HelloI am an extendScript user, did not bother much with CEP stuff or that sort of plugin, but since I learned that UXP can let us automate adding effects (and things we usually are not able to do) I got interested and added "UXP" to my to do list.I would like to start by getting all the informations I might need at first, then consider using it, I might have read some mails about it.Let' start:1) What are all the things that UXP can do, that were not possible to do officially/conventionally before? I heard about adding effects, what else?  And at what extent we can control these effects. Or anything else.2) I appreciate documentation but I what I like more is a straight "how to do step by step" tutorial that let you follow blindly how to run your first UXP example. This let you see it works with your eyes and whenever you want to learrn more you can start reading more. So my question is there any guided animation/video showing how to get into UXP without thinking much, just follo

When I press spacebar to playback my timeline, there is a couple seconds of delay. It's not the biggest issue in the world but when editing fast-paced jumpcuts and precise timing which needs you to keep replaying videos, these seconds of waiting add up and get really annoying. It's very inconsistent, sometimes it plays back instantly and sometimes I have to wait for a few seconds of lag. I have tried putting the preview resolution all the way down, cleared cache and there is plenty of storage.  Any ideas?

I can't view the file in the project        

Every time when i export my project in Premire Pro, it seems look like a Color Desaturated, Low contrast, i used all of those QT cube lut, but I didn't get the same color that I used for the grade.it's to difficult for me for handle my clients.my friends are already swape in another software, they told me same thing.what should i do?Are we going to edit with this issue? Or will this issue be fixed by The Adobe team ? Or should we use some other software? 

When I compare the speech enhancer in essential sound panel with the adobe podcast enhance speech v2 on the web, I find the later one to sound better. The built-in speech enhancer has noticeable artifact. The audio are in mandarin chinese. But having it built-in to premiere is very convenient. Is there a way to make the built-in enhancer match the performance of the web-based enhancer?

Please help. I'm new to Premiere Pro, and just installed it, but every time I open the program I get the same error message (see attachment): From what I'm able to tell, I can still use Premiere as normal, but all my files get saved to a temporary folder, and I can't locate my currently existing files without great ordeal.I've tried to reinstall, and also tried to manually create a folder called "My Documents" in several different places. Nothing seems to work 

I have to deliver a doc to PBS at the end of this week and I am running some tests because the film was mastered at 3840x2160 24p but they need it at either 1080i 29.97fps OR at 3840p 29.97. The file types are MPEG-2 Long GOP @ 50 Mbps or DNxHD @ 145 or 220 Mbps. I've taken my ProResHQ export of the film and put it in sequences in Adobe Premiere one a 1080i and the other a 3840p both at 29.97 and did DNxHD exports from both.For the 1080i, I notice the graphics look interlaced and the effect is more pronounced in Premiere than it is in Quicktime. I'm not sure what to make of that? Are there any better tools I could be using for the conversion? I've also tried bring the graphics (which are AE linked comps) directly into the 29.97 sequence as well as a 4444 export of the graphics and I get pretty much the same effect every time.Alternatively, and unsurprisingly, the 3840p export looks much better. However, PBS said we can deliver at UHD but they would convert it down to 1080. So I'm worri

MTS files used to work fine, but now when I import them, the sound is just loud static (like in this video). There is audio, but it’s just noise. If I convert the file to MP4, the sound works normally. Is there a way to fix this so I don’t have to keep converting files?

Hi,I have about 100 pictures which i would like to import in Premiere Pro to make a slideshow. Some pictures have a dimension of 6000*4000, some 3000*2000, some others 3600 * 2400 etc...how can i give them all the same size in the frame? For example all should have a dimension of 1200 * 800. If i run the slideshow now, they all change in dimension....Thank you all for your help.Tommy

I frequently accidently drag that white line in the timeline which adjusts the clip volume.  Is there a way to turn off that feature?Thanks

 II continue to get this error, when the files clearly should sync. Am I doing something wrong? I think I am doing the same exact steps as I've done when it did work. Syncing clips manually makes have Premiere Pro about worthless - this is a constant in my workflow. 

