There were many useful effects that disappeared after the latest PRemiere Pro update.Among those are : blur in, blur out, blur convolution ... why ? Those were necessary.

I never had any problems with Premiere crashing but since 2024 it crashes so often...Especially with scaled down footage in a timeline e.g. UHD Footage in 1080p timeline or UHD footage rotated 90° in a 1080x1920 story timeline. And its very random, mostly after seconds, sometimes after minutes. And by "crash" i mean freeze for 2 seconds and then close immediately without any notification or pop up. If i do the same on 2023 it works perfectly as always did. This is such basic stuff, why it does not work even now in 24.6.0? Good lord, can someone please tell me how to fix this madness? I created a simple matte in Premiere then opened it through dynamic link in After Effects to play with some titles. Then I review it in Premiere and the color is washed out.(Screen shot above showing both projects opened.) If I go to Sequence Settings and select "Rec.709" under Working Color Space it fixes the problem, but then blows out the video that follows this title page, fixing one problem to create another.

Create a sequence with a resolution 1920x1080Take a 4k or UHD clip and put it on the timeline.Apply transform effect.Do a scale transition from 200% to 50%. (Two keyframes)Playback and effect does zoom out with picture centered. All looks ok.Go back to first keyframe set Shutter Angle to 180. (Note that position of image changes immediately.)Playback and notice that the picture is no longer centered. You will only see this if the clip is a different resolution than the sequence. (higher or lower) On a Mac Studio, but this also does this on iMac. Has been this way for years. Only solution is to next the clip, but we should not be nesting to fix bugs. 

HELP!! I've just set up a new Macbook M3 and installed Premier Pro. When I launch the app, It says "Premier Pro requires access to the following folders: Documents. Grant access to this application in security & privacy preferences located in system preferences". I've followed promps and instructions and tried for hours but can't figure it out. Can someone please help.

I have seen this problem reported by others, and tried some of the solutions posted, but they didn’t work for me. I have seen adobe folk saying that this bug has been fixed, but I am on version 24.1 and the problem is clearly alive, well and plaguing my work without a workable solution.   The problem: All the sound played perfectly on the timeline but some clips dropped sound out on the export. I tried both media encoder and exporting straight from Premiere Pro, but to no avail.   The first 2 audio tracks played well, but i need two more tracks with music and  sporadic applause, but these two would not play in the export. But when I switched these tracks (3 and 4) to the place of track 1 and 2, they played perfectly, but track 3 and 4 did not play after export.   i copied the whole project to a new timeline and restarted the project, as suggested as a solution, but that didn’t work for me.   I changed the bitrate to CBR, as suggested, but this didn’t work eithe

So I've encountered the problem numerous times now. When scrubbing through the timeline, sometimes there is a super loud static sound like a radio, which blasts through the headphones and is extremely painful for my ears. I've checked the clips, and it doesn't show up in the audio track of the clips, once I stop the playback and continue it's gone. I know it's not the system, since my colleague had the same problem on a completely different system with a different project.So, I would just appreciate any tips, if there are any, to avoid it. Since my ears a ringing for a couple of minutes afterward.

Can you code through extendscript (or other), automatically adding the caption you  desire  for a video (by inputing  both text and time stamps), either adding:- the full caption for a video,- or for a part of a video- or for just one instant   ?

Hello 🙂This has unfortunately been an issue with the latest update to 24.5.0, while in previous versions it was not.  I'm unsure if this is a bug or intended, but it's honstly very inconvenient when you prefer to work in a minimized DAW style.  Funnily enough, same goes for duplicate frame markers, only that it works on minimized audio tracks and for video duplications, the tracks have to be expanded. Thanks and best, Lukas 

I have a long video of a single long raw take, which I have put in a sequence and applied some effects / cleanup. This is Sequence A. I have another sequence (Sequence Final) which is an edit of Sequence A. I.e. there are hundreds of short clips on the timeline which are all referencing Sequence A. I then make a copy of Sequence A, make some changes to the effects, and that is now Sequence B. In my edit (Sequence Final) I would like to replace a lot of the clips to reference Sequence B.  When I select the clips on my timeline, and select 'Replace with Clip', it messes up the in/out points of the clips whether I use From Bin, From Source Monitor, or From Source Monitor Match Frame. How can I replace all of the selected clips with another sequence, maintaining in/out, speed, and all effects? In aftereffects this is as simple as a CTRL+ALT+/. But I can't figure out something so basic in Premiere. 

