'm new at Premiere Pro and my goal is to make a video with a music video montage (a power hour if you know what that is). When one minut has passed by a short clip will say 'Drink' and then play a music video until one minute has passed by, and then it will be repreated for the whole hour. How do I make this as easy as possible? Time-stamps, cut multiple videos at once?

I'm sure its some toggle switch somewhere but I have searched online, watched videos, and searche the software and cant seem to find out why the docked menu in the lower left has changed. I am working on a video project with input videos with an aspect ratio of 1080X1080 ( square form ) . I then try to export the video but the video is exporting with a 9:16 ratio despite the export settings being set to 1080 x 1080 . Why is this happening and how do i fix it so that I can export in the 1:1 ratio?

HelloI am unable to figure out what Stabalizer settings to use on my many 3 minute reels. All these reels were filmed while holding a camera thus the movement. When I attempt to stabalize I end up with the film out of bounds so to speak.