It seems like there is no rhyme or reason as to which track Premiere chooses to move in order to accomplish a sound sync when I select “audio”. I need to be able to control this, because it’s causing chaos on my timeline right now. Ideally I can select “move audio track to sync” or “move video track to sync”.Please and thank you

I see you can adjust just about everything else in the lumetri color pannel with keyframes but I don't see this option for the curves (like the hue vs hue or hue vs luma curves) am I missing it or is it not possible?

Hi everyone, a video I'd like to edit is showing up in a completely different color when I import it into Premiere Pro. I did not change the settings of the video, or in Premiere Pro. When I play the video outside of Premiere Pro, it is the normal color I recorded it as. As soon as I drop it in the timeline, the color changes. It only happens with this particular video. Nothing has changed with my settings in Premiere Pro either. I've reinstalled it, logged out / in, etc. Can someone help? Thank you in advance!  

So what happened is i had already imported some MPEG-4 Movie files (DJI Drone footage) and edited all of the clips already, but now they show up as media pending.So i tried to import them again on a new sequence and a new project and it tells me that the requested file can not be imported? So confused what happened cause. they were perfecly fine in Premiere but now they arent working. Any suggestions?

The source video is a .mov video. when I drag it to the timeline, the colors dramatically change to overexposure that I cannot fix or use. Image attached

Hi, I used to be able to label clips of the same video with different colors in the sequence.SO If I wanted to label the intro in red and the rest in blue, I could.Now, when I label a clip (even cutted), it labels the whole video in the same color.What setting will allow me to do it the old way? I rely quite heavily on the audio waveforms while editing. Both in Aroll and music for adjustments and cut timing. In the past few months, there has been a change so that when the audio levels are lowered on a track, the wavelengths now shrink to match it. Is there any way we can add a setting to turn this off? For example, when I lower a music track to -20db, the waveforms are so small I can hardly tell where the high or low points are. This makes it challenging, to say the least. Even with the audio track expanded, it's challenging and makes timeline space an issue. Any chance we can go back to the way it was? Or is there a way to change this?

After updating my Nvidea drivers and enabling the "Smooth Motion" setting with my 40 series graphics card, premiere pro crashed. It took me forever to figure out that this setting being enabled caused this, so I wanted to share.

Having issues with my macbook's storage being half taken up by "other" and learnt some of it could be my premier pro cashe. Trying to clear the cashe to see if that helps, but I had a school subscription thats ended so I can no longer open the app. The only way I can find to clear it involves opening the app which I cannot do. Any suggestions on how to clear it manually? The main article says to search a certain location on your macbook but its not coming up when I search in finder and the instructions are really short so idk what I'm doing wrong.

boa noite, estou com problemas em duas ferramentas de corte, a W e a E, eu setei elas para cortarem a direita e esquerda, elas ignoram a seleçao do arquivo e cortam todas faixas que estao na agulha, mesmo eu tendo selecionado somente um arquivo, e so acontece com elas, a ferramenta de corte simples esta funcionando normal, corta somente o aqruivo quando eu seleciono

프리미어 프로 2025 사용자입니다 2024까지 프리뷰 모니터에서 프레임 이동을 잘 사용 중이였는데 2025버전부터는 아예 그 기능을 없앴더라고요 프리뷰 모니터에서 스크린 확대/축소 기능보다 프레임 이동을 더 많이 쓰고 모자이크 기능 처럼 세세하게 편집해야하는 작업자는 업그레이드가 아니라 다운그레이드를 당한것 같아요 프레임 이동 or 확대 축소 기능을 선택할 수 있게 해주세요   몇 프레임만 이동하려면 무식하게 키보드를 쓰고 있는데 너무 너무 불편합니다 제 업무시간이 3시간은 더 늘어난 것 같아요 제발 부탁드립니다

I'm somewhat annoyed by the attempt of Adobe Premiere to force the user in their own immature way of accessing files from within the app. Please let Mac users use their known filebrowser, shortcuts and sidebar. Or at least give the option in Premiere's Settings. Its annoying to navigate through hierarchies, while we know that there is an sidebar alias at hand. Update:The Adobe import interface appears when importing an Ae-Comp via Dynamic Link.