A bug with 4k footage when using a transform effect WITH shutter angle changed. If the SA value is at 0, everything is fine. My footage just shifs to a side when on a pause but when I hit playback it returns to where it should be. So, the starting point: CUDA on, a 1920x1080 sequence, Set to frame size as default scaling in preferences, ANY 4k footage imported (no matter what framerate or codec is), the 4k footage placed onto the timeline keeping the timeline settings, a transform effect with a shutter angle of 180 is applied to the footage. I'm working on a project right now in Premiere Pro CS6 and for some reason the "click analyze to begin" blue bar for warp stabilizer will not go away, even after it has been analyzed. I tried exporting it thinking that it would go away, but nope, it seems to be baked into the image. I need to get this project turned in to a client as soon as possible. Is there any way to fix this without have to replace/re-link some of the footage?Thank you

Hello! I am working with Pro Res RAW and S-Log3 footage, but when I bring it into a sequence, Premiere is automatically converting the color space, and I can't seem to remove it or change it. Is there a way to turn this off? I am working in Premiere 22.4.0. Thank you!

When timeline has a 2/3+ minute edit with no effects present, text becomes unuseable. By unuseable I mean that when I click anything in the text (transcript or captions) window, there is no response. When I double click a subtitle on the timeline, it will not jump to linked subtitle in the transcript window and sometimes even when I am able to click into theasubtitle in the text window and update it, the updated text is reflected in the source window but not within the text window. This renders subtitles and transcripts broken. If I export audio and put it into another timeline I'm able to use the text window but with heavy lag. This was not a problem until recently (I guess 3-6 weeks).The export window has also ground to a halt for me. I have to close and reopen a project in order to even open export dropdown windows. Otherwise clicking does nothing or the export tab simple doesn't open.So far I have tried:- Reinstalling PP- Deleting plugins (I thought it was the insta360 plugin which

I have a project that is going back a few months and has been fine for months but yesterday I get the error "The File has an unsupported compression type." All the video files are an HEVC file type. I could transcode them but the media encoder doesn't like it anymore either. Also, I would rather it just be able to see the codec again as there are hours of footage. I also tried my backups of the footage and I get the same issue. Cleared my cache a few times, reinstalled premiere, logged out and back in, and spent a considerable time trying to resolve the issue. Hi fellow prem Pro users, I've been getting to know the transcription & captions functionality of Prem Pro & have a few outstanding queries :Generatingdoes transcription generate a physical & distinct file, like a render file? eg that can be found in a folder in my file directory?It seems quicker to transcribe one source clip at a time compared to a batch transcribe. Anyone else found that?Transcripts of people speaking in English (but it's not their first language so they pause & repeat words a lot) have a lot of unnecessary commas & many times don't start a new sentence with a capital. My Premiere project keeps crashing every time I use my keyboard shortcut for "go to marker" which is set for Shift+M. I use that command every single day, and for some reason today it just won't work. The beach ball starts rolling and even if I wait some time it won't go away.  Not sure if it's an issue of the project that might have gotten corrupted? I tried creating a new sequence and copy-pasting my sequence into a new one to see if that could solve the issue (or at least rule out the option of a corrupted sequence) but it keeps happening.  I'm running Premiere 24.3.0 on a Mac Book Pro on a MacOS Monterey 12.3: MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019)2.3 GHz Intel Core i9, 8 nucleos32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB Is anyone else having a similar issue?

hey all.  Question - Is there a way to SHARE folders within a production with another production?Use case - I've got two productions, each with a bunch of projects in them.  There are certain common media items I want to use in each production (which i've separated because of content type and how they're arranged in Bridge) and i'm wondering if there's a way to share a particular golder (or project) between two different productions as a meta on the ability to share the media within it's own production space.I considered, maybe there's a kind of shared folder I could create in Bridge? Maybe a way in Premiere I don't know? The other option would obviously be to have everything in one production, but i'm liking having my videos sectioned off into large-scale categories (teaching videos / story videos, etc.) and wondering if there's a way to avoid duplicating the files that I have in there.Alternatively, how to copy a project from one productions set to another (which would spee

Hello!I recently encountered a problem that is strange to me. I use AMD graphics. Every time I want to use the Looks plugin, everything becomes very slow, even the preview hardly displays the image. I recently encountered this problem, I was using it without any problem until two days ago. Of course, I used the Alt+R keys by mistake once, but now I'm not sure if it went back to the previous settings or not.Please guide me if you know where the problem is.

When using the timeline in Premiere, dropping clips, making them longer, the GUI doesn't update and hangs. When loading project, timeline is missing until window is shrunk and remaximized. Seems like an issue with GUI refreshing. ONLY THE TIMELINE AS PICTURED IS AFFECTED. ALl other panels are okay!Please see attached image.Running latest Windows, Premiere (24.5.0 B57) and Nvidia studio driver
